Med Grill in Newham

I took a group of 10 here whilst we were working at an exhibition. The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived so we had no problem getting seated. I ordered the chicken burger which was luke warm and actually quite a small burger. Fries came with it and that was it, no garnish or anything. For £19 I didn’t think it was very good value. Pint of Guinness £8.30. Back at our hotel most thought the food was ok but no more than that. We spent £500 of which £50 was a tip.

The time I've spent at Chipotle has multiplied in a month. The combination of tasty food and great service from a cohesive team, you couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you to all of them, I will definitely keep coming to this specific place in the O2 and bring friends and family with me !

We didn’t queue for long (we were at the O2 for an event and everywhere else was rammed, huge queues and my 4 year old was getting frustrated), food was made quickly and was tasty. Sitting outside meant my daughter could eat her snacks without being bothered and I could chill out. Not fancy but an easy win when things are hectic.

£8.50 for a tiny wrap? Also asked for green chilli salsa, the lady put any barely there, was disappointed considering that this another chain that the Americans hype up!

I paid £13 for the smallest Burrito, I understand that if you wanted extra toppings, certain choices you would have to pay for, but an extra £4 for guacamole I could not justify and that was definitely needed in this dry burrito and they know that without the guacamole it wouldn't taste as nice so that's why they want to charge £4. I ordered 2, one for myself, one for my sister, I only received one. What a joke. And my order wasn't even long. A bowl of salad with 2 burritos, not that hard. Won't be ordering from here again, as I've now experienced, small independent run businesses will serve you better food and not charge you an arm and leg. Thank you Chipotle.

I should of wrote this review months ago, but you know it was a bad experience when I still remember it like yesterday. I went into here with my girlfriend and we were served side by side by having a worker attend to us separately - we went down the row telling them what we wanted, at the end, the results of each of our burritos was substantially different, my girlfriends one was very large compared to mine, mine you could barely call a medium. When I looked up at the worker attending to me, she laughed with the most disgusting smirk on her face almost as if she was about to laugh out loud, she also had strained eyes like as if she's high on something. As a customer paying for a service/food, I would expect fairness in portions, everyone's experience should be the same. I do not know the name of this worker, but she was a young Indian woman, late 20s, average height, slim. I will be visiting again just to find out the name of this worker the next time I am nearby. I would recommend speaking up about unfairness here because if you're a mister nice guy, you will be taken as a fool.

I had a disgusting service not long ago at this chipotle, my boyfriend was served a pathetic amount in his burrito, next time I will make it very clear I don't want to be served by that woman again.

I loved everything about this place. First of all the FOOD!! I had a chicken burrito and it was an explosion of flavour. I added chips and guacamole to the meal and it was the beat guacamole I had in a very long time. Chipotle is always so consistent and the team there was fantastic! Thanks!

horrible service, no customer service at all, hung up on my call when i tried to ring them. didn’t send out my order and couldn’t even phone up to get them to cancel it. pathetic, waste of time

Do not order delivery from this location. Food for me arrived 3 hours after it was due, cold and soggy. This appears to happen regularly based on the Just Eat reviews

The wait totally worth it! I came with my family to the show today, and the queue at chipotle got my attention. This was my first time at Chipotle O2 and I was delighted by the fresh food and those crispy chips, which according to the server are a new recipe. I had to wait a little bit but I would do it again!! The staff was also very friendly and genuine when interacting with myself and son. To be honest a very good choice of healthier food in the Peninsula Square! :)

I recently visited chipotle at O2, I had a double chicken burrito, it was really good, the chicken was fresh and the staff explained all the steps in the choosing my burrito. The dining experience was great, the restaurant was super clean and the staff were friendly and patient. I would like go back again sometime soon!

came today around 1-1.30pm its was busy (disney on ice was on) we had to wait for chicken to be cooked around 10mins.. they seem to rush cooking then we we did get served the chicken was pink inside not thoroughly cooked i went to the counter and told them also another man did the same they did look chuck ours away and emptied the container of chicken back on the grill to cook further which was again longer to wait! my husband and son in law already ate there’s as they had different meats..so by the time me and my daughters came, we couldn’t eat together! when we did eat the chicken was awful! very chewy not like i’ve had before such a shame and waste! the staff wasn’t friendly either.. the last time i came before this time some pieces of chicken wasnraw then.. but thought maybe a one off! nope this is the last time i go there now it’s gone downhill since it opened i won’t be retuning and tbh i should of got a refund for our meals it’s not expectable

Quite a few of bad reviews on here, I would guess that's from when it's busy at event times. I live in the area and go here regularly outside of peak times, and always had a great experience. The staff is super friendly and attentive, the food tasty and a rather healthy fast food choice. Recommended.

