First time at this restaurant definitely will not be the last. Delicious tasty food, generous portions. Very polite, helpful and friendly people. Highly recommended.

Amazing food! Quality, taste, and amount was absolutely outstanding. We really enjoyed our meal and would strongly recommend it to anyone.

Went at 1730, the venue was cold and several tables had people sat with coats and jackets on. The irony was is that they had monitors showing a burning fireplace. During our meal, the hosts starting moving tables and adding them to the end of our table. They should have waited. Food portions were generous. However, will not be back to eat food whilst feeling cold, albeit that will be less of an issue when the better weather arrives.

Food was lovely! It’s so fresh and proper food. The quality is 10/10. It’s a little more than you’d usually pay for a takeaway but it’s worth it for the quality and amount you get!

Everything was perfect. Just wish the boregi wasn’t as soft to the bite but other than that it was bang on. Super speedy too.

The food was nice but was out for delivery for 25 minutes which meant it was quite cold when it arrived. For the delivery amount charged I would expext it to get from Whit Moor to Newbold a lot quicker

15mins late, food lukewarm but a good taste.

Paid over £60 and the food was 20 mins late , chips soggy n cold , had to put in the air fryer , salad was all wilted and no complimentary olives and gherkins. Ordered before and had excellent meals always on time and warm and tasty, I won’t be ordering again .

A cold night and this restaurant does not have a functioning self closing door. We were about the first in but instead of us being seated away from the door we were right next to it, obviously within the next hour the place began to get busy and the door opened - and was left open on fourteen occasions. I personally got up to close the door on three occasions. The other tables coming in, with the same number of customers as our table, were shown to places away from the door and for them it would have been nice and cosy. My question is why our table was not seated further inside the restaurant and then it could have been back filled? Anyway, not a great experience. I had the prawn starter which was no great shakes as they used the prawns that struggle to go pink when heated and are quite rubbery, for nearly eight pounds I would have expected a few king prawns (4/5 would have probably filled the dish I was given. The sauce supplied with the prawn starter was okay. For main I had the mixed grill which was excellent, great charred pieces of lamb and chicken with a great salad, there was nothing that wasn't good on the plate. Would suggest you skip the starters as there is ample on the mains anyway. Service was good, just the lack of attention to the needs of the customer let the place down.

Amazing food as always but ordered lamb shish for takeaway tonight, collected and got home and it was chicken shish not lamb :( still amazing though our favourite takeaway ever!

Just been for our first time.There was 32 of us for our mother's birthday. To say the first half hour was in darkness due to a power cut,the restaurant managed to get out top quality food in quick time. Excellent quality charcoal grilled meats, lovely salad and rice. Sauces added so much flavour. Best Turkish I’ve ever tried by a massively big margin. The restaurant had a spacious layout which added a lot to the experience, I hate being hemmed in.

Food arrived later than scheduled. The overall quality of the food was good, however the order was missing rice that should have been with one of the items. Overall this was quite disappointing

The Muska boregi was a soggy mess - tasty but a soggy mess. The Afat’s Krema had also leaked cream sauce into the bag by the time it arrived. However the food is delicious ❤️

Shame they don't deliver to north Wingfield but decided to collect and was very disappointed that they forgot my spicy sauce to dip the bread in! I expect more when paying that price

2nd visit after a 4 year gap (First review below). Don't no why I left it so long as the food seemed even better and with bigger portions than last time. Everything looked and tasted fresh and delicious. We went for lunch on a Saturday just after opening so wasnt many customers in nevertheless the service was outstanding. Would highly recommend anyone who likes Turkish grill. Great food, good people, fast and polite service and super price. What more can you ask for. We'll recommend

The food they serve, is really delicious and authentic. However there is considerable delay in serving the food but can't complain as it's a busy place and I realize they don't have any other competitors around that area. I would suggest them to appoint more staffs to deal the rush hours.

We were planning to go to an Indian restaurant but we're dropped off outside Afat's grill, the smell of the food was very tempting and I have always liked Turkish cuisine. My daughter had never tried it so we went in. Got a table for two straight away, very attentive and welcoming staff. The food was delicious, the portions very generous and the menu was to suit every taste. We also loved the decor with classic Turkish paintings and beautiful lamps, very warm and cosy atmosphere. Would love to go again, my daughter is now a fan too. I would highly recommend.

Hands down the best take away in chesterfield. From the hellim, to the kebabs, to the gorgeous turkish rice. Tried another turkish restaurant but it wasn't anywhere near a tasty as afats

Absolutely amazing food I always have the mixed grill expect to pay £20 to £30 per person but we'll worth it portions are very generous and if your in Chesterfield for the night you won't be drinking much after meals are very filling

I recently visited **Afat's Grill** in Chesterfield with my office colleagues, and the chicken was incredible! Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was great for a group outing. Highly recommend for anyone who loves grilled chicken!

Was craving a hot meal after a long hike at Peak District. I had the Adana and it was superb, both portion and taste-wise. I had the Halloumi starter as well which was delicious. Staff are nice and very friendly. Definitely would love to go there again.

We were a group of 14 and all our food came out quickly. No need to have starters as the portions of both starters and mains were massive.

I recently dined at Afat’s and was absolutely blown away by both the food and the service. The quality and portion sizes of the dishes were exceptional. We tried the spicy chicken thighs, the kids’ shish, and the lentil soup, all of which were delicious and generously portioned. The lady who served us was incredibly kind and attentive. She offered extra Turkish delights when she saw how much my toddler enjoyed them and even gave him an extra chocolate stick for saying thank you. This lovely gesture, combined with the overall warm and welcoming atmosphere, made our visit truly special. We will definitely be returning. Lovely place, lovely people. Highly recommended!

First meal in Chesterfield and it's amazing. Food's much better than expected. 4.8 stars well deserved. Meat's juicy with great flavor. Nice seasoning. The staff lady's kind and helpful. I asked to use the washroom before we leave. There're two and the one I used was so clean. Lovely.
