Al Khayma in Redbridge

We had an amazing time at Al Khayma!! Food is excellent, staff goes the extra mile to ensure you have a good time! Rahima is fabulous and so is Saad!! Thank you to you all for an amazing night!!!

We had a big family celebration dinner. Food fresh, excellent taste and on time. Saad is brilliant with accomodating everything from food to people's different requirements. As is the manageress. They go the extra mile for you. Great atmosphere. We all felt very well looked after.

Staff was amazing as always, especially Saad who made sure we was always taken care of. 10/10 best spot ❤️

Very bad experience, very rude staff, made is leave the place unless spend minimum charge and have to order lots of food and drinks to stay. Please don’t go there.

Music amazing.. come for shisha and food! Brilliant service throughout the lounge and toilets very clean.. shisha flavour you must try is double apple and paan!

Got a takeaway from them and I’m very disappointed that I got raw chicken. I really don’t know how they even sent this out as we opened the lid we saw pink chicken.

Amazing quality of food, stunning presentation, super fast service, and gorgeous atmosphere! The severs were really nice and made sure we enjoyed our trip. The prices were great for the quality of food they gave us! Overall our visit was amazing and I would definitely recommend any one looking for quality food at a quality price!! :)

I have been too may times in this place The food was delicious before it was amazing actually and i want yesterday and the food is very bad test and I have been impressed with my friends are I was recommended this place to come to visit was really good for but I discover it is really bad in that time I don't organise anyone to go there

Freezing cold food I have visited on Friday 18/9/2020 dinner time Food is horrible we ordered lamb kafte and Chicken and Lamb Platter - For 4 people £54 it was almost raw and chewy no flavor... Food was coming to fast from the kitchen like they put Tim to cook it . I’m a regular customer but test of food it has been changed.

The kebabs (mixgrill) was bland and tasteless the only kebab that tasted OK was the shish kebab. the chicken and the lamb were terrible. the dish is £15 plus service charge. The price of the mixed kebabs for one person was bit too high considering the blandness in taste of this dish. I felt very unsatisfied with the food. I found this was nothing special going out to eat with the family as I could have had made better and tasty kebabs at home with 10% of the cost. The table wasnt fully cleaned there were bits of food particles around the whole table so I didnt feel confident to eat there.

Any time we have a get together or me and my husband manage to free up sometime I always suggest this place. You can’t go wrong.So me and my husband went for a late lunch and shisha. Like always food was good and shisha was on point too. Unfortunately this turned in to bad experience Really quick. We went to pay as we was leaving. The guy at the counter was doing his job bring up our bill and my husband pulled out his NHS card and asked if they do NHS discount to which he said yes. He called over another guy who I think was his supervisor. Now this guy comes over and the first guy try’s to tell him that my husband is asking if they do NHS discount and before he could even finish he cut him off and turns to my husband and asks him “what, what do you want me to do with that?”referring to his staff card with a nod of the head. He was so aggressive and rude. Now my husband being the nice guy he is repeated his question . He said no we don’t and my husband said ok and paid the bill after the second guy finished ringing up the bill and we left. If that was me I would have pointed it out there and then but seeing as I wasn’t leading the conversation and I didn’t want to cause a sense and show up my husband I left it. I have to say this experience has put my off going there for future girls nights out or any event for that matter. I think the guy need some customer service lessons and not feel so privileged at his work place when it comes to paying customer parting with their money

Nice place to enjoy shisha after good food, music good but sometimes they play sad arabic songs(annoying) some of the waitresses ignored us(maybe because we looked better than them)and they use liitle to long time to prepare the shisa... overall and ok place........

I celebrated a milestone birthday last year and the experience at Al Khayma left me with an everlasting, beautiful memory that was truly amongst some of the best moments my life. First and foremost I would like to thank the staff for their kind and helpful nature in accommodating all of our requests. The management team - Ahmed, Asma and Sharif were so helpful at each stage, from the initial planning and booking through to the day of the event. The organisation and service was faultless, with delicious food served in a timely and organised manner, a true credit to the management and all kitchen staff. We booked the private room upstairs which can only be described as breathtaking. From the moment I walked in I was captivated by the beauty and elegance of the decor. The options for entertainment such as the dj booth and belly dancers really provided us with an all in solution for my event that exceeded my expectations. The sheesha terrace is another plus and well enjoyed by members of my group. I would recommend this venue whole heartedly to anyone who likes Middle Eastern food and has a large group to cater for. Over 80 people attended my event and many have either dined or enquired about booking the venue since! I wish the staff continued success with this venue in the future and look forward to returning again soon!!!

Following a disappointing NCFC defeat at Dagenham, we chose to try something different. What a choice, amazing. Nice people, great service, great food, reasonable price. They even helped with parking, wow. Not too complicated menu, good advice on choice. If we are in the area again, we wol be there.

Fresh tasty and cooked to perfection food. Not overcooked nor undercooked. Friendly staff. Nice tea and sweets after meal. Good value for money. Will definetly return.

