Absolutely amazing experience. The food was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Higly recommend the mix grill and the baklava for dessert. Will definitely be coming back.

Came as a party of 7 last night, waited absolutely ages to get served. Once the food finally arrived it was lovely, but the price of soft drinks is bad. £5 for a glass of lemonade/sprite is way too much in my opinion. When the bill came they'd put just over £15 service charge on top and the service was terrible. We all added up individually and paid our money and then because we asked to remove the service charge the waiter said we hadn't paid enough and demanded quite abruptly for an extra £11 odd. We checked the bill twice and they have cheated us. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID Hope that they don't do this to anyone else.

Came here with family. 7 of us (including 3 kids) without a reservation on a Saturday evening and they catered well for us when there was no space in other nearby restaurants. Service was friendly and quick and the food was delicious.

I almost didn't come here because I saw a bad review about the food being raw, but there was a lunch deal on, two courses for £13.95 so thought I'd give it a go and I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere is beautiful, modern and spacious with a middle eastern twist, the waiter was very friendly and welcoming and the food was phenomenal, very fresh and flavourful. We will definitely be back to try more from the menu, thank you :)

Amazing restaurant to visit if you can, the food was incredible and I would recommend the Steak to anyone who loves a decent steak. Staff were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Maybe more of a selection on the Cider would help us Celiac sufferers, but saying that the red wine was very nice.👍

Absolutely beautiful! Excellent service and excellent food. Had a meal here now at least 10 times but decided to book for our Christmas do which was last night, 6 of us in total and again; really superb service, all staff really satisfied. People should really try this place, the food is great and its a big restaurant to fill, it would be a shame to lose it! Please get booking in. Thanks again for a lovely meal - we'll be back.

We have visited Afiyet with my partner and we love it. They have warm welcoming and nice staffs. We have ordered the Afiyet Sharing Platter and one King prawns and one Afiyet chef’s special. Absolutely delicious. We will come back.

Shocking service on a Saturday night. Booked as a party of 6 at 6PM for my partners birthday (was mentioned on the booking). Arrived at 6 and seated without menus for 10 mins. Then waited 40 minutes for a drink order, we should have walked out at that point. Waited another 25 mins to have our food order taken, that we had to ask for. During this time, other tables had been sat after us and already had their food before us! 30 minutes later our server came over and told us a starter we ordered was no longer available, because the last one had gone to a table they sat after us! All the server could do was quietly say sorry and offer us a drink. You are quite clearly severely understaffed and lack no training schemes, customer service ability or organisation. There wasn’t a sniff of a manager present. The server was robotic, no chat just asked us what we want and walked away. The food is average at best and certainly not worth the high price point you are charging for them. During the time we were there a table had walked out and 3 others complained about the food wait - some were waiting before we even got there and we were there for 2 and a half hours! This place needs a drastic change and some proper management or you’ll be closing up shop soon or losing what little members of staff you currently have.

Afiyet in Stockport, Red Rock area, is an amazing restaurant We actually live in Oxford & go up 3 or 4 times a year to see our son We always go to Afiyet on one of the nights we are there Their menu is vast & caters for all tastes including Vegetarian You can have Turkish or English food This time we had Lamb shank with fresh vegetables & I had grilled chicken with mixed green salad & dips Was delicious 😋 Followed by scrumptious desserts You can mix & match , if there's something you don't like The staff are so friendly & attentive Its lovely & warm in there, which is a change from some restaurants in the winter The decor is light & modern & tastefully set up They also have a lovely bar area too Maybe you can just pop in for few drinks or cocktails too The 2 amazing waiters that we've had are Ali & Varda

This was an amazing experience, customer service was excellent Food was excellent, this is the first time we have been to this restaurant and would definitely recommend it, the atmosphere was good and good music (background) 🎶 I don't think it was over priced, I had seabass with vegetables cooked to perfection my husband had lamb shank which just melted in your mouth it was delicious

Dropped in for a casual birthday lunch. Food was excellent and service very friendly and helpful. We had brought our own cake which was served by the waiter to the sound of ‘happy birthday’ on the PA

When we got there, the entire restaurant was empty. We asked and the waiter explained it’s just because of the school going back in. We accepted this as a possibility and ordered. The starters came but unfortunately they was slightly underwhelming. We just hoped the food we had ordered for mains would be better. The sea bass my partner had was greasy, the potatoes were obviously microwaved or not fresh and I didn’t even touch my burger as it looked like a fatter rustlers burger. Spent £57 to be told that we couldn’t have a refund on the inedible fish. They apparently DO NOT have a refund system on their till. Date night ruined with my long distance relationship and has completely ruined the evening. Was offered more fish but we obviously declined. Never been so unhappy with food before. What a joke.

