I didn’t get my food disappointed

My family of six visited yesterday, and we had a wonderful experience. The young waitress who served us was not only attentive but also very friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the enjoyment of our meal. Now onto the food – the shawarma was absolutely fantastic! It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, leaving us wanting more. However, the roasted lamb was decent. While it wasn't as flavorful as we had hoped, it was still a decent dish. Overall, our dining experience was memorable, thanks to the delicious food and the excellent service provided by the waitress. We'll definitely be returning in the future.

The restaurant is only open to steal people’s money because if you have more then four people you need to pay 14 pound’s extra. Over all bad experience.

Amazing food. We are regulars. Never a disappointment

Completely dishonesty in wording their menu , I paid 71.5 £ for a very tiny amount of mixed grills not enough even to feed a child ( literally 1 shish kofta , 4 pieces of Tawook and 4 pieces of grilled meat) and some appetizers, sweets and 2 coke. They sell it under the name of set menu for 2 persons. When I asked their manager that do you think this is enough amount of mixed grills for 2 adults , he replied it is a sharing meal and he didnot even tried to consider my complaint which was really shocking for me. I never saw a restaurant with only 2 kids chairs , if you have kids make sure they are tall enough before visting the restaurant. On top of all of this, they added service to my bill which is not included in their menu and I refused to pay for it. I DON'T RECOMMEND AT ALL , VERY EXPENSIVE AND DISHONEST , THAT'S WHY THEIR MENU IS WITHOUT ANY PICS OR DETAILS. THIS IS CALLED ROBERY.

It was a very bad experience when an amount was added to the bill 14.06£ with two adults and the rest were children who did not have any request from the waiter after ordering the food As a Gratuity I told the waitress that this amount is supposed to be optional for the customer. She told me that if the customers are more than 4 people, it becomes mandatory. I do not recommend it at all, it is organised theft

I mean this place is absolutely horrendous. They are SO stingy with their food and they charge you SO much for it. I am Lebanese and I am absolutely ashamed to be Lebanese if this is how it is. They are ripping people off. I ordered a mix grill for 2 and this is the meat I got. This isn’t enough to feed my 2 year old. Absolutely disgraceful. £70 for this. If you want to rip people off, you’re doing a good job!

Underwhelming honestly. Attended with my husband, siddra who also left a review. Waitress was rude, her name was Corina. Very impatient and made it seem as if we were wasting time. When handing out food, I noticed her lack of care almost as if she didn't want to be there. Overall, a lack of professionalism.

Got into the restaurant with my lovely wife as we're tourists visiting the O2, food was sub-par and one Eastern European waitress was very rude must i say. Service lady (eastern european woman) had mean facial expressions. She didn't appreciate the fact that we were tourists and obviously had a language barrier although she had a accent herself. Very underwhelming experience!

The food and service was good. I would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

I’ve been here twice now and each time the service has been friendly and very fast! I love their shawarma wraps and chips are nicely done! Their sauces and salads are balanced well and aren’t over the top or wet. I’ll definitely be coming back here.

Went for a late night meal. The food was tasty and promptly served. The hummus, tabboleh, and areyes were delicious. The mixed grill was tender and tasty. Portion sizes decent. Good food, would go back.

I visited the restaurant on the evening of Friday, March 29, 2024, with a simple expectation - to enjoy a shish tawook wrap. Unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. After placing my order, I waited patiently on the bench for my takeaway. The wait extended beyond a comfortable period, and to my surprise, the only female staff member working the floor approached me not with an update or apology for the delay but with a rather rude and puzzling inquiry, "Did you order or what? What are you waiting for?"I responded respectfully, affirming my order. When I finally received my wrap and stepped outside to relish it, I was met with another disappointment. The wrap was improperly packed, causing it to stick to the paper. As I attempted to remove the paper, half of the wrap tragically fell to the ground.Returning to report this issue, I was met with a brief apology from a tall staff member, but no offer of compensation or a replacement was made. This experience cost me not only my mood and energy but also my food, money, and time.I hope this feedback serves as a constructive criticism for the restaurant to improve its service and customer care.

