Easily the best curry in Newport.

First time ever ordering and got cut off had to phone back.1hour 30 waiting pompdoms were lush.lamb samosa bland no flavour keema nan no meat terrible. Tikka masala was tomato and could have ate it with pasta no flavour only tomatoes. Keema rice lovely but what a waste of £40 we will stick to Indian cottage in future don’t waste your money very poor lovely delivery driver

Delicious Food , packed with unique taste and staff were very friendly and helpful . Will definitely recommend. Try the Lamb Kohlapuri very tasty

Person on the till barely greeted us, or even looked up from his phone. Didn't give total of order only found out from asking for a receipt. Food was bland watery. No flavour.

Never had a bad curry from here. Staff are just gorgeous! So friendly and really care about your experience with their food. They offer great recommendations and the free bottle of coke always goes down well! Great value for money and stunning food. Stay amazing!!

Unfortunately although the food was excellent we didn't get everything we ordered, after ringing the restaurant and asking for the missing items to be delivered we were assured it would arrive in about 40 minutes, this didn't happen

I had a disappointing experience. Firstly the food had less meat in curry,got soggy onionbaji, resulting in poor quality. Additionally, it seems they're involved in dodgy practices by opening two takeaway with the same address under different names on the Just Eat. DON'T WANNA LOOK INTO THAT.But Overall, not a great choice for a satisfying meal.To add to the frustration, the delivery was excessively late.Going to be choosing to go to switch to other.

Best madras sauce in Newport and the keema nans are huge! Great local place.

Absolutely appalling. Front of house staff were more interested in football than customers and got the order wrong. One item was good and the second serving of the exact same thing was much spicier and missing some ingredients. Despite the convenient location for me I would rather go further for literally anything else.

Ordered through Uber eats, I’ve ordered from the majority of Indian restaurants in Newport, the Ajwa is definitely up there with the best, which are very few ! delivery was 40 minutes, which is fine, food was piping hot, madras was delicious, lamb tikka starter the same, pilau rice nice & fluffy, popadoms nice & crisp , not soggy like quite a few places, big portions too Will definitely be ordering again 👌

Been a while since I've had a takeaway, but probably one of the best Chicken Curries I've had in years. Very impressed with the flavours and quality.

Food was disgusting and service was worse, ordered our meal to be delivered for 7.45 and didn’t arrive till 9. Food was cold and wrong. Will never order from here again absolutely disgusting customer service 🤬😡

Ordered food tonight, food was absolutely delicious, the chicken was fresh and perfectly cooked and so was the lamb madras. The food was delivered quickly and still hot but the driver was too lazy to walk up the stairs to my flat and made me come down and collect it. Will definitely be ordering again from here, probably one of the best chicken tikka curry's ive had from a takeaway.

Just ordered for first time via uber eats... Outstanding quality. Murghi Massala was something else. Definitely our new go to take away...fresh, tasty, loads of chicken and paneer. Only criticism..the keema nan was so thinly spread with filling it was almost not worth having..Will definitely order again tho.

Ordered first time, and will order again. I ordered chicken tikka biryani, tandoori chicken and Murgi nan yesterday. Food quality was really good, it was warm and most importantly was delivered before delivery time.

Went here on the weekend and was pleasently surprised to see the changes that have been made by the new owners, its a lot better than when the previous owners were in charge, food quality was great, friendly staff who were informative, and a great menu with plenty of choice if your a curry lover like me, will definitely be returning.

Until recently this was a fantastic place. Don’t know what’s happened but not going to use again. Garlic rice is not just rice with loads of garlic salt added I have been ordering weekly but couldn’t finish this delivery. Somethings gone very wrong, sorry Raj

Just had takeaway from mint and mango....had several dishes and they all tasted fab. I have eaten and cooked many dishes myself being of Indian descent and would recommend this place based on today's food. Delivery was quick , food still hot and staff very pleasant

Normally have a chicken jalfrezi but went for a madras tonight very disappointing I've had thicker soup hardly any chicken completely tasteless and the small pot of mint sauce wasn't even half full!

Fifth and last time I'll be ordering from here. While the food is lovely it's the second time there's been chicken in my vegetarian curry. Once I can forgive as a mistake, but twice in five orders is really not on. It's a shame as otherwise lovely food and good service.

2 hour wait for delivery. Only one portion of salad for 3 starters. I specifically ordered mango chutney instead of bovine breast milk yoghurt with 2 starters....only one came like this. Food was luke warm and mediocre. Not impressed.

A genuinely delicious take away! We ordered 6 veggie options and each one was different and so full of flavour, really impressed. .we struggle to find decent veg options since quiting meat and this was every bit as good and more. We will be back.