Visited here as part of a family booking of 8 for my father in laws birthday last weekend. The restaurant was a nice looking place and very quiet for a Saturday afternoon, there were a couple of tables outside and just us inside. Initial service for drinks and food orders taken quickly. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. When the food was delivered, the first plate was wrong and wasn’t what had been ordered. Apologies were made and it was took back, I guess these things can happen. However, the rest of the food then came in stages, meaning 3 of us were still waiting on meals while everyone else was waiting to start eating. I don’t understand why on a quiet Saturday afternoon, food couldn’t be ready to be served to a table together. It resulted in the rest of us having to start eating or it would have been cold by the time everyone else’s arrived. It eventually all turned up, and to the restaurants credit, they gave us the incorrect meal they had brought earlier as a freebie. The food itself looked lovely, well presented, and was tasty enough. Not the best I’ve had though, particularly given the price. The prices here are , in my opinion, very expensive. For the 3 of us that came from our party it was £100 for what were essentially 3 kebabs with one serving of chips and a drink each. No starters /deserts etc. The restaurant also add on a service charge which was an additional £25 on the bill, although the waiter did say it wasn’t compulsory. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, given how quiet it was in there, service was poor, food and drink expensive for what it is.

I thought this place was great to be honest. Four adults, five kids. Kids ate free, host was super friendly and helpful, food was good. Kids food was good. Top stuff.

Had an excellent Meze, the service was great. My Daughter and I throughly enjoyed the experience. We will definitely be there again. Thank you !!

This is such a lovely place! We took advantage of the lunch menu, which is reasonably priced, and the food was amazing. Added a portion of pita bread and I enjoyed a glass of White Zinfandel. The service was brilliant and we didn't wait long for our food or drinks. I'll definitely be visiting again!

We ate here today and the food was absolutely lovely! There is a wide choice across the menu and we had a few dishes from it which were all so well cooked and flavoured. We would definitely visit again!

Great family meal, 7 adults and four kids served in double quick time, everyone happy nice friendly staff, great variety of dishes, staff did the birthday cake thing for our 6 yr old. Will come again soon the food was fantastic.

My pasta was perfect, I wish they had an option for three pastas small size so I can taste the others without being full. The burger was delicious and I wouldn’t change nothing with it but add caramelised onions instead of raw. The steak I wish was better quality, it did taste a a little tough. Presentation for all dishes was top tier and finally my server Ali was such a gentleman. The price point matches so I would definitely come again.

Severe tree nut reaction to food that caused immediate vomiting. Restaurant had nothing to say besides denying there were any nuts in their food. Terrible customer service and terrible choice for any group with food allergies.

I am over from France visiting friends, so they suggested this new restaurant in Stockport, The restaurant was lovely clean, the staff were so attentive, It was a quiet Tuesday evening The presentation of the food was outstanding I had a chicken salad and sweet potato fries,the quality and freshness was really super. The downside was being charged £5.00 for a diet coke which I feel is robbery for a soft drink, All the soft drinks on the bill really added up . On the whole the experience was great

Went in today whilst passing through Red rock for the two course lunchtime menu for me and my wife. The service was first class and very frrindly. The food was fantastic in both quality, taste and variety. We ordered cheese roll starter and Halloumi and warm bread, the presentation and dips etc were lovely. For mains I had a peri peri chicken skewer with lovely rice, salad and thin home made wrap underneath with 2 lovely dips, my wife had Pollo pasta with mushrooms and parmesan all lovely alongside 2 beautiful Pina Coladas.. All for under 42 quid including Cocktails.

We visited here on the 29th. Ot has a lovely atmosphere the food tasted delicious and was Well presented. The service was great and good value for money. We had the lunchtime deal .Recommend a visit here you won't be disappointed.

Fresh and flavoursome! 5 of us dining and each had a different meal. Really tasty chicken and lamb dishes. Cocktails were overpriced so we just stuck to beers and ciders which was a bit of a let down. Definitely be back for food though 😋

Very expensive food with little taste to it. The best thing about the restaurant are the drinks which are all delicious and well made. However, main courses are very expensive (£20+) for what is a very bland taste. The food is not bad, but there are definitely much cheaper and better alternatives in Stockport and even on the same street. Overall, I was disappointed by my meal despite how beautiful the interior was. The desserts were just okay.

