Delicious dessert and the quality is 10/10. The fruits on my dessert were really fresh and the waffle was nice and warm. The customer service is great, they were very helpful and kind. I also had the fresh juice and smoothie, they were absolutely amazing. Will definitely come again!!

Delicious food, friendly staff. I would recommend Faluda from Afters, I like it without rose water.

I ordered a caramel frappe to my house and unfortunately I spilt half of it. It really ruined my evening. I rang up and explained what had happened and if they were kind enough to give me another and I was told to collect it from the store. Honestly I was surprised they were so lovely about it Once I got there Zahid asked what happened and I showed him the photo of my spilt coffee, he was really nice and prepared my drink, then put it in a takeout bag for me with tissues completely free of charge! 100% recommend this place, so friendly and the frappe was delicious

Standards seem to have dropped, and portion sizes have gone smaller. Quite disappointed with recent uber eats order. The regular sized milk shakes aren't regular size anymore, they are small, literally half the size of a large. Won't be ordering again.

Ordered chocolate strawberries today with a juice. The strawberries were super stale - I dont know how this place is still open. Gone downhill and can’t keep up with the competition from other dessert stores on ilford lane. Left a star for the juice as that was decent.

Always come here for my milkshakes & falooda. No one makes a thick shake like Afters.

I recently visited AFTERS and was disappointed with my experience. While the desserts were tasty, I was shocked to find that I was charged double the listed price for my order. This was a significant inconvenience and left a sour taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally,cannot recommend this establishment to others until they improve their pricing transparency and customer service.

So good must visit if you have a sweet tooth. Cash and card excepted

Order from Uber eats. Waffle topping missing. X2 bubble gum scoop missing. Mars shake. Instead of mixing it in blender. Left the whole Mars bar in it. Very bad service, whoever served deserve a slap for putting the business down to this low level. Delivery driver not at fault for this.

MAY 2024 - Under new management. The new boys have cleaned this place up big time. Used to have cockroaches and run by a disgusting set of people. New guys have turned this place around and they literally have the best milkshakes available on the market!

Quality of the dessert was 10/10. Definitely recommend for others !!

I went here with my sister and we both got waffles with strawberries and bananas and icrecream. My one was good, however, while my sister was eating she found a hair which she lifted and checked if it actually was a hair. And in fact it was, and while all of this was happening the guy at the till looked at us and smiled… and he walked away. Me and my sister were shocked because he ignored the situation and chose to walk away. Then we called him and he said they will bring us another one as a replacement (which is a mistake we did because we should have just gotten a refund). While waiting i look at the same waffle again and I find another long hair and this time it wasn’t just in top of it but it was literally tangled with the chocolate and straberries. (Pictures) When we confronted the girl who made our orders and served us and told her we found another hair in that same plate, we both saw that she got angry at us instead of apologising. We suggested to wear a chef hat to avoid contamination and maintain food quality but as mentioned before, the waitress got angry at us and started saying non sense excuses (she said “yesterday was busy” how is that even related to today?) and never apologised. I am not sure if I will go back.

I had sent my little sister into Afters in Ilford lane whilst I parked my car. She had ordered 3 milkshakes however the indian woman heard she wanted 4. When I had come into the shop, the payment was already made and only 2 milkshakes were blended and prepared. I asked the woman if she could refund me the payment for one of the milkshakes but she rudely said no as the ingredients were already prepped. I argued that she had not blended the ingredients yet therefore she can refund me however she didn't accept this. I was very unhappy with the service and just accepted to take the order. I don't think this was very proffesional and I didn't appreciate her rude manner. This was very easy to mend but she chose not too. This isn't the first time I have had an issue with this branch. They have made severeal mistakes in the past with my uber eats orders and have refused to refund me. Not sure how they are still running a bussiness with such horrible service.

