Aladdin in Perth & Kinross

Absolutely awful. Went in and bought a kebab. Almost immediately handed a bag and at first thought perfect. Got home to release it had clearly been one sitting for a while, almost stone cold and layered with hot sauce when I had asked for just a little sauce. £7 for an old kebab. (Straight in the bin) never again do you take my cash. Absolute disgrace of a place.

Sorry I have vever visited I think I may have been stuck outside whilst waiting to leave Hamilton retail park.

Ordered from Just eat. Was told by Just eat that a delivery fee would be £4.50. Food came and delivery driver asked for £7 cash at the door. Was not told this. Anyway didn't get my good as I refused to pay this. Do not use this place, they scam money from people. I will be re publishing this every day until I get a full refund.

Ordered home delivery, arrived in probably less than 20 min. A seldom treat for myself, but the food is always top notch. I don't do reviews. But Aladdins have always been so good, I must break the pattern.

Very friendly staff and great food

I just had a kebab rap delivered and it went straight in the bin . Normally a great service but tonight the meat was old and awful even the dog didn’t fancy it. Dreadful

When i was having my meat feast pizza it had bits of hairs in it and this is the second time it has had a hair in the food.Service was ok and foot wasnt great so in my opinion i would definitely not recommend

I went there for first time, and ordered a chicken biryani, and I don't regret it. The team was friendly, the biryani was a good huge portion and flavoursome. I got an accompanying raita with biryani, very nic, creamy yogurt with chunks of cucumber tomato. Overall, well worth the price

Great food but a little pricey.

Takeaway restaurant with parking outside. Ordered online stipulating no cashew nuts. Went and collected the order all ready paid & away home. When opening the peshwari Nan it was covered in almonds. I called and said I stipulated on the order no almonds (as I’ve done many times on ordering there & elsewhere). A man called me back and said ‘the peshwari mix on the top is pre-made and had almonds’. I asked why would you put it on with almonds when I said none. He said oh that’s only a note for the driver. Do you want me to make you another one? Dismissant attitude. Very disappointing, chicken was warm & tasty

Order a takeaway from this establishment tonight the lady on the phone very pleasant couldn’t be more helpful same with the delivery guy fast and efficient boy what a feed will be back next time I park up here again

Lovely staff and great food. Limited vegan options but the Mushroom Buriyani I got was tasty and enough for 2 people.

Been getting our Indian takeaway from Aladdin's for 25 years as it is simply the best Indian takeaway in Perth.

The mixed kebab is the greatest meat feast known to humanity. Really nice every time.

Fitting new kitchen so ordering plent!y!! Would nice if they actually got order right!! 7 orders out of last eight wrong. Anyone can expect a mistake one or twice but cumon!!! WTF @!!

Burnt chicken Tikka Dry and very overdone

If in the mood for an Indian cuisine this is our place to go. Food is always good, portion are big, staff are great. 10/10

Ordered a home delivery through Just Eat, Two wraps, two drinks and a tub of sauce. Paid £4.50 for delivery which falls around the same price as other takeaways in Perth (for clarity, we live 9.5 miles from the shop) Upon receipt of the food, we were asked to pay a FURTHER £8 for the delivery. We had no money in the house, so we were told we could call to pay this. Before we had time, they were already calling us for us to pay the money. When we questioned it, they advised that the £4.50 was a Just Eat delivery charge, and not theirs. This is something they should be bringing up with Just Eat, and not making their customers pay £12.50 for delivery. Absolutely horrendous behaviour, and I’ll certainly be making sure people in the local area are aware of this. The food was average, and certainly not worth the money we ended up paying.

Food is good but the delivery containers are not good.

Don't waste your money had a pizza it it was disgusting never again.

Normally I would give five star, however, the tandoori meat was a bit too charred ( burnt) on outside, that said, was still a great meal

I order food and pick up from here every week, I thought I would get a delivery for a change and waited nearly 2 hours no apology or explanation, yes it's ok food but not worth waiting that long, think i need to find a new take away

Consistently the biggest portions I've experienced in 50 years excellent quality and always piping hot regardless of whether you collect or have delivered and I live on the other side of town Aladins was recommended to me when it reopened after the devastating fire a few years back personally only use about 4 times a month but family & friends are regulars , what you waiting for order today you will love it

Ordered Doner kebab, pizza and chips and curry sauce. Doner meat was very dry, very disappointing. Seafood special pizza on the other hand was very good. Chips and curry sauce delicious, so were the pakora. Delivery was quick, with in 40 mins. Staff member who took our order was very polite and friendly, as was delivery driver.