Good food but one waiter for the entire restaurant, which was fully booked. We waited an hour and a half for food and missed the table reservation at the bar we were going to.

I'm really not sure how this place has scored so highly as our experience really wasn't that good. The seafood platter amounted to nothing more than a few Turkish style dips and sauces with 'seafood' straight from an Iceland party pack: fishcake, a handful of filo prawns and squid rings. The price was excessive for what was essentially a picky tea with a vague eastern Mediterranean theme!

Excellent food, lambs chops were especially good, everyone ate well, portions a decent size too so some came home with us. Service was attentive, really surprised how quiet it was given how nice it was.

This is a brilliant restaurant. We found it by default, the first time we ate here. Really glad we did. We ate there again, for the second time last night, as we were in Stockport. This time it was our 'choice'. The food is amazing, especially the seafood meze - you have to try it! Portions are generous. Service is impeccable. We would not FOR A SECOND hesitate in recommending this restaurant.

This is a lovely restaurant, and something that Stockport Town Centre really needs. We had a beautiful meal and could not fault a thing. The service was exceptional and the food was cooked to perfection, very tasty and well presented. It wasn't busy for a Wednesday evening and more people should give this place a try. We will certainly return and recommend to others. We are looking forward to our next visit already.

Went for a Christmas meal with work, what a mistake that was!!!! We preordered a week before we came, yet staff still couldn't cope. Granted there were 26 of us, but only 1 waiter looking after our table and no urgency in the kitchen led to a 45 minute wait between our 1st main being served and the last. Portions were tiny, way over priced and an £80 service charge was forced onto our bill, despite the complete lack of service. I will never return.

Avoid at all costs, horrendously overpriced, I have never experienced.such slow service(or lack of) in my life. We were here for our Christmas meal and there were 26 of us (preordered our meals a week ago) it took 45 minutes from the 1st meal to the last one to be delivered to the table. Portions are tiny, everyone left hungry. now onto Spoons for a beer and a burger for better food and service.

We visited this lovely restaurant for a work social event and the food and atmosphere were excellent would highly recommend the gentleman was extremely pleasant and couldn’t do enough for us there was a slight mix up with our bill but this was corrected immediately and dealt with in a professional manner will definitely return

Decided to give this place a try for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. The service was great, the man who I’m assuming is the manager was very polite and helpful and even treated us to a little hummus and bread board. We only had a small meal but the garlic bread and lamb chops were definitely the standouts in terms of food. The decor is also very nice and classy. Will be returning to try more from the grill in the future!

Ate here today for the first time. Very high quality food, service and decor. Best Turkish restaurant in Manchester by a country mile. On the menu it looks expensive but with the portion sizes and sharers it’s good value for money with groups of 2+

Visited last night and had a lovely meal. We had the Afiyet sharing platter to start which was amazing and then the mixed kebab for mains. The meat was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender. Couldn’t fault it. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Just a shame it’s not busier and more people aren’t supporting it. It was our second visit and we will definitely be back.

Rare date night was made 10X better! Food was some of the best we’ve ever eaten we’ve told everyone about how good it was! Staff were absolutely amazing so friendly and respectful, couldn’t believe how quiet it was for a Saturday night with how gorgeous everything here is!! Also very reasonably priced my husband and I can’t wait to come back!

There were six of us at the table. Only one other table was occupied on a Tuesday evening. We ordered mixed starters which were fine. They were out of garlic breads apparently. We had four mixed grills, a burger and chips, and an aubergine dish. Although the vegetarian food was OK, the meat dishes were poor. The meat cuts were dry as a bone, tough as nails. It was either yesterdays meat re-heated, or fresh meat cooked so badly as to remove all moisture and texture. The buger was described by my colleague as "worse than a Rustlers". One bite of the burger was enough. Five nearly full plates of food were collected from the table with no apology. I was told by the waiter that the food must be OK because the other table had not complained. We left at the same time as the other table. A conversation with them confirmed that their opinion of the food was the same as ours, they just ate more of it and didn't complain. We bought two bottles of admittedly quite nice Malbec, plus beers, and the food. The four mixed grills alone came to £100 and the total food bill exceeded £300. The waiter eventually gave us a refund on the "burger" but refused any further accomodation. Not recommended.

Great lunchtime menu - two courses for £10.00. Excellent food and service. Sadly we were the only two in the restaurant. I sincerely hope it gets busier - support your local businesses

Sadly, the restaurant was too busy for the 3 members of staff they had serving. We had a table booked for 7, drinks ordered at 7:15, turned up at 7:25. Starters came at a good time, but it took them 20 minutes to remove them. The mains turned up at 8:25 - 1 hour and 25 minutes after we sat down. The lamb shish was a little chewy but edible. Sadly, I think the night was let down but the lack of staff. Might return for a second chance, but won't be my main choice.

