Lovely place for food and/or a pint. Great selection of drinks, plenty of options on their menu. Best place around for a Sunday dinner 10/10

One the best Restro-Pubs I have been in a very long time. The staff is super friendly and it feels such personal attention given each time I visit.

As a family, we cherish our weekly night out with our adult daughters. Without fail, we visit the Airedale for the weekly quiz, quiz goujons, drinks, and also enjoy attending the various events held throughout the year. The pub's highlight is being dog friendly, dogs of all breeds and sizes that welcome you with barks, cuddles, and kisses upon arrival, theres not a better place to be. And of course, there's the amazing Ash and the gorgeous staff, who always serve you with a smile and engage in good conversation. I have never taken to a pub like I have to the Airedale. Visiting never feels like a chore, but rather like being at home. Thank you to Ash, Craig, Brett, and all the staff. Stanley's gang (can't say the b word) love you! ❤️

We came here for Mothers Day for a set menu and we were not disappointed! Absolutely smashing food and great portion sizes for the kids too. When it came to paying the bill we were amazed at how low it was for 6 of us including our drinks. It had a great friendly atmosphere and the staff couldn’t be more attentive! We will be coming again and I have already recommended to friends!

First visit today for Sunday lunch. Fantastic food, great servicea and very accommodating management. Loved meeting Simon, Albert & Truffle. Will definitely be back, but next time with our dachshund Desmond!

Slow service and very mediocre food. Waited about 40 minutes for their signature burger - cold, extremely salty. Not for gourmets. A drinkers pub.

Brilliant cozy place to spend evening.

To be fair it was Tuesday tea time and it was empty the beer garden from the bar to the left needs refurbished. Customers were friendly. Only one real ale on tap and it was ehhh, so-so.

Oh, wow. Off the back of a FB recommendation by Richard Tree, we decided to treat my father and also my brothers visiting friend from the US to a nice pub lunch at the Airedale Heifer, Mirfield - I rang ahead to check if we could get a table for half two. As it happened, the doors opened shortly before then and Ashley, the brand new landlady, was on her own, looking after the venue which she had only just taken on board, running the place. She warmly welcomed us, gave us a background to her taking on the venue and then took to the kitchen to cook a monster order we gave her. Me and Paul had the Mega Meat Platter, Carol had the Buttermilk Chicken Burger and Caroline had the five starter dishes deal - a lot of food for the lot of us with any excess heading to dads small plate to nibble at. While the Platters were all incredible, and Carol gave the chicken burger a solid thumbs up, the standout for us was the Fried Cauliflower Wings with Ginger and Soy Sauce - truly moreish and I couldn’t stop picking at them, even when the stunning meats had filled me up (the chicken was a highlight, utterly buttery). The Airedale is a great venue with a cracking bar, a marvellous menu and a very warm welcome: highly, highly recommended.

Shocking, beer we wanted - not available as waiting fot pumps to be cleaned, food - not available as waiting for a delivery tomorrow....then on the selection available....burnt child burger, over cooked gammon, beans cremated, order 3 small dishes and only 2 arrived so asked for another never came, service dreadful- brought kids dishes out and then served drinks 10 mins later rest of food came out dry as a bone. Never going back or recommending

We hadn't been to eat in the Airedale for a year or so and decided to go there for Sunday lunch. I'm really pleased we did. The food was cooked with lots of love an attention. Proper beef, done to a little bit of pink in the middle. Crispy roasties and parsnips, and lovely gravy and cauliflower cheese. Can't fault it. I'm so pleased that this pub has nailed the food again.

It’s just recently reopened since new owners taken over. People mustn’t know it’s reopened because for a Friday night there was barely anybody. Hopefully once people realise it’s open again and businesses picks up it’s as good as it used to be

After driving past The Airdale Heifer a few times and thinking that it looks like areally nice pub, we decided to go for Saturday tea - on arriving there wasn't any cars in the car park which we though "oh dear not a good sign" however we decided to still go in. Lovely welcome from staff, the food we had was really good from the sports bar menu basically burgers and hot dogs, not what I was hoping for having looked at the menu on line !!! would definitely go back though as the food was good quality and very tasty.

Steak absalutly beautiful steak cooked perfect had mega mixed grill was amazing meat ls was perfect service was good as always with rise of prices things cost a little extra but honestly i didnt mind after the food was brung out as it was beautiful defo worth going

No buffet as promised, when watching Queens funeral. Shame really, usually do what they say they will do. Arrived at 10.30am and kids were too hungry to wait any longer, so left at 1345, hungry.

My brother, nephew and I needed to find somewhere to eat at short notice on a Saturday evening. They were able to cook for us and, although it is a chain, and as such, not freshly cooked, it was more than acceptable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was good, though we moved on to find real ale.

Fantastic lunch here! The burgers we received were stunning, highly recommended. Great value for money and very nice service. Very dog friendly too, which is always important. Thanks for a great lunch!

Arrived Sunday about 6 Pm..No food seemed like a local pub for local people. Big TV not especially friendly. Thought in fairness I would give it a second try Friday lunch. But closed.

Great pub with wonderful staff. Had dinner with a large group for my grandmas 92nd birthday, they couldn’t have been more accommodating and the food was delicious. Everyone had a great time especially my grandma. We will be back. Thank you.