Quite expensive and small quantity, but the food is very good, the good thing is if you like to drink alcohol you can buy outside and take it... because of the price they could give you a free Lebanese tea at least

Ordered a wrap but got a box instead

Good food, great spices, pick the different small plates. It can become crowded that shows food is good.

Burnt felafel and lentil soup not fresh and smelly. I am scared that my children or I get sick because of their food. Over all experience is really bad. The food is pricey.

Ahmed, was a brilliant host and the food was very tasty. Slightly pricey IMO. Better because its a BYOB. Say less.

The restaurant isn't big but they have a very impressive quality of food. I usually take photo of all my food but by the time I realized it, meal was done. Ordered roasted chicken, Lamb, and Hummus. It was flavorful, filling, and made me want to return to try other dishes. Do not expect to stay too long as they need to turn the tables over to keep the flow going so don't be offended if you start to feel pressure to go upon finishing.

Very slow service… arrived 5 minutes before they opened and was rudely chased out before they told me what time they open

Have eaten here a couple of times but has now gone down hill in terms of service. Cutlery was dirty with bent forks given twice. Tables in the middle of the resturant feel like the naught table of the restaurant. Waiters and other people always bumping in to your table. Food quality is okay but not great !

Really fresh tasty food, good service, lacked atmosphere, but hey ho, can't have everything!! Would certainly eat here again and thanks for the good service 🙏🏽

A long day at Excel and none of the eating options on site really lit my fire. Inside the exhibition hall was the usual burgers and hotdogs, cheek by jowl on crowded benches. Quick and easy but in truth disappointing fare. So the show finished and the need to eat rumbled over my stomach. So a 500 metre walk westwards to “looksee”. Almost immediately a large sign on a well lit welcoming establishment says “Lebanese Restaurant”. I headed for it straight away knowing I couldn’t go wrong. A warm friendly welcome and we were led to our seats being asked if we had any allergies (we’re old - so that’s a no then). A great menu of mezzo, various starters and grilled mains or vegetarian options. As ever I’m overwhelmed by choice and it’s a small plate starter followed by a grilled lamb option (sorry I can’t remember but it tasted lovely and as my mum would have said the plate was full of colour) see photo without smellovision mmmmm. So wonderful service and great food. Ideal for the short late lunch we needed. Points to note: the restaurant doesn’t have an alcohol licence. Not a problem as they are happy for you to pop over the road to a local convenience store and bring your own in. Funnily enough it drove us down the route of Turkish Tea - very pleasant. And in the small print it notifies you of an optional 12.5% service charge. They did a great job and we left it on there. If this helps you make a spur of the moment choice then I’m sure you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Excellent service and delicious food

Honestly, I wish I could put 5 starts, but the stuff… They ignored us when we came in, they were talking between each other and disappearing after we were calling them. Meanwhile it wasn’t busy at all, only 5 people inside (including 3 of us in those 5!!!) We needed to stand up every time and come make eye contact with stuff to make an order, ask for a fork, order more and etc. They were literally AFK, even though it was around 4 to 5 waiters I think. Anyway, listen now! Their food was awesome. I personally had chicken soup and my friends ordered a lot of other traditional Lebanese dishes. They were that good, that we ordered more twice (by coming to the waiters ourselves, instead of them coming to our table, I’ll mention this once again⚠️) You NEED to try their mix of juices, we tried each flavour and they were so good… We couldn’t stop on that! My favourite in the end was one with mango and pineapple. So, the food is worth the place. But when I am thinking back to that day, I am asking myself if I would I ever want to go again in here after the worst service experience? My answer is dual. I want to go, but at the same time I can’t. I’ll choose another place to not be scared to be in the same situation again. Unfortunately, for such a beautiful cuisine, awful service.

Had the best shawarma! It was so delicious, the chips and garlic mayo were a perfect accompaniment to it. The chicken was well seasoned, loved the pickled vegetables too! They gave us a free rice pudding dessert and it was so light and delicate, I can't wait to get this again!

I haven’t received my order and they said they have deliver the order! Taken my money and no apology or anything! Not received anything from them and how can they say they delivered the food!!