Lovely food and once order. Arrived with in 45 mins of ordering lovey food and very highly recommend one of my best Indian take aways and will continue to keep ordering very nice and helpful staff.

Excellent food and service - complaints.

It's OK. The curry's are not saucy enough. Leaving it quite dry and the chilli sauce is very vinagary. As Indian take aways go it's one of the better ones in Perth.

Have ordered from here in the past in passing, have enjoyed their kebabs. Most recent visit very poor, cold pitta bread, soggy salad and a weird taste to kebab, could be that meat off. Also portion size small, I dont what has happened to this place but best avoid, better places elsewhere in perth. Avoid.

I was gutted when the place burnt down, but was delighted to see it resurrected again in my mast trip to Perth. I have to say, I was pleased the hot and spicy pizzas are exactly the same as it was before, but the Vindaloos are also the same and by that I mean full of flavour, lava like and big meaty chunks of chicken. This is a must visit place.

Have used Aladdin’s many times and always enjoyed, but Saturday night’s effort was hugely disappointing. Pakoras tepid but overcooked. Popadums soggy and chewy (suspect both were next day re-heats) Curries adequate but definitely not usual standard - more sauce than meat. Final insult was peshwari nan - stone cold and bizarrely “sticky”. Considering only 400yds from restaurant to address, all of the above completely unacceptable. Don’t imagine this will either be read, never mind responded to, but bye bye Aladdins. Think next order will be elsewhere.

This place seems incapable of handling an order of any more than 1 or 2 items. Things have been missed in the past so we went through the list when we picked it up and were assured everything was in the bag - it wasn't. Again! Big portions but only average food and they can't cope if they are even remotely busy. I won't be using them again.

I bought pizza, chips cheese with beans tonight, I have to say that pizza from here immensely surpassed the pizza I have got from other pizza shops, not naming but it rhymes with bonimo 🙈 very tasty great quality and great service!

I ordered a chicken balti last night, it was so vinegary that I couldn't eat, this is the second time that the dish ordered was inevitable, do not know what they are doing, but there are so much better takeaways than this one.

I ordered the tandoori mixed grill. Portion would have fed three easily. Granted, the variety of spicing was less than I expected, but it was all good and fresh. I have to point out that for me, the service was completely normal, despite clearly quite a few having had less than exemplary service. I was physically at the busy restaurant and will surely visit again.

This is probably the best takeaway in Perth. The food is always great, piping hot, generous portions and delivered fast. A good family business.

We ordered a takeaway tonight and asked for a £20 voucher to be sent out too. The girl who took the order agreed and gave no indication that this would be a problem. However, when the meal arrived at the house an hour later, there was no gift voucher. My husband called Alladins who apologised and said they would send it out later tonight. Three hours have passed and no gift voucher has arrived so I called back to be told by the manager that this should never have been agreed and he said we never ordered the gift voucher during our first phone call. He was extremely rude and as a result I will not be ordering from them again.

This is the second time we have used this restaurant and will be the last. The pakora seemed to have been reheated more than once, they were very hard and dry. The 2 curries were so thick the spoon was able to stand in the sauce. The Garam masala was very dark in colour and there was an overpowering spice. I have had this dish many times from various other restaurants therefore I was really disappointed at the quality of the food this evening. I feel these curries were pre made and re heated as they were ready so quickly and very very disappointing.

Decided to try again and you certainly get a large meal and good value for money. They are happy to deliver to your hotel and you can see menu and delivery charges if you look on their website

Fantastic food, very quick service, great staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Portions are huge and delicious. Worth a visit, the best Indian takeaway in Perth Fantastic.

Just ordered a home delivery they said 45mins to an hour which I don't mind you know it's cooked properly but to come in 15mins is to quick chicken pakora tasted like last night's left overs also chicken masala was so spicy hot I could not eat it and tasted like paste and grainy won't be back.

Tried a take out whilst staying at the Holiday Inn Express and it was a really nice take out, the portions where massive and they delivered on time to the hotel so for me it was a great all around experience

Took 40 minutes for a takeaway. Really! Apparently normally 25 minutes so ONLY 15 minutes over. Could have cooked the food quicker ourselves. Manager offered 10% discount.

i love the food from aladdin's, its the only indian takeaway i use. their set meal deals are great value for money. keep up the good work

I'd like to give them a good review but i guess they're not only bad at delivering, seems they're even worse at knowing where their place is located. Found it in the end a few streets up. Turns out they've moved anyway

We've ordered food from here over the years but recently we've found Aladdines Seems to have problems taking orders. 3 or 4 times now our order has been wrong or delivered to the wrong address.

