Good prices compared to others We've ordered a few times now... Sometimes food is amazing sometimes the meat can be too dry and undercooked

Disappointed with take away our first time here and will not return Poppadom red sauce tasteless Mains balti not to bad Passanda appreciate it has coconut in Christ it was like eating a bag of dessicated coconut not nice Chicken tika masala was tough Sag pioneer was awful full of desiccated coconut and looked poor Naan bread keema Had no meat in it cheese naan ...no cheese....all burnt Food overall poor Had high hopes but disappointed

Great food. Rice portions were small size so next time I would order more rice. All food was very high standard, would definitely recommend!

This is a gem of a takeaway, great food, five-star hygiene review, fast service, lovely staff, great value. Food comes with lots of sauce which can be saved to re-create your favourite dish later on. We ordered the chicken methi, which has great flavour, medium hot. Also garlic chicken which was creamy with coconut. And then three vegetable side dishes: aubergine brinjal bhaji, which has no chilli slightly surprisingly, Tarka dal, which was cream/coconut-based. and a very sweet Sag Panneer to which we added frozen spinach at home, which gave us a delicious dish, and enough to feed three people. On a Friday, there is 20% off if you pick up. Such good value for very good food. We will be back. Thank you, Shahad, hope business continues to be good.

Oderd food at 10.05pm and never received it tried to call them to get a rough time of delivery and no answer will not be ordering from hear again

Ordered over the phone, friendly chap took order, delivered in good time. Dont often give reviews where I should but the food was so lovely that its a must to give rave reviews to this restaurant. Lovely service and the food was gorgeous. First time having an Indian takeaway up in the the east coast but would highly recommend.

First takeaway from here. My husband enjoyed the vindaloo my karahi was rank. Just very sweet tasteless sauce which was inedible and ended up in the bin. Won't bother again!!! Very expensive too.

The best curry we have had in a long time. Cooked so well the flavours are released to perfection. The vegetable naga and vegetable bahji were particular favourites.

Had a vegetarian meal which I collected. Ready on time, friendly, really lovely food. We usually use Labone but after a recent leaflet drop from here we thought we’d try it. Seems like mixed reviews but for us no complaints and we’ll be back.

Ordered takeaway this evening,not great king prawn butterfly hard,lamb dish couldnt even cut it ,not cooked properly bloody in middle, chicken dish was an oil slick,£38 for a takeaway, most of which went in bin!

Always grab a meal from here when back in Norfolk and never had a bad one. My mum had her first ever Indian take away and she lived it.

Sadly, we are locals and normally enjoy our takeaway experience. Tonight was dreadful. I have eaten quite a few chicken jalfrazis. Rich tomato and lentil sauce, succulent, chicken with a hot kick. Tonight was watery, non descript sauce and chewy chicken and nothing else!! It landed into the bin. What a shame.

Just finished take out Indian. Delicious and lovely and hot food. Definitely recommend and will leave menu in information book in our holiday cottage

Good value for money on a Friday but the standard of cooking not as good as it was. Suspect a different chef. For example my prawn balti was tasteless. Supposed to be medium hot but was very mild. Will stop going there for a while. Ah yes the mixed grill I had a while ago was dire. The chicken leg had been cremated.

This Indian takeaway is amazing. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered. I was very impressed how the gluten free items were labelled online and boxes provided to mention allergies. I called them before placing the order to check I had confidence in them preparing the dishes gluten free as I am Coeliac. They couldn't be anymore reassuring. They said if there were any questions regarding the order they would call us. Arrived within time delivery time slot too. Would highly recommend! Shame we were only visiting on holiday otherwise this place would be somewhere we'd be visiting regularly.

Was pleasantly surprised to see that this Indian delivers to Aylsham. Unfortunately the second time we ordered there was chicken in the vegetable masala, so we won’t order again. Anyone with allergies ought to be aware that there is a risk of cross-contamination from here.

We have ordered regularly over the last many years but recently feel a little let down with a few things. Overcharged on our delivery order and then the following week there were items missing that normally come with the order. Unfortunate as we have always enjoyed our food over several years but lacking a little lately😩

10/10 service, cleanliness was spot on as well as politeness of staff which is hard to come by these days. Would definitely recommend yourself a visit here!

By far and away the best Indian takeaway in Norfolk. Each dish has it’s own unique and excellent flavour. The flavour spectrum from their large range of dishes is amazing. Their specialities and Murghi Specials are all delightful; their Classic Dishes are also splendid. They all very nice people. This review may sound a bit over the top, but I truly think this Indian Takeaway is the best - which is why I am a very regular customer.

Had really nice curry from here tonight, some different specialities from the norm. On holiday but they delivered to Mundesley and had app to order on and 15% off first app order. Order came at correct time. Would recommend.

Very tasty and good value Bangladeshi cuisine

Last night we ordered a curry for us and our friends for collection. We drove over the 9 miles from our village collected our meal and realised one main dish was missing. I rang them and they realised it hadn’t been added, they were extremely polite and apologetic, arranged for the dish to be delivered, which they did very quickly. The customer service was excellent, we have been using them for many years and will continue to recommend them. Food was delicious as always and our evening wasn’t spoilt, just held up a little. Thank you so much everyone.

Ordered chicken korma , chicken jalfrezi & chicken tikka balti with saag aloo ,pilau rice & naan breads for delivery to a local caravan park. The delivery arrived on time & the food was simply delicious with very generous portions. We are regular eaters of Indian food & have to say this is the best we have had for a long time & will certainly use them again when next in the area!

