Lovely spot for coffee and cake. It has a nice outdoor area too for warmer days. The artwork and textiles for sale looked beautiful We stopped here before some years ago before it was expanded and as we were driving through we remembered it was a nice little cafe so revisited. Would go again when in the area

This is a very good and opular cafe in sanquar, but it is under a new name and, I assume, possibly new owners. It is now Cafe A' the Airts.

Stopped her for a cup of coffee on our journey north. We found it friendly and good value. Helpful staff.

Combining a small craft shop with a coffee shop this is a very welcoming place to visit. The cafe menu is modest but well-balanced with a few additional dishes on a daily basis. Mushroom soup was generous and hearty, toasties with bacon & brie were excellent as was the accompanying pot of tea. Service was faultless.

They serve delicious coffee and very nice cake . Lots of little gifts, and interesting art work. The waitress was very helpful in pointing out places of interest to visit in the area. I must say, the loo's were extremely clean, and you cannot say that about a lot of cafes you visit.

We were passing through and were looking for a coffee halt. This gem came into view in this fascinating small town and we enjoyed coffee and fresh scones.

Sanquar is a small Scottish village. It boast to have the smallest and oldest working post office in the world. There are two pubs we visited beside our hotel the ' 'Nithsdale' The villagers were very friendly and made us feel most welcomed I would certainly recommend the Hotel and place. Can't wait to go back and catch up with the many friends we made there

There are a few hidden gems for food in Sanquhar, some real gems too, and this is one not so hidden on the High Street. We have had lunch on 2 occasions so far and on both have been delighted with the food and service. This is definitely worth stopping for and some great local art is on sale which is worthy of browsing while you are here. We will be back.

Friendly, relaxed, flexible and fun. Nick was a brilliant teacher and good company. Took Mother for some quality time together and she was immediately put at ease and we both had a lovely time. Will definitely go again. If you want quality experiences with friends and family AND you want to learn some great life skills to boot then book your place!

This cafe served the worst scone I have ever had / didn't have. (and that's saying something as I'm in my 70s and have had a few in my time. You could build a house with a few of them. Inedible expensive rubbish. It came in a paper bag, no plate and a wooden disposable knife which struggled to cut it. The coffee was served in a paper cup. But was drinkable. Cost over £13 for two coffees and two inedible scones. I am disgusted and will definitely won't be back

Just superb all round - the food [first and foremost] was fantastic! The vibe & atmosphere were spot-on - great music, decor, everything. Will be back for sure - gotta try that Malaysian Curry next! Had the burrito this time, which was awesome! And the Sticky Toffee Carrot Cake… Ummm… Can I have some more, please? Took me far too long to get my bum in the door - won’t be dilly-dallying about for Round 2, I can tell ya that!

Visited the Frothy this morning for the first & very last time as the cafe is closing. Whilst the cafe was comfortable the coffee wasn’t the best ever tasted and we were stunned at the price! Compared to other coffee houses close by it was surprising; could this be a reason they are not finding it profitable?