The customer service is so poor. Never gonna order from here again! Please don’t order from here. Order food from work to delivery and have not decided the food for almost 2 hrs. Tired calling them and being rude and blaming not their fault. I have been ordering food from here for very long time and never again from here. The person on the phone was rude and asked me to shut up! No manners, customer car or apologies. They haven’t cancelled my order and the attitude the staff had was really poor and unprofessional.

The food was delicious - the lamb kofta wrap, hommos and batata harra with fried vegetables were all very tasty. The delivery arrived quickly and somehow the hommos was kept nice and cold while the wrap and batata harra was piping hot. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious food, massive portions - enough salad & hummus in one portion for 2 people - they included extra flat bread & free dessert too :-D Super friendly delivery person. Ordered from Uber eats. Lamb shawarma is burnt. Lentil soup is overcooked. The taboulah salad not even edible. Threw my entire order away!

The service was good that’s why I gave 1 star, but the food was really tangy and salty, I could not enjoy it. We spent £75, but it was a let down. We ordered chicken shawarma with Lebanese rice, lamb shank with mince meat rice and calamari’s. The only decent meal was the Lebanese rice.

Our recent visit to our once-favorite Lebanese restaurant left us deeply disappointed. As loyal customers for over two years, we were shocked by the waitress’s rude attitude. Not only did she refuse to serve us our preferred wrap after 4 pm, but she also showed no interest in accommodating any of our other orders. Attempts to speak with the manager were blatantly ignored. In a cuisine celebrated for its hospitality, such service is unacceptable. We left hungry and disillusioned, forced to dine elsewhere. This experience has sadly made us reconsider our future visits.

Was delicious everyone enjoyed thier food

Probably the best thing to order on deliveroo. Pleasantly surprised, the food was amazing. I ordered the mixed grill it came with salad, bread and I also ordered hummus and backlava. The meat was seasoned so well and tasted fresh and the hummus was super silky and smooth. I would 100% order again. Absolutely delicious!!!

Had a terrible night here for a friends birthday. The service was awful, they came to the table with the card machine, while we were still eating and the food was bland and overpriced. Avoid.

Really great authentic Lebanese food. Big portions, just be aware that rice/chips are mostly extras so ask about it when ordering mains. But service was very friendly and seems to be a place that’s appreciated by locals so that’s always a massive bonus in my book

Delicious! Got a take away. It came hot and fresh. Everything tasted amazing! We had the lamb shank and chicken and Lamb mix grill. The cheese breads were amazing. Will deffo be back

Food takes a little long but we’ll worth the wait!

Just ate there on my own as a single woman here for an exhibition. Was made to feel totally unwelcome, was ignored and waitress totally oblivious to taking my order whilst setting tables. It wasn't particularly busy. Ordered roast lamb with herbs and spices and special sauce with seasoned rice. Lamb was fatty and not rendered, so half of it inedible, nothing special about the sauce - absolutely no flavour, and seasoned rice missed any seasoning. Having just travelled from Carlisle, I ate because I was hungry but it literally filled a hole! I would not recommend and will never go back. And it was expensive. I don't mind paying nearly £20 for a main course and even £3 for a can of coke, but when the food is that bad and they just chuck your can on the table and don't even open it, then yes I mind very much! Vote with your feet! Tomorrow night I will hopefully find something more pleasant!

Amazing restaurant, with a friendly staff. We really enjoyed all the meals, and I recommend this place for everyone. The baklava was one of the best we ever ate. When we were there, it was quite crowded so reserve a table can be helpful.

It was extremely late. I selected delivery time as 8:20pm for a reason, this delay caused problems to the household. Not only was it delayed and ruined everything, it was cold, all 5 wraps were cold and tasteless (probably due to the delay). I think this is not worth my money and I seek a refund please.

The chicken and mixed chicken and lamb shawarma was very dry however it did have a very nice flavour and i was also happy with the amount of chicken and chicken and lamb i got in the shawarma aswell

It was ok not the best Lebanese I have had. Service was also ok however my colleague was gluten free & the waiter didn't seem confident and kept saying the bread was free (which it wasn't it was part of the meal) and didn't understand the health implications around eating gluten. I had the mixed shawarma which wasn't great teeny tiny pieces of meat, taste was mediocre & having had this in other restaurants it felt like scrap ends. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it is handy for ExCel & if you want an Ok dinner then it is fine.
