Akash in Dacorum

Ususally have takeaways from local restaurants. My neighbour recommended the Akash. The food was excellent well cooked abnd on time when I went to collect it. Will definately be usuing the Akash in the future.

We ordered a takeaway, when we got it home the order wasn't complete, the starter we ordered wasn't there. We phoned them to mention this and was told if we ordered the same meal again we wouldn't need to pay for it. Therefore we phoned them the following week to place the order and was told all they would do was to give us the starter that was missing if we collected it. We live about half an hour away so was not happy. Very poor customer service, will not be using them again.

Excellent food, fast delivery and good prices. What more could you ask for from a takeaway? If you’re thinking of getting an Indian in Berko or the surrounding area, this is the place to go

The demise of the New Akash Restaurant was a sadness for all of us on the West of Berkhamsted that had feasted there for many a year. since it closed I've tried everywhere else on the High St since but never have I enjoyed so much as the meal I had tonight from the Phoenix from the Flames that is the Akash take away. The beef curry recommended by the chef is without doubt the best dish I have had in the 30 years I have lived here. Not since I called East London home have I experienced such intense flavours as these. The fact I managed to get two dinners delivered to my door for just £30 must not be overlooked either. It was marvellous. I shall calling again next weekend.

We are regular users of Akash takeaway and the food is always absolutely exceptional. Great flavours, freshly prepared and top quality ingredients.

Fabulous Food ... the 3- different dishes we ordered were great. Not only the taste of the food but the presentation , even in the takeaway containers . I would certainly recommend the Akash !

Get a take away regularly from the AKASH, Farhad and his team create great food. Great service too. If you’re in the area and want an Indian takeaway this is the place to get it from.

Well we used to visit and have takeaways from the New Akash Restaurant , which were always awesome quality. Having atblong last tried the Akash Takeway , I can say it as good as the restaurant was and I’m not sure why I’m surprised , as it’s the same team as far as I know .
