Al Bustan restaurant in City of London, Westminster

We went there for a middle Eastern meal, and we had two mixed grills. The food was good although the chicken in one of our dishes wasn't cooked enough was rare inside... therfore not edible... shame. The service was fine.

The food was yummy especially falafel

The "sandwich" was delivered as seperate items tomake at home! Not only that, but there wasnt enough sauce, and by the time id made the sandwich it was cold and it wasnt nice. Not recommended.

Ordered a takeaway sandwich and recieved all ths ingredients to make my own! Not what youd expect or want. "MAKE YOUR OWN FOOD" Is a concept that probably wont catch on!

Ordered off just eat and they accepted, kept me waiting for an hour, long after the estimated arrival time, then cancelled it because they 'didn't have time'. If you don't have time, don't accept the order.

The food is very, very, very delicious. The beans are dangerous, and the licking is disgusting. Honestly, the best Arabic restaurant in London. Sister Joud is very wonderful and her treatment is classy and polite.

A little bit expensive, £10 for Morrocan tea. Wasn't on the menu, and they wanted to put service charge on top of that.

We ordered Lamb Shwarma and Chicken Shwarma with chips. Nancy was attending to us, and she was absolutely lovely and friendly. The chef gave us hummus on the house. We were in a rush today so we got everything to takeaway, but we will definitely come back to dine in. Cheers to the team! 😊

The service was great, the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good, good Tabuleh, good grilled meat, and hummus. A good volume of food. The atmosphere was ok, but the lighting was a bit too bright for the night.

One of the oddest restaurant experiences I've had. We dined for almost two hours during peak hours and were completely alone in the establishment for the entire duration. This was on a weekend. The food was decent and plentiful almost to a fault, but expensive. The waitress was helpful, but appeared really flustered and nervous for some reason? There was a cold draft coming from the main entrance, which was wide open to sub-5 degrees celcius outside. We asked for the door to be closed, but this was ignored. The main light fixture in the restaurant was malfunctioning and flickering aggressively, bathing the tables in a really uncomfortable strobe light. Nothing was done to fix this.

Popped in for launch with a friend and we both were surprised by how good the food was. Honestly, i avoid going to Lebanese restaurants in London even though i'm lebanese because of the attitude i get, food quality and portion as well as the high prices. However, here Al Bustan is a well priced restaurant making it very affordable. Also, the sevice was fast as we ordered a mix of hot and cold starters and a mix grill for main. The quality of the food was great and genuinely, this is the best Lebanese restaurant at Edgware Road. Would definitely recommend everyone to give it a go.

A beautiful restaurant. The food is delicious. The reception is wonderful, especially from my sister, Karima. I ordered grilled fish with rice and salad. The taste is beyond imagination. The Egyptian chef Abu Sabry is creative in cooking, clean, and his food is delicious. The price was 19 pounds, which is considered very acceptable, especially in London. I strongly recommend increasing this restaurant. I have decided To be my own restaurant throughout my stay in London. The food is delicious. We tried the mix grill and shish tawook. The salads are sweet

The girl ( with long blonde hair) who took the order was so rude. And she did not even understand what means “lamb chops”! She had to call the cooker from the kitchen so we can explain to him what we want. Then we were given by another server something we did not order so we thought it was a good gesture. The girl came few mins later to our table looking and told us “what is that?” we told her the server gave it to us. The girl looked angry and left. After we paid we found out that she added this order to our bill without even informing us. We told her why we pay for something we did not order so she said yes “I know you did not order and, my colleague did a mistake by you pay for it because u ate it” We will never go back there again and will advise everyone the same as long as this stupid girl is there.

Very good meal - under £20, but was a generous plate of rice with a whole lamb shank, and salad. Also got a complimentary pot of mint tea. I ate by myself, but I'm planning to bring friends here in the future

The people work there were very friendly. The Shisha is so good and prices are reasonable. They have Arabic live music during weekend.

I ordered No 58 which is 9 pounds, but it gave me another plate, which is 16 pounds.

We enjoyed our meal in here , one of the best middle eastern restaurants in London. You can tell they run this business with their heart .

I appreciate the fact it was delivered early but I’m sorry I am at work if I’ve put delivery for 4:20 it means I can’t be out to collect it before that time. I wish time can be respected in the future. Thanks. He is very nice tho and waited for me.