Excellent traditional Sunday lunch of very well cooked and presented food. A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant which adds to the dining experence. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Really good place to go in Mirfield for a night out, Wednesday night is quiz night. Good fun all round, bar staff are Excellent. Live music most weekends, we've had a great night here.

Lovely Sunday Dinner and the puddings were delicious(Jam Fritters and homemade Lemon Cheesecake). The place is very clean, drinks prices are reasonable too. The service was great, all the staff were very friendly, helpful and able to accommodate a party of 10+ people.

This was my first visit here with family and we enjoyed a lovely Sunday Roast. 3 courses for £19.95 was excellent value. Large portions, light as air Yorkshires and friendly attentive staff. Although it was busy you didn't feel crowded. Plenty of space around the tables. Will definitely be visiting again.

Delicious Sunday roast. Choice of three meats (turkey, beef and gammon) and Yorkshire puddings like castles. Superb service too. We will definitely be back.

Friendly and spacious pub in Battyeford area of Mirfield. Good local ales on hand pull and several lagers and ciders as well. Wine available also. Good sized beer garden and benches to the rear for better weather times. Ample parking immediately adjacent to pub itself. Accepts card payments. Live music on occasionally, check Facebook for updates.

Music Too noisy and intrusive for me but if it gets punters in........ Just had 1 drink and moved on.

The worst Sunday dinner I’ve had for years !cold soggy veg ,burnt Yorkshire pudding and hardly any pulled beef what the hell who as pulled beef on a Sunday dinner !! Very disappointed

Having eaten a couple of times at Airedale Heifer with mixed opinions, we were encouraged to order the Mixed Grill Sharer and we were not disappointed. The shear amount of meat on offer is a delight to the meat-eaters among us. We would highly recommend the platter for anyone yearning for a good fill of meat suitable for 2 hungry people but would arguable fill 3. The meat on offer was well cooked and tasty with a good array of accompaniments. In addition to the sharing board, the Black Pudding Scotch Egg was a nice accomplice to the meat platter with a light batter, rich black pudding and perfectly cooked egg center.We would however say to stick to these parts of the menu as other orders made were disappointingly average. The Mushroom Pepper Pot starter resembled more of a peppery, mushroom soup, with a thin peppercorn sauce drowning a selection of soggy mushrooms. The "healthy' option gammon came no different to the gammon on the mixed grill and disregarding the seasonal veg in place of chips we question this as a "healthy" option due to the cooking style of the meat.The service was OK, once our orders were taken the meal arrived promptly. However, despite the bear minimum the staff seemed to spend most of their time talking to one table on a personal level, lacking attentiveness to the needs of several other tables requiring drinks etc.The pub has a nice relaxed atmosphere and on the night we visited a local folk music group congregated in the corner of the pub which created a nice buzz in the pub.The beers on offer were excellent and brewed in the Bridgehouse Brewery which is to the rear of the pub. For lovers of Tequila and Ale the "Tequila Blonde" is a crisp blonde ale infused with Tequila and lime.

Classic Coca Cola available, better than most places around these days. I don't drink alcohol, so I need a pub that sells a variety of soft drinks, preferably without artificial sweetener.

We visited The Airedale Heifer on recommendation from a friend and we weren’t disappointed. We went for Sunday lunch. My Mum had a full Sunday lunch and my son and I had the Sunday lunch baguette with roast potatoes and gravy. It was all delicious. We also all had desserts. The environment was clean, nice decor and easily accessible for my Mum who has mobility problems. There is car parking on site and lovely beer gardens. The staff were all friendly and really welcoming. The food was well priced and great to be able to get a good dessert that doesn’t double the cost of the meal. I was also impressed to see that dogs can be taken in too. I would recommend here to eat, I’ll definitely return with my family including my chocolate Labrador.

Went for lunch with family and found a really nice welcome. The staff were helpful and the food was great especially the ice cream Sundae Heifer which I got the normal size just glad I didn’t ask for a large one.

Four of us went as a treat for one of my nieces' birthday. What a let down! I'm sad to write this poor review as I've been several times before and have loved it, recommended it to friends and family and given it 5 stars on Trip Adviser previously. After Betty's in Harrogate it was my favourite place for afternoon tea. The landlady who is so friendly and attentive was not around so I don't know if this had anything to do with the disappointing experience. The delicious bread which has always been thick and crusty was thinly cut so lost the crusty element. The toppings although tasty enough were just not presented well as they have been before for example my ploughman's certainly had no Apple on and was topped with 4 small celery batons which had been placed together on top - all sandwiches looked as if they'd been thrown together with no care. The scones were chocolate chip - I didn't even know they existed! Where were the sultanas? Somehow didn't go with jam and cream. The cake was nice as before so no complaint there. Someone did come over to remove some plates but we were not offered hot water to top up our teapots so there was no 'unlimited' tea as advertised. I had a pot to myself as I prefer Earl Grey but the other three ladies shared one pot between them so not much tea there! Although the staff were not unpleasant there was no welcome and they were not attentive. What a shame as I have previously heaped so much praise on the afternoon tea but after this visit I wouldn't recommend again!

Went there for our wedding anniversary. There is a good choice on the menu and service was good and friendly. I had the 8 hour braised shin which was tasty, just a little over seasoned

Unfortunately my visit was to attend a funeral buffet the staff we're really kind and understanding the buffet faultless many thanks to all involved highly recommend this establishment
