Al Maidah Banquet Hall & Restaurant in Manchester

We have our first experience here and it was good . Food and services were good and person who were dealing our table 20 was very nice. Overall good experience.

If you want a nice family place to go to for a buffet, Al Maidah is your place. Really enjoyed the food. There is a wide variety of foods to choose from. The only negative was that they have a time limit of "90 mins" and although most people are done within an hr, it rushes customers. Also, parking was not great, small parking for how many people were at the restaurant, you do get lucky though, we did! Thank you for the good customer service and delicious food.

We come at the first time in al maiaida too much people but after one hour we get table..the food was amazing now the taste was just wao ..they both served us bisma and roma ..we are Happy with service...thank you full recommend

Literally the service was so bad and we went there on eid and they didn't even told us how much time we got to eat so we didn't eat much because we didn't knew the time limit and the food was not even that good it was just fine so in my opinion I personally don't recommend this restaurant because it was just waste of money and time

They didn’t tell us that we have time limit and we were there for about hour and said they had 90 min limit and they saud they have rush and told us to leave within hour which was not oir fault that they have rush and to leave

Amazing food and I love the fact they removed all of the boycotted drink, more places need to do this.

Absolutely love this place the food and service is second to none. Our server Navjod was brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. Been here quite a lot and the quality is always brilliant. Highly recommend

Poor Service, Starters (chicken Tikka, fish, chicken Pakora, kebabs) were Cold, When Ask for Lamb chops they said wait 15 minutes staff is on Prayer Break, when we Ask for Puri guy said come back in 15 minutes even though he has no other request for Puri. Staff was Rude. 👉Waste of Money. 👉Not recommended at all.

Excellent choice of desi dishes

We went for Al Maida’s aftar buffet. The service was amazing. The waitresses are super friendly, helpful and smile 😁 Food, tbf I didn’t try a lot of the dishes but the ones I tried had some major misses. The coleslaw for example was bitter. The ketchup was a SHAME! The bbq was well cooked but missed flavour and spice. The firni was also Meh… Now the good ones: Kulchay: 10/10 Channa chat: 7/10 Pakoras:10/10. Sesame wings: 8/10 Biryani:8/10 (would be better with more spice) Overall if they decrease the price that would be worth the food served.

The food was very good. Most of them were freshly served. Very satisfied with table service, we were attended by Roma and Bisma, very friendly, just made us feel as home. Adequate parking. Recommended for a family gathering.

Overrated buffet. Management was not able to control the crowd. Food is completely tasteless apart from 2, or 3 items. Overpriced.

Extremely disappointed with the service we received yesterday. We booked a table for 5 and payed a deposit. We were running a few minutes late and would have ended up arriving 10 minutes after iftaar. The lady was rude and said if we cant get there in 5 minutes she will be giving our table to someone else. I also explained the reason why we were running late as we travelled from far and were stuck in traffic yet the women was so stubborn she kept mentioning the policy. But you can cut people slack for a few minutes especially if we payed a deposit. If she was willing to hold our table for a few more minutes she wouldn’t have lost customers. We will not be returning.

The waiting system during Ramadan needs reviewing after waiting 2 hours for a table when told only 45mins. This should be looked at and set a system in place. The food wasn’t worth that wait.

We wanted to try this restaurant over already tried restaurants like Nayyab which is fairly cheaper as well! The place is no less than a fish market. Overcrowded! The que to get the food is around 30-40 mins! They should only have half the customers they had in the restaurant! We were 11 individuals and only served 1 water bottle and were told that they’ve run out of water bottles, when we finish we could find some staff (although they were no where to be found) and ask for more! No tissues on the table, were asked to get in the food que to get tissues! Paying a decent amount for this sort of appalling service is madness! Decent food, pathetic service and overly crowded place. Such a disappointing experience.