Excellent restaurant recommended for Lebanese cuisine. The dishes are plentiful and the dishes very genuine. I recommend trying both the aubergine cream and the hummus, as well as the rice with lamb. Overall we had a very good time, very friendly staff. Prices are proportionate to the quality and quantity of the dishes. In the final bill, in my opinion, the beers which are small are very expensive and in addition to the menu you pay for the service, as in many places like this. We absolutely recommend if you want to eat well.

Decent little joint at the beginning of Edgware Road. Live music, shisha, food, you name it. Service could be better especially during the busier periods.

We had an amazing family birthday celebration here. The food was brilliant, each dish which came out was fresh and delicious and the owner was so helpful suggesting items we should try. The space was clean and bright. The owner and staff went above and beyond, preparing special drinks for us and bringing a birthday dessert with candles. We ranged in age from 2 to 72 and everyone had a great time. Thank you!

The staff's demeanor is noticeably rushed and unaccommodating, pushing for a quick turnover of tables without regard for guests' comfort. Enjoying the meal becomes a challenge due to this pressure. Despite the high quality of the food, the overall experience is marred by the staff's lack of effort to welcome guests with disabilities. The presence of a mobility scooter seems to be treated as a nuisance, further diminishing the dining experience.

I suspect these are fake reviews or the restaurant has changed hands - for the worse. I went for dinner at this restaurant last night based on the reviews and was really looking forward to it. I was very surprised they had someone in the street enticing people to come in and more so that only 2 tables were occupied when we arrived. This doesn’t correspond with such a well rated restaurant – I should have walked away. Whilst waiting to order, I overheard 1 table complaining about the quality of food. The manager told them they were all new staff and so wouldn't charge them, but please leave them a 5 star review online. After we ordered, we saw the other table actually laughing at the quality of the food they had received and not eat much of it. We ordered the meat Mezze platter and it didn't taste quite right. We finished the starter and chose not to order mains, paid our bill and left. A couple of hours later I found I felt very, very unwell. I've been up all night. Vomiting and on the toilet. I think I have food poisoning and still have an after taste in my mouth of the food I ate at Al Bustan. Do not eat here. These reviews do not correspond with my experience or the complaints i saw, yesterday. I can only suspect either the reviews are fake Or this is a new owner of the restaurant hanging onto the coattails of the previous reviews. (looking at the previous photos the decor has changed, even where the counter is and the tables/chairs) You have been warned.

Fantastic food and service. Highly recommend it! As soon they heard my daughter loves bread, we were given a bag of bread to takeaway! Will go back again definitely!

** Had a very bad food positioning from this restaurant affer I ordered falafel with Tahina and Tahina tasted not good . I have been sick now for one week with very bad infectious gastroenteritis suffering from vomiting , diarrhea and abdominal pain and weight loss I wasted one week work as a doctor and this caused me a lot of financial loss I am very disappointed that they don’t adhere in the health and safety measures . This is the best Middle Eastern cuisine (out of the dozen I've been to) I've ever had. I'm not going to recommend any particular dishes. Just tell them what you like and follow their suggestions. You won't regret. I'm not going to describe the flavours either, other than to say that my taste buds had a vibrant festival that day. All the best to the owner's daughter who became a doctor on that memorable Monday.

Food is amazing! I have been there a couple of times but didn't know they have entertainment downstairs, last time I visited I enjoyed listening to the live band too.

Fuimos a Edward Road a comer ya que está lleno de restaurantes libaneses, turcos....que es un tipo de comida que me encanta. Entramos al que vimos con bastante gente y no nos equivocamos. La comida está muy buena, la dueña fue súper agradable y el precio muy correcto. El humus impresionante y la carne, sobre todo el cordero, memorable. Recomendable el Shawarma. Volveremos cuando estemos de nuevo por Oxford street.

I ordered from this restaurant on Uber eats and its by far the worst place I have ordered from. The Portion was so small, and the food was not tasty. Shocked as to why it’s highly rated, it surely fooled me.

Me and my friend felt very unwelcome from the moment we arrived. Our waiter in particular, was rude and irritable. The food was more or less okay (we had lamb shank) but had little salt or seasoning. We decided not to stay long as the service was made us so uncomfortable, but had to wait 30 minutes, asking multiple waiters several times to take our payment for the bill. On each occasion they ignored us and gave no acknowledgement of our request. I eventually had to stand up and approach someone by the stairs before he arranged to take payment. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Pretty horrible food...probably one of the worst quality Lebanese we have eaten in London. The meat was far too salty, the rice was overcooked, and the chips were just soggy and undercooked. I understand now why they offer a 30% discount!