The customer service is really bad you have to wait or call them to take order and when they come they show tantrums. The waiters just sat there giving dirts throughout the time as we asked her provide us with the menu. The quality of the kulfi they use is really bad. Ordered falooda it was watery and has used vanilla ice cream. Terrible quality and taste go and eat desert at other places than ilford afters. Last time we went there was a hair but we ignore by saying it’s a human error but this place is just not a good vibe, totally unhygienic or has quality food or kulfi. I guess I won’t be going to them as they are idiots, treat you like they are giving charity even though you’re paying FULL PRICES. Rude staff! So guys please choose your place for dessert wisely

Their desserts compare to the rest. Very good quality desserts and affordable. Great and friendly service. The young lad is a gem! He was very speedy with the service. We could see with ourselves and everyone else, as soon as someone had entered he had handed over menus. So respectful! He deserves a bonus!!!

Rude and illiterate staff. They behave like we're not paying for anything. If you ask them for a little favor like if u can put ur phone on charge, they'll straight away say no. Wouldn't recommend for a comfortable dine-in experience

This place is a joke the workers don’t even know half the items on the menu you actually have to point out what ingredients they need to use asked for a Apple twist juice and the women behind the counter were clueless what I ended up with was a very thick ice like drink that wasn’t sweet or drinkable at all what a waste of money never again!

Variety of choice for icecreams for kids and toppings. Generous amount but not worth the price. flavours don't taste as they should be.

Cash only. Its year 2023 not 2003. Karak chai not great. Few doors down Cha Wala is much better. The whole place looks steamed up and tired. The Falooda was not great. Spent £40 and felt it was worthy of half the amount. The whole experience is ok. But in this competitive market, ok no longer cuts the mustard. White chocolate sauce on menu but item not available....erm as a dessert place I think white chocolate sauce should be an absolute must. But hey ho never mind.

They don’t have any card payment facilities. Saving money from HMRC. There is no free cash point on ilford lane. Tough to get a parking !! Service is good but the big issue is only cash payment.

Missing 2x items. Deaf Nob head on the phone was taking the p***. Admitted they forgot the cheesecakes then said he gave it to driver after I refused to come pick up the items they forgot to give. Then told me to place another order with them and they will resend the missing items with that order. Extremely unhappy with this restaurant and service. Ruined my whole evening with friends. Terrible restaurant, will not be ordering or recommending this tutti place.

Kept pointing at us and told us to hurry up to order. 0 customer service and idek how it tastes actually cause we left after that attitude from their "customer service assistant". Came at 7.15pm today so whoever the manager is should find out and have a chat with this employee and teach them some manners Thanks.

Shockingly rude customer service. “Cash Only” if you decide to walk-in and if you are pay with card the manager will lecture you on why it’s good to “download Uber app and order online else pay cash”!! Left without ordering seemed the “asian blonde” guy was either owner or someone related to him… Never going back.

I went in yesterday evening and as my son has nut allergy asked for allergen list I had a man point to the allergen emoji on the wall. I asked which of the ice cream contained nuts and he looked at me for few seconds then walked away presuming he was going to find out I waited then approached a female member of staff behind till with same questions. They do not have a allergy menu/list etc and can't tell me which product contains what. She eventually said we could purchase vanilla soft scoop. I appreciate that allergens are difficult to control but I wasn't expecting this. I have visited a few restaurants since his diagnosis and they have been very accommodating. I don't expect any guarantees but I was given the impression that they were not prepared to serve me any food at all. Its such a shame as my son was really looking forward to it. Went to buy ice cream for my son. Was told was cash only. I had to get cash then returned. Purchased the whippy ice-cream but tasted awful. It wasn't creamy at all. It was very icey almost like a sorbet. Wouldn't purchase again. Milkshakes are definitely much better than the ice-cream

Their hygiene standard are disgraceful. The young lady preparing waffles was wearing no gloves and picked sliced banana with her acrylics. Hair was not tied up and no gloves. Its a shame because this place used to be our go to.

Ordered sweet Belgium waffle. It was tiny and rock hard. Showered with nuts. Overall the presentation made it look not appetising. I paid £7.40 for that.