We drove 2hrs from the other side of London to visit this restaurant. The food was incredible, service was spot on and the ambience was great. We will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for authentic Lebanese food! We had the mixed grill and the quality of the meat was excellent. The kids loved the milkshakes!

Tasty food but awful service and overpriced menu plus inability to split the bill between people leaves a lasting sour taste in the mouth with this place. Another forgettable dining experience in Ilford. Amateurs. Avoid.

Went there for a friends surprise birthday party and real surprise was as we arrived it looked fantastic and as the food came it was even better Great customer service wonderful food and even better friendly customer very happy ambiance Food was something else really authentic tasty and very healthy Meat was cooked so well that it melted in our mouths and tenderly flavoured Lamb chops were really tasty and well cooked After we enjoyed the food we had to go into their Shisha lounge great ambiance and very accommodating staff whom set the Shisha to individual taste highly recommend itHomous was very traditional taste and the cocktails were to die for

Good evening, having read previous reviews I was dreading my dads surprise birthday meal. The family chose this restaurant due to location & by recommendation.

Un vrai régal pour nos pupilles, pleins d'épices (qui ne piquent pas forcément), très compréhensifs avec nos enfants qui mangent peu. Service impeccable. Prix correct pour la quantité et la qualité.

The food was below standard. There was no real taste and was not value for money as the portion side does not match the price. The decor was tacky and when we visited the restaurant was pretty much empty which says a lot!

we have had a very bad experience at this restaurant .food was not fresh at all maybe from the night before and it had no taste and it was too overpriced ,the service was terrible. we are just so disappointed and will not be visiting this restaurant again

We had such an amazing time at al khayma, Hamada was the most amazing host anyone could ask for. He looked out for us during the night and made sure everything was perfect. Thank you very much for the amazing host and amazing time we will definitely be back.

Back in February, Essex Foodies were fortunate enough to visit this authentic Lebanese restaurant & shisha lounge in Ilford. The first thing I noticed when approaching the restaurant, was the sheer size of it - huge! The restaurant is spread over 2 floors, with a shisha lounge to the front. Upon arrival, restaurant manager Ahmed kindly greeted us & showed us to our table - we chose to sit upstairs which has more of an authentic feel & ambience. The tables here are not your usual restaurant tables, but desert style bedouin - lovely & traditional to say the least! Also, due to the seating arrangements, the restaurant isn't brightly lit, which i thought was quite nice, & especially relaxing.

I would advise anyone to make a booking at this Venue I did FAB from now on shall always book this Venue we are like Family now.

Excellent service, great ambience, child friendly. Food was delicious and generous helpings. Definitely recommend and hope to come back soon! Very welcoming staff too!

Really really enjoyed my experience at al khaybar service was ace !! Food was delicious the chops chicken was so succulent they do ice pack on shisha not many places do it overall experience was amazing would highly recommed this place!!

We went for a birthday party and had the top reserved for the party. The atmosphere was amazing- felt like being on holiday. We had large platters ordered. Food was very tasty. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Went for a family dinner .First time experience was a bit doubtful but happy at my decision. Food and service was very good. Staff was extremely polite and friendly. Great ambience and cherry on top there was belly dancing on Saturday.Great experience.Ive had lebanese food all my life and I can say they did gud justice to food.

Sorprendentemente excelente lugar para una noche con los amigos y familia. El restaurante ha sido decorado a un marroquí / media tema oriental y parece genial. La comida es indio y era muy sabroso. El servicio es rápido y eficiente, y Timbres en las mesas para pedir una bebida comida/ / la factura. 5 de 5 por la decoración, la comida, el servicio, el ambiente y los precios. Bien vale la pena.

Visitamos con amigos en un viernes por la noche. Preciosa distribución - asientos es como un sofá en mesas grandes, separada de la próxima área por cortinas. Habitación preciosa.

Went to Al Khayma recently. The place is designed with beautiful Arabian theme. They provide option of private dining and you can get the room sizes as per your requirements.

This was the worst restaurant I've been to! Service was crap and was an absolute copy of the Tent Ilford.. The food says meditterian but it's Indian! Lies lies more lies.

En una de nuestras noches de sábado, mi esposa y yo fuimos a Al Khayma para la cena. El restaurante es impresionante con ambiente muy auténtica decoración árabe. Todo el lugar tenía mini tiendas que estaban muy privado con cortinas pasamanería y todo.

I visited the restaurant today and am disappointed. The service was good but food was not even average. Its overpriced and not Moroccon at all. Service was good but we were there basically to have food not service Only........ so what we had was not worth-it. We all highly disappointed.

We went for dinner at this beautiful Moroccon style restaurant.The decor in this place is fantastic and every attention to detail has been taken to inspire that Middle Eastern feel.The food however was disappointing,it didn't seem very Moroccon to all of us and we had to order from four set menus.They didn't have any desert in the set menu and the Kawa at the end tasted like hot mouthwash.I think this place would do even better if they had deserts and gave a choice of what tea we wanted at the end.The lady waitress was very nice and always had a warm smile.Please be aware that they add a service charge to the bill which is £3 per person.We loved the belly dance but felt disappointed by the cuisine.