This is one of if not the best Indian takeaway meals we have had. Delivered on time to our Caravan Park (Two Mills) but the flavours were delicious. Well done guys, can you move to East Yorkshire.

Having had many good takeaways from here in the past hopefully this is a one off, but. Very disappointing takeaway Saturday night. Had a Lamb Madras, the sauce was like eating a jar of tomato purée. Pilau rice was over cooked and tasteless and the garlic naan seemed to me to just be a naan with a bit of garlic butter brushed on top. Not good enough guys.

Having just returned from life overseas for the past few years we were so pleased to see the Al-Haqq family are still cooking amazing Bangladeshi food from their takeaway in North Walsham. We have to say the menu has gone from strength to strength with them including of some superb dishes. The Lasan Mirchi Masala dishes flavoured with Talsi are a welcome change and way above that served in the usual Uk takeaway or restaurant. The Naga’s have just the right blend of spice and heat. Excellent work chef.The new facade to the takeaway is stylish and upmarket, and the food is in every way as good as any top restaurant Well done my friends, you are a high point of our return to sunny Norfolk. Well what can we say.This is a man who goes in without informing the Tennant that they wish to, and then throws their personal belongings out. TV, clothes, pictures and other various bits. Doesn't do any of the landlord duties properly and then wonders why there is a problem. Avoid his flats in North Walsham also do yourself a favour and avoid his food. Atrocious

Fantastic Indian take away. Delivered v quickly to campsite in Happisburgh right up to tent. Lovely tasty ( hot) chicken Tikka vindaloo as good as you'll get anywhere!

Had a delivery to Cromer took around an hour which was expected. Food was hot when it arrived however we were missing a naan bread but got some pickles instead. Coconut rice is really good but the Lasan Mirchi masala was no where no as hot as I expected, it was not much hotter than a tikka masala but was full of flavour. Also Gobi was a little bland though.

Ordered from a touring caravan site in Mundesley after the menu was popped under the awning , glad we did ,really good veg bhuna as good as my local , the lamb bhuna was full of meat , really impressed, Nans where some of the best we have ever had , all in all a lovely meal , delivered promptly with the driver ringing me to say he was on site , will definitely order again

We ordered as soon as they opened, and picked up 20 minutes later.. All curries and sides are excellent and enjoyed by all. I would 100% recommend for a takeaway as we've been using Al-Haqqs for years and never have had a problem and great value. Thankyou from the Spencer family.

I hadn't used Al Haqq for a couple of years. However I saw it had reopened after the coronavirus enforced closure, so I gave it a try last night to buy for three. Easy and charming telephone manner, very pleasant service when I went to collect, dead on time, and first class food. I shall return!

Ordered food when my children came to visit from London i myself lived in London or more than 25 years where we were spoiled for choice for Indian food. The food at Al-Haqq is absolutely amazing very tasty with a lot of choice we all loved it. We ordered again a couple of weeks later and it was delicious again, all at a reasonable price I am so glad to have found a excellent Indian take away in North Walsham.

ordered as early as we could because last time had to cancel because of an hour and a half delay this time after the statutory h our and half and a phone call later our food arrived stone cold, despite telling the proprietor that we wanted the food picked up and a refund given, my husband had to take the food back will not be using again

This restaurant has never let me down. I’ve been ordering from Mr Haqqs restaurants for the past 20 years and they’ve never once disappointed me or my family. Packed full of flavour, generous portions, beautifully cooked and delivered to your home.A brilliant man, restaurant and food. I would recommend them to anyone and always have.

When you order and they repeat your order you expect it to be right. I wanted a madras lamb tikka and ended up with a lamb malayan last time i ordered they forgot my naan bread not good if you cant follow a simple order. Wont be going again. Nice food though just a shame you cant get what you order

Three varied curry’s made to order. Being unsure what wanted except for a hot, medium and a mild we received great advice. We return 15 minutes later, picked up our order enjoyed a brilliant meal when we got back to our holiday accommodation.

We ordered the special set menu ( choice of starter, main dish and side dish, any nan, any rice) to take back to our caravan on holiday.The meal was delicious, one of the best "take-aways" we have had- and we love Indian food. We collected from North Walsham. It was so tasty, we phoned them afterwards to tell them !

The food we've had from here has been top notch and delicious but I recently read they have a poor hygiene rating. I really would like them to clarify if this has now been rectified.

We have used al haqs takeaway for a number of years and since moving 6 months ago we have ordered a handful of times for a delivery and always had an issue with the driver finding us, though every time hearing “ we know where you are now” when they finally arrive!

To begin with, our order arrived with a starter missing. After calling up and explaining they brought another. We kept the rest of the meal in the oven to keep it warm. The prawns in the starter were very debatable, lukewarm and everything was covered in grease. After both of us trying the prawns we decided for our own well being to leave it. Plated up main meal, the chicken was literally like mush. Completely inedible. Called back Al Haaq’s, and explained to the woman on the phone, who then argued and questioned my knowledge of cooking. I asked for a refund and she said they’d want the whole meal returned, which i said was fine. Said woman arrived about fifteen minutes later and then insisted on taking apart the order and examining it in my front room, I ended up with dahl on my carpet, while she poked her fingers in all this food :( After all of that she then only offered a part refund, at which point i just wanted this woman out of my house.

Ordered a takeaway for delivery, lamb jalfrezi and chicken balti for my first time from them. 1h30 mins the food arrived in, which if it tastes delicious I can get over, but... the food was extremely bland, you couldn’t taste different spices, there was zero heat in any of them let alone flavour. I wish I had just made my own with a supermarket sauce as it would of tasted a lot more nicer unfortunately.
