I took my family here for brunch/lunch two days ago. We had a great experience. Food was fresh, tasty and wholesome. Excellent flat white coffee. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

Bright and clean, we enjoyed tea and cake here and thought the prices were reasonable for London. The staff seemed to have English as a second language (well done on that) but could still have been more friendly - I would have thought that was important in a local community.

Just ridiculously expensive for a very average salad. Even for Notting Hill, it's preposterous. Nice location with tables outside, but so are lots of places. Won't go back.

Dirty cafe with rude waiters and overpriced food. Its only benefit is a good view onto a church and outdoor seating. Still, go somewhere else.

Adrianna’s food is delicious (a little pricey, but where isn’t these days). If you want quality and taste; their Chicken with Mushrooms is excellent, as is their Beef Lasagne and their salads and veggies also great. Good hearty and delicious food. Thoroughly recommend.

Good food, a bit pricey. Staff could be friendlier and they charge 15% extra for decaf, and no wifi. OK, but could be nicer with a little more effort.

First thing Very high prices Horrible food. Very good service at the bar. The girls in the bar are very respectful. But the food in the kitchen leaves much to be desired. Same menu every day, same salad, same dish. Nothing changed. Inexperienced chefs, I didn't find anything to make me enjoy eating. It doesn't have a décor on its plate Just thrown there 2 eggs and bacon The patroness needs to ask the chefs for more involvement. Unpeeled chicken . If I pay a big want to eat something after the price I pay it

I'm very happy supporting local independent cafes, but not at these prices . I bought a take -away of three salads ( one large and two small ) and a small loaf of bread . The cost was £43 ! I was too shocked to question, just paid dumbly . These were not expensive ingredients : lentils , spinach , pasta and aubergine , and I truly expected a maximum price of £29 ( £9 for the large salad , £7 each for the small salads and max £6 for the bread ) . This is exploitative pricing , way beyond even high end Otto Lenghi prices . They have spoilt it for us and we will not be going back

Having recently moved to the area, I thought I’d try Adriana’s as it seems popular and looks nice from the outside. However, I realise it is popular now as there isn’t anywhere else to go so, therefore, has the monopoly of the local residents and businesses. I’ve given the cafe several attempts, ordering 4 different food items on 4 different occasions, including the cakes. They’ve all been either very average or unpleasant. The price of food is just unbelievably expensive for the caliber of establishment and quality of food. Many of the cakes taste like they’re made from packet mixture, at £3.70 a slice and a small takeaway portion of salad will set you back £10! As I’ve said, as the isn’t anywhere else on that road to eat, they can charge whatever they like, regardless of what they serve. The last time I visited, the cafe had an overpowering smell of raw sewerage so I have finally given up and won’t be returning. A higher quality coffee shop is required in the area as an alternative option.

I went there for a coffee and wanted to use the toilet first and there was a rude lady who shouted where I was going. I said I wanted to use the toilet first and she shouted that it was for private use and when I asked where was the toilet for customers she pointed outside and said the public toilets in the street. It’s disgusting in this day and age for an establishment who serves food not to have rest rooms for customers to use. It should open its toilet to customers or close.

We had a lovely time at Gail’s, we sat in the back corner which felt cosy and private. The iced caramel latte was very nice.

Evitar a toda costa.

I did not expect to be upset by visiting Daisy Green restaurant in Holland Park. I went to investigate the new restaurant with a view to using it regularly if it turns out to be as good as it sounds. Ordered my take away coffee, and was offered a card machine to pay. It turns out, you only take cards. I was furious. You won't take my money ????? I had about £200 with me. So there are 3 million people in the UK who don't have bank accounts, let alone credit cards. This is for many many reasons. Some of which is that they are vulnerable or have had financial difficulties. They are not pariahs , but according to you they are. So you are an exclusive establishment. You only serve those who suit you ? Then there is the fact that you are encouraging banks and credit card companies to hold you , and therefore us to ransom. Once cash is not used in society, they decide how much to charge you for taking their card payments .... and who will ultimately pay ? US, the customer. You and other businesses are responsible for this . Trust me, once there is no choice you will HAVE to pay what they want. Many companies are now refusing Amex cards because of this exact reason. Do you not realise that once there is no cash in society , they will all work together ??? You won't take my money , my legal tender, the money I might give to my grandchild when they start to learn to go up to the counter with money to gain confidence and learn how it works, or maybe it's their pocket money ? oh but how can they spend their pocket money ....you have to get a 5 year old a bank account with a card for them to tap ? learn about change and what money they get back ? no need I suppose . So i will not be coming back, not to buy a take away OR use the restaurant. I have a company that helps and supports clients in the area. Well they are not going to be guided and referred  to you. One of whom had seven children up to 25 years old and lives very close by, I will explain my thoughts to them. I did not expect to come to the park and was upset this morning. Not something I will forget. My thoughts will be shared on Google ( I am told by them that my reviews have reached tens of thousands of people , though i find that hard to believe). Ive just looked at your reviews and it looks like other people have had their own disappointments. There are FB groups encouraging people to boycott companies who don't take cash. I myself am a member of one of them and am obliged to share.  I will be writing to my MP and giving your company as an example. In fact I may as well just cc him and perhaps the local council who i presume rent the property to you? Yikes on googling who owns it, Tripadvisor came up and there are also some negatives about your new establishment.  Perhaps you could rethink your policy Daisy Green and consider reading some of the other reviews. It doesn't look like it will take too much for you to improve your reviews. The Holland Park Cafe is important to SO many people , it is a precious resource. You are letting us all down, being a part of changing our society and how the banks control us .