Don't bother coming here to open your fast. They can't handle the queues, 2 hours later you're still waiting to be seated even as only 2 people. Come here for ifyaar and there's a chance you might get seated in time for sehri

I visited here for the first time and i enjoyed a lot with my friends. Food was delicious ,we love desserts. Rupinder was amazing she gave us good service Sneh was also very helpful to get the table

Not even had the food just yet, but I called to book a table for 2 and was told you don’t need to book will be first come first serve as long as you arrive 45 mins before as it’s ramadhan. So I didn’t book and was given table which isn’t even part of the normal restaurant seating next to the entrance. No apologies were given and Absoloute nothing they was willing to do even though we was 50 mins early and 90% of the seats were empty! Shocking service and attitude to begin with! I’m sure the food will be half decent so will give a 3 for that to stay neutral! Not sure who to blame the woman taking bookings or the guys in the hall but they need to be on the same page. As I wasn’t made aware over the phone that if u don’t book they make u an outcast! Had no choice to accept the seating as I was close to iftar time, otherwise would have left!

Starters were fresh despite I visited late, Lambs Chops were brilliantly cooked/grilled by Chef and in main course i tried Bindi which was quite the same taste(yummy) as before. In dessert Parth served us some good food. Sneh booked our table and served the samosa chaat as well. Overall staff is friendly in Alamida and food is fresh and yummy.

Food was good. I liked the fish masala and chapal kebab especially. Service wasn’t the best. Our waiter didn’t know what planet he was on. Bless him. The wannabee bouncer outside told my 7 year old sister in law who weighs like 3 stone to move away from one of the bollards because he was scared it was gonna fall down. Make it make sense.

OMG words can not describe how amazing the food was. Starters were amazing, plus the speciality tava chicken is worth getting. And then you get to dessert.. fresh doughnuts and kulfi ice cream were unbeatable. We arent local but this beats the buffets in Birmingham hands down. We will definitely travel back soon

This place is the most disorganised restaurant I’ve ever been to, they took our BOOKED position in one minute and gave it to another group, we were absolutely mortified by how long we had to wait and the way we were treated. We were told to come in and then was rudely interrupted by getting kicked out. THEN, they told us to come back in. This place is so utterly disorganised and disoriented.

Customer service doesn't deserve Even on star I have made a booking for 20 people for Eiftar when we got there they have given our table to their own families Im very disappointed I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone Rubbish We had to wait 2 hours

Almaidah on top with best buffet, variety of food is huge and taste is finger licking good. Best of all is Hospitality. Navjot and Yug were the best member of staff having great customers service. They are humble, welcoming and very well professional.

We visited here for the first time with friends I must say this is the best place to eat with family and friends during Ramadan We love their food which fresh and delicious and hot as well Paya was best . Everything from starters to Dessert were best . Customer services were on point Especially thanks to Ms Sneh thanks a lot for look after us

Went to this place under a recommendation from a friend. When we got there it was fairly busy which we didn’t mind. The food itself was good and there was plenty to choose from. Negatives about this place are the management should do something about young children running around and bumping into diners and tables, maybe advise parents who are visiting with young children that children aren’t allowed to run around and if they do you will all be asked to leave. The cakes were all very dry and didn’t taste fresh. It was also nice to see that they were showing support for the people of Palestine and boycotting Coca Cola products and serving Barr soft drinks instead, although they are still charging Coca Cola prices! Win win for the owners. Personally I think the soft drink prices should be cheaper as you can buy a 1.5L bottle for about a pound.

Fish pakora is the best. Not many items are good. Salad doesn't smell fresh. Lamd was cooked with not good size meat which you can easily get in other restaurants. Desserts is mind blowing. The service in dessert section was very prompt. Customer service was really good. A lady named Roma served our table and her customer service is very professional and good.

Arranged a friend’s meal for 10 people at Al Maidah. Most of us hadn’t been before and really enjoyed the food and the experience. We were served by Roma and she looked after us really well. Would highly recommend.

The best Buffet I’ve ever been too; great selection of food and really flavourful. The Chicken and Fish Pokoras are the standout. Our server Roma was very attentive and wonderful sever. It does get busy so I would make a reservation.