I would advise missing tia one out because at the moment it is all black from the fire it had. No roof either because that collapsed and there is glass everywhere. Be very careful around it.

He visitado su en varias ocasiones recientemente y no me ha decepcionado. Si es un curry, kebab, pizza o pakora el sabor y calidad ha sido excelente. Una gran relación calidad-precio. El propietario le gusta conseguir sus manos 'Dirty' así y le gusta charlar. Para llevar muy amable. Volveré.

Pedí una comida para dos desde esta outlet, había mucho y lo servían oportuna de ordenar. La comida estaba bien caliente y agradable. He utilizado este outlet en varias ocasiones y aún no nos ha decepcionado, con un menú variado y toda la comida que pedimos ha sido excelente. Lo recomiendo

Bought a meal deal for 2 x hats off for starter (although extra charge) could not tell difference in curry and god knows what kind of naan our garlic one turned out to be! Wish hot and spicy takeaway had been open. Huge disappointment

Pedimos desde aquí todo el tiempo. La comida para dos son geniales y alimentar a 4 personas fácilmente. Esta semana nos variado de nuestro habitual y ordenados kebab para un cambio. Me dieron el pollo Tikka que estaba llena de sabor y mi marido cordero....

Muy, muy decepcionados en aladdins esta noche. Normalmente no me puedo quejar, pero esta noche fue horrible! La comida era servicio frío y horrible. dijeron que entrega sería 25 minutos, tardaron más de una hora! Luego, cuando se abre la bolsa de comida, pocas cosas falta y el resto estaba fría! Llamé para quejarme y me dijeron que los artículos que falten era culpa y dijeron que nuestra comida en 25 minutos. Entender el sábado por la noche puede estar ocupado pero a los clientes leales fue una decepción.

It is a fab take away and the quality is always consistent. Food is first class and full of flavour and the service is first class even though they are always very busy. I do not go anywhere else now for an Indian take away. Well done Aladdins.

Today I've driven 7 hours to visit my parents in Perth and wanted my usual curry from Aladdins. Through a misunderstanding during the telephone order I didn't receive the main meal I requested and I was sorely disappointed as I had been thinking about it all day! However this wasn't a problem to change, in fact the owner gave me my whole order again, I did say I only needed the main meal as I already had the rice etc , he insisted I take it all as my rice at home would be cold by now! Now THAT'S service and was very much appreciated. As always the curry was fantastic, and my daughter loved her pizza. I've never had a bad meal from Aladdin's and will be back on my next visit home. Thanks so very much.

Out of all the Indian takeaways in Perth Aladdin is the only one who is consistently good and you can always expect your meal to be as good as it was the time before. I don't try any others now as you always get the quality and the taste from Aladdin.

Every dish is packed with flavour.the amount of food you get usually will feed you 2 nights,there is just so much.try the calzone as well for around £7 this monster usually weighs about 2 and a half pounds and tastes great.get round there and see for yourself.I'm drooling right now thinking about it .also the staff are very friendly and it's good to watch them making some of the food.good luck

Agree with a the others that we have the best takeaway for miles around. Assorted raiwa is fantastic as are the pizzas. Would just like to work my way through the menu!!

Very rarely do I get a bad meal from here. I live very close and it is so tempting; the smell reigns you in. Delivery is a but pricey but I do usually phone in an order & collect it.

I haven't been to Aladdin's in a couple of years and the standard is still as good as ever. I think the highlights are the pizza's which have hand made bases, and delicious toppings, all made in front of you. the other top offering is the curries, which are spiced to perfection.This is a very busy takeaway, but they still manage to get all the food out fairly quickly. If you are looking for a quality takeaway in Perth, this is the place to go.

I am a loyal customer to Aladins so much so that I never purchase curry anywhere else because I know that it would never come close to the sheer euphoria that Aladins curries provide. This review may seem over dramatic and barbaric, however there are no words that would justify my passion for Aladins curries. Not only are their curries exquisite but they are also angels with regards to pizza etc. Overall, Aladins is the perfect set meal in the most wonderful town. My final word is that if you have not tried the 'garlic chilli chicken masala' - your life is not worth living.

Apart from some of the best curries in Perth, there is a variety of different dishes to choose from. The pizzas are the best we've ever had.
