Great food. Authentic. Reasonably priced given portion size of the main. Friendly staff. Music was a bit loud when sat under speaker. Definitely recommend this one.

2nd visit after a 4 year gap (First review below). Don't no why I left it so long as the food seemed even better and with bigger portions than last time. Everything looked and tasted fresh and delicious. We went for lunch on a Saturday just after opening so wasnt many customers in nevertheless the service was outstanding. Would highly recommend anyone who likes Turkish grill. Great food, good people, fast and polite service and super price. What more can you ask for. We'll recommend

The food they serve, is really delicious and authentic. However there is considerable delay in serving the food but can't complain as it's a busy place and I realize they don't have any other competitors around that area. I would suggest them to appoint more staffs to deal the rush hours.

We were planning to go to an Indian restaurant but we're dropped off outside Afat's grill, the smell of the food was very tempting and I have always liked Turkish cuisine. My daughter had never tried it so we went in. Got a table for two straight away, very attentive and welcoming staff. The food was delicious, the portions very generous and the menu was to suit every taste. We also loved the decor with classic Turkish paintings and beautiful lamps, very warm and cosy atmosphere. Would love to go again, my daughter is now a fan too. I would highly recommend.

Hands down the best take away in chesterfield. From the hellim, to the kebabs, to the gorgeous turkish rice. Tried another turkish restaurant but it wasn't anywhere near a tasty as afats

Absolutely amazing food I always have the mixed grill expect to pay £20 to £30 per person but we'll worth it portions are very generous and if your in Chesterfield for the night you won't be drinking much after meals are very filling

I recently visited **Afat's Grill** in Chesterfield with my office colleagues, and the chicken was incredible! Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was great for a group outing. Highly recommend for anyone who loves grilled chicken!

Absolutely blown away by the food and the quality . Delivery slightly late so could have been a touch hotter, but still very very nice. First time ordering and would definitely order again . The lamb kebab dish with rice was beautiful ♥️

This was our first visit. A great restaurant, great food and friendly attentive service. It was someone's birthday whilst we were there and the whole restaurant joined in with a Turkish take on the Happy Birthday song. Will return.

Was craving a hot meal after a long hike at Peak District. I had the Adana and it was superb, both portion and taste-wise. I had the Halloumi starter as well which was delicious. Staff are nice and very friendly. Definitely would love to go there again.

We were a group of 14 and all our food came out quickly. No need to have starters as the portions of both starters and mains were massive.

I recently dined at Afat’s and was absolutely blown away by both the food and the service. The quality and portion sizes of the dishes were exceptional. We tried the spicy chicken thighs, the kids’ shish, and the lentil soup, all of which were delicious and generously portioned. The lady who served us was incredibly kind and attentive. She offered extra Turkish delights when she saw how much my toddler enjoyed them and even gave him an extra chocolate stick for saying thank you. This lovely gesture, combined with the overall warm and welcoming atmosphere, made our visit truly special. We will definitely be returning. Lovely place, lovely people. Highly recommended!

I usually enjoy the meals from your establishment, but my recent experience was quite disappointing. There was a piece of plastic in our lamb dish, which is unacceptable. Additionally, the bread was stale and overly chewy, suggesting it had been reheated. We had to discard it. The salad also did not appear as fresh as we have come to expect from your restaurant. This was very disappointing, especially given our previous positive experiences with your service.

Best takeaway in Chesterfield! Thisnis my go to for a treat. Food is always amazing and never had an issue with delivery. we always order 2 starters and the mixed grill between 2 people and its more than enough.

10 ladies descended on Afat’s to celebrate my birthday last Tuesday. There were a couple of other groups in so there was a nice atmosphere. Service was really good, especially the guy in charge, and the food was amazing. If you didn’t eat it all and wanted to take it home they had proper takeaway containers. They even let us have a cake that my friend made and brought it out to us with the old embarrassing happy birthday bit in front of everyone (I love it really). Everyone had a fantastic time and it’s reasonably priced too. I definitely recommend it.

Best food in town! Always clean, fresh and delicious food. Every time we visit Peak District we stop here to eat.

Food was lovely but we received it and hour late with the excuse of them being busy. if they're that busy, they should stop taking orders. when we rang, we were told the driver was on his way. we rang again 20 mins later and they said the driver set off 8 minutes ago.

Mixed thoughts on restaurant ... Adana kebab was pleasant, but the spices were faint flavoured. The vegetarian kebab was partly good, partly charcoal 😕 BUT they were under a lot of pressure from a very large birthday party group (25+), so got to give them some slack. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking limited on street.

Good service. Brilliant cooking. We had Albanian Liver followed by Cop Shish with wine.shared a backlava. All very tender and well flavoured.

Surprisingly, a great place in a small town. The food was literally beyond my expectations and the service was also excellent. Simple but spacious and clean restaurant serving halal food with such delicious taste. I must recommend it to all.

Our second visit and after a disappointing visit to a new turkish venue in Sheffield last month I don't think I'd try anywhere else new now... Just because it's closer doesn't mean it's better... For anybody living in the South of Sheffield it's really worth the trip. Service was A*, food was A* and atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant was perfect... The place smells good when you go in. The service is good, the food is great and the bill is fine too. ~£30 a head for two inc a wine or two, a beer and two coffees. Two filling courses left no room for a third. Went by recommendation. Will go again ASAP and pass on the recommendations.

All I can say is wow! The food is amazing - big portions, well presented and so delicious. Service was speedy and attentive and the restaurant is lovely. Definitely book in advance because it does get busy. Well worth a return visit.

I've been here many of times and also ordered from home. In the restaurant the staff are so lovely and extremely helpful the food is amazing very fresh and delicious with fresh turkish bread with olives and pickels on the table I normally have the lamb but also tried a few of the other dishes beautifully cooked. With a takeaway you still get the same standards even the fresh bread olives and pickels. I 1000% recommend Oh and one more thing they have some sort of flat bread under the meat that soaks up all the meat juices and spices its the star of the show besides the tender meat thank you afats you will definitely see us again.

Loved it! Had the sea bass and salad, lovely light charcoal fish that's filling and tnagy with the lemon drizzled on it! Nice healthy food and will be having more from here, my wife had the mixed grill and the meat especially lamb was beautiful! Quick delivery and happy service! 😊 thankyou!