On arrival the bar looked promising. But sadly, the establishment is all fit voat no knickers. Ordered a mocktail, priced at £8 so thought they must be special, also ordered an £11 bramble. It was not a bramble, did not look like a bramble, did not taste like a bramble. The bar tender made me another, which was still awful. Then I was brought the menu and explained what goes into one. Drank them all my life. In the end, after an uncomfortable exchange it was taken off the bill. Would not recommend.

I went here with my partner for lunch before the cinema on a Sunday afternoon. It's a lovely looking place but was fairly quiet. Our food was lovely and the portions a good size. We stayed for desert too. Staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back. I recommend you give it a try, the music was good too!

Discriminatory destination for the undiscerning diner. The place looks okay but clearly targets a particular type. Looking for somewhere to take my mother for an early dinner we tried this place. Menu looked OK so we ordered a seafood mezze platter. This consisted of 4 small dips, 2 pita breads, some olives, fresh from a jar, and the "seafood". The dips were broadly acceptable. The hummus and the yoghurt were OK. Tasted like any supermarkets deli product. The eggplant was nice. The pepper dip was heavily, mouth puckeringly over-vinegared Then the seafood. Oh the seafood! There were 2 pieces each of battered frozen calamari, one 'fishcake" each and a "tempura prawn". The fishcake was a smiley face away from a potato smile. Barely 1% fish. The calamari was edible though not fresh. The tempura appeared to be missing a prawn. Either that or it had died in the paleolithic age and subsequently dug up as a fossil before being battered and fried. Brick hard. The waiter asked how the food was, so I told him. He explained patiently that tempura Prawns were traditionally fried until hard. I asked from which part of Japan that tradition came. He said, with authority and somewhat patronisingly that Turkish tempura was a different dish. I asked which part of Turkey the dish came from, being familiar with Anatolia, Ankara, the Marmara, Istanbul, the Goreme valley, the Aegean seaboard Cappadoccia, and a few other areas. In none of the areas or cities I have ever visited, do they serve their seafood destroyed. He shrugged and walked off. One star removed for food, one star removed for service. On the point of service, another star is removed for ageism. At 5 pm the restaurant was empty apart from an office party of about 16, intent on getting a wobble on. On entry the waiter asked if we had a reservation. We said "no, he directed us to a small table for 2 well away from the door or the windows. I complied though the window banquette seat looked more welcoming. I figured that with only 2 of us, the banquette for 6 would be wasted. Two more mature couples arrived and again, having no reservation were put onto pokey distant tables. Both couples, after initially complying, stood up and moved their cutlery to nicer tables. We should have done the same. After about half an hour, a young couple, sashayed in. Again no reservation, but after pulling his eyes away from the exposed DD rack where the young lady stashed her candy pink vape, ushered them towards the 6 seater banquette in the window, where she cheerfully flicked her dyed hair and glued her chewing gum to the underside of the table. They ordered diet coke and surreptitiously tipped their quarter bottle of vodka into it, again under the table. So another star removed for discrimination On the good side, the toilets were clean and nice. And the chairs were very comfortable. So one star above rock-bottom for those. Great place to go if you want to get out of the rain, but don't order food. Apparently it's okay to bring your own alcohol too, if you are in the target demographic. Though they were a bit sneaky there so it might not be encouraged. It's next door to pizza express, which, though not gourmet at least offers value for money. Maybe give that a whirl if you are hungry. It's where went next, to fill up!

Edit: I returned several times now and the food is delicious, the staff is still really friendly and happy to recommend dishes when asked. I really like this place and highly recommend. The staff is really lovely and the hummous really tasty. We were short on time but will come back again to try a full meal.

To be honest the food is delicious but the portion is small, we were looking for family big portions as other restaurants serve, the prices also little bit high. But the food is one of the best grills i've tried.

We went around 3pm and it was very quiet. We were seated in a nice comfy booth, the decor is quite stylish. Food and service were great. Another good addition to Stockport town centre.

Family meal for a group of 8. Staff were very welcoming and the place looks great. I was initially a bit concerned as not many people were present….but this soon changed Staff were great, welcoming and very attentive….informed food was halal Food was served pretty quickly…..garlic butter prawns are a must for starters….the butter was amazing….lamb shank was great and the mixed grill was good too…..great classy venue …you won’t be disappointed