Wow this place has gone down and down

I was always an afters customers and have been for years never had a problem. But today I ordered a cheesecake with 2 large twin milkshakes. Shockingly as I was about to open the cheesecake plastic container there was an alive cockroach walking freely in the box.very disappointed I can’t believe afters standards could drop this low their food hygiene was good up until now. There must be infestation of cockroaches in the restaurant for sure.

Very rude staff. We went afters with few friends thinking as same standard as others. However the man with long hair and tall lady tend to be rude and arrogant. The food quality was also not satisfactory.

Ordered 3 milkshakes and 1 Kulfa via just eat…3 milkshakes gets delivered but no Kulfa which is worth £10 and tell the delivery driver at the point of delivery…he says he doesn’t know anything and to call the restaurant…tried calling them several times but no answer whatsoever!!! Just eat should strike them off

The fruit dessert and Netula were quite lovely and fresh. It was busy, as anticipated, but management needed to lower the volume of the Television to create a reasonable environment for interactions. We struggle to understand what the order taker is saying as the noise from the Television is high. However, the street is quite busy, and there is a gas station close by. I will recommend the Afters - Ilford for after Lunch or supper.

Idiots must work here. I ordered a waffle and it came DRENCHED in Nutella. The next time I try to get a simple waffle I ask them to not drench it and a simple light layer. See photo of the idiocy. I ordered mixed nuts it's on the ice cream and not the waffle? I don't understand this place. Never ordering here again.

Rubish Service, all mess due to food packing, Not recommend and waste of money

Oh my god! Literally! I was attempting to order through Uber eats but there was no option to choose ice cream flavours for the waffles so then I drove, did I say drove yes I drove all the way to the shop which took me 15mins. And so when the order came the size of the waffle was so small (size of an eyeshadow palette- the small ones) that my 7 year old finished the whole thing without leaving me any. And the image shown was a giant waffle decorated with all the toppings. I am truly dissatisfied and disappointed!! Never going back! Utterly ridiculous! FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS!!!! I don’t know how to explain it but it’s ridiculous

Love that ice cream parlour. There Alot of verities of yummy tasty sweet dishes.. One thing they should add in their services and that are pay by phone/card. The Cash only facility is not enough, and in High Street, there is not a single ATM machine..

My cookie dough came it took 30minutes and also I couldn’t eat it as there was so much oil don’t go there people there unhygienic don’t even wear gloves and the manager had his foot on the counter after just coming in from smoking a cigarette didn’t even wash his hands one of the workers made me and my cousin feel very uncomfortable as she was watching us eat

I’ve seen reviews about how some customers received their desserts after delivery but I honestly think that had it been in store it would have looked the same- Dirty sticky menus- had to pull pages apart - the chairs had some brown smears on the couch - hoping it was chocolate sauce- ordered cookie dough and what I received was something that looked like it had been run over by a bus and then had some watery brown stuff splattered in the middle- the cookie was warmed in a microwave and put onto a cold skillet. Never seen such bad desserts- when telling the staff that this isn’t cookie dough they explained that it was a desi style cookie dough - yep that’s what he said! This was Ilford! I will leave you with a picture- if you really dislike someone then you may want to take them here.

WORST EXPERIENCE for me - I ordered falooda Sunday night. Before ordered I asked staff(Asian lady) like is that all are fresh, if it's not fresh please recommend another one because I'm pregnant I don't want to take a risk, she said no all are fresh. Literally within 3-4mins they prepared and gave me. I tasted 2 spoons only, It was horrible taste and I saw the piece of soaked cardboard in that, the ice cream was awful taste and the semya was so hard. Around after 2 hrs I got too much stomach ache and I feel my tummy was so hard, i can't even move sometime. Please don't sell like this, especially for pregnant womens and kids

One of the best dessert shops in town. You gotta try the hot chocolate and get it specially made by Lucifer. Hands down the best at what he does. Would highly recommend him when it comes to desserts. I’ve never tasted a hot chocolate like that in my life.