Finally health, fresh, delicious food and beer to enjoy before a show. I had no idea Chipotle is prepared fresh each day from scratch. Highly recommend!

Meh... same for all UK Chipotle's. I will keep saying this for every review. The first time I had Chipotle was in the late 1990's in California where I went to high school. They were bigger and the ingredients had more flavor. Here in the UK, it lacks the flavor and the shape of a buritto is a ball.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. portion sizes were small for the price, such as £2.60 for half a spoon of guacamole and half spoon for proteins too. However the food was fresh, which was great. I would recommend exploring other dining options at the O2 for a more satisfying meal. An average of £11 for a small salad it’s way too overrated.

Large restaurant adjacent to ExCel - interesting it was literally completely empty at 7pm on a weekday night so not sure what that tells you. Food was OK, if a little deep fried/overcooked...Service was great (as you'd expect it to be when you are the only diners). Probably wouldn't go back unless there was a bit of atmosphere. Not that cheap, but nothing is in the area

Ordered chicken for starters, it was burnt. Ribeye was rubbery, also had chimichurri butter which had zero chimichurri. Nothing more to say, avoid

Really good food but the service was next level. I was there working the Star Wars Celebration in April and we were constantly being checked on by the manager. At first , I assumed he was the owner because he was so concerned with our experience and the experience of the other guests. I’ve been meaning to leave this review hoping the actual owner would see it because this guy CARES!

Had a lovely meal last night, the ribeye steak was delicious and the chunky chips with truffle and parmesan cheese were so yummy. Staff was very friendly, the service was excellent. My friend and I had many cocktails all were great, Tom bought different ones out for us to try, he was funny great guy made our night, had such a laugh with him. Would go back again, all in all yes had a fantastic evening.

Colleagues and I ate here after a trade show at the Excel Center. The restaurant is located just outside the main entrance. Despite its name Med Grill and (interior decor that feels like a tired, old chain restaurant from 2006 , the restaurant is basically a steakhouse. We honestly didn't know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. Our fillet mignon steaks were perfectly cooked and presented. Absolutely zero complaints. The service was slow partly because the one bartender and four or five waiters and waitresses were swamped by an influx of customers from the Excel Center at the end of the day's sessions and meetings. It seems like they could have been better prepared for what they had to know was coming. After all, probably 90% of their customers are coming from the Excel Center. I can't imagine people travel from other parts of London to eat here. We also thought service was slow because they didn't seem to have a good system. Everyone seemed to be doing the same thing, duplicating each other. They would be much better off with one staff member who serves wine, refills water, etc. Staff were polite and very well-intended. A waiter that also seemed to be the manager was apologetic about the service delays and comped a glass of wine, which was most kind of him. The menu had other selections besides filet, including some fish. I would stick to the steaks, personally. The wine list was extensive and mostly reasonably priced, although some of the big international wine names were a little expensive. They're clearly catering to expense account customers. All things considered, don't let the somewhat tired decor or location next to the Excel Center dissuade you. The food was excellent.

A huge Thankyou all at the wonderful Med Grill. We hosted a family event with them at the weekend and they could not have been more accommodating. The staff were so professional but welcoming and friendly and the food was incredible. The actual venue was perfect. Spotless clean, bright and such a beautiful location. Cannot recommend enough. We look forward to our next visit.

Just outside ExCel you find this restaurant. Rather simple serving room, staff was not especially welcoming this evening. Food was ok (Cesar salad and pasta). Wine by the glass possible.

Coming in as the rush began was obvious as they seemed unable to cope and indeed the gentleman on the table next to me left before his beer arrived and without ordering food. (Somehow his beer ended up on my bill) then before leaving I bought a drink at the bar to drink after and they again tried to bill me for an extra pint. All in all food was good. I had the katsu burger.

Stopped here for dinner,so glad we did,our steaks were superb,staff and service was excellent,good selection of beer on draught,and good wines etc.highy recommend this restaurant,next time we are here we will return.

Really friendly restaurant, good tasty food. Sunday lunch menu great value for two or three courses. Waiter went above and beyond to ensure we had all the trimmings and extras we asked for to compliment our meal. Will definitely be going back and would absolutely recommend.
