Beautiful Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas and Curry Sauce! Kebabs are nice too. Not a fan of the chilli sauce, though. It tastes more like a spicy bbq sauce. Could do with changing the recipe!

Garbage. Waited an hour and a half for delivery and they'd delivered to the wrong house. Absolutely no help when I tried to call to get a refund

Been ordering from Adams for several years now. Food is consistently good, with pretty fast delivery. They serve proper chip shop chips, made from nice creamy potatoes, unlike everywhere else who serves powdery textured frozen chips. Friendly delivery drivers also ;-)

Best takeaway and pizza parlour in town!!

Are just interested in the delivery side of work. Chips had been cooked and warmer up a few times, garlic Brad you could sole your shoes with and the donna meat was tasteless totally bland

Pizza wasn't a 9 inch at all wasn't nice, the amount of chips was ridiculous with burger meals, donor meat was half what you used to get, not adams at all won't be returning after using them for 2 years

Delivery is normally a lot quicker than the website says and everything tastes great!

This place is located in a prime location nestled in a very large housing estate that is just situated just a little up from morrisons daily store if you drive off the main road, we being new to this area found it by satnav after wanting to try something new and I'm so glad we did. I've yet to try their pizzas but their donner meat is very nice and you get plenty although I am used to the sauce pots to be double the size they use but on a positive note I did like their chilli sauce. The bread is more like a wrap than a naan that I'm used to so just meat in a tray is all I order now. If you don't live local and want good quality food I definitely recommend Adams and their delivery is much faster than others.

OK so this is Adam's Pizzas but before I go any further first things first. Adam's chips are enough to knock you out by the cooked sackful - big and chunky and homemade and you can't put them down. That said it may be strange to seek fish 'n' chips from a pizza establishment but this was a truly astonishing decision. The fish was soft and cooked to perfection in a light tasty crunchy batter, a super-delicate flavour which was not overwhelmed in its fried coating, and chips with stacks of piquancy to be getting stuck in with. An eye-opener to a sometime fish dipper-in; this swimmer held its own even under lashings of tartare sauce and ketchup. I had mine with a nice bottle of red wine which could have helped but frankly I would have chomped for England with a bucket of Diet Pepsi alongside. And the moral end to this fin-ished tail? This was the one that didn't get away weighing in at a record 6 pounds - in money - and I had to walk sideways to get the box through the door. Well, almost. If you like chomping on chips and savouring delicate fish in a pungent atmosphere of ketchup, salt 'n' vinegar and no washing-up this will have you hook, line and sinker. Full steam ahead. A right royal thumb's salute, Adam's family!

LOVE THIS TAKEAWAY! Everything you do is amazing, nice doner, nice chicken, traditional chips just like a chippy. Pizzas are REALLY good! everything is perfect, cooked well and tastes great. Delivery arrives quick also unlike some takeaways waiting over and hour. Just ordered a bunch of wraps and arrived within 30mins. These lads work hard to get the orders out. Only thing I don't enjoy is your chilli sauce, it tastes like a mix of sweet chilli with bbq sauce. Too sweet and odd tasting for me as a ''chilli sauce''. I like hot and spicey tomatoey sauce without it being too sweet. Best Takeaway in Whitehaven regardless! 5* well earned!

Rapid delivery 😍 was actually shocked at how fast it arrived. Nicest garlic bread I’ve ever had. Love their cheesy chips. Chicken doesn’t look or taste appetising to me in the kebabs but the chicken nuggets are lovely.

Fast service would recommend you order before you go but really nice friendly staff

Never been one for takeaway food until I visited Adams, chicken kebabs are so tasty, good fresh quality food, cooked and presented so well, homemade chips are really good to, consistently excellent taste and value, would certainly recommend a visit.

First time we have tried adams pizza, what an amazing choice and omg the food was to die for. The kids got pizza & chips and ate every last thing in the box (fussy eaters) The donner calzone was beautiful and the battered mars bar was a perfect end to a perfect meal. Andrea delivered the food and her interaction with my kids made all the difference. Such a pleasent, friendly lady.

Sorry as a food guru I was so disappointed.thus was a first time try...Donna meat salty as hell.pizza was no where near authentic.the burger had a weird taste .and asked for chilli sauce, it smelled tasted like tikka ...it was in a pot half white and orange mixture.....so dissapointed

First time customer. A nice meal we got. Better than most in Whitehaven town centre

1st time ordering yesterday, Adam's was recommended by my cousin, had doner kebab, the meat was cut nice & thick, salad & really nice pitta served separately, I usually bin the pitta from other takeaways as its always served under the meat making it wet & greasy, my daughter just had the doner meat & chips, the chips were really good, nice & thick but well cooked, my only regret was not getting a tub of coleslaw as the coleslaw in the salad was superb, definitely going back, a real gem.

First time at Adam's pizza tonight and very impressed. The best chips and chilli sauce we have had. Cheese and onion spring rolls, calzone, pizza and chips all gorgeous. Nice to have a pizza place so close on Woodhouse.

Got the mate box,sorry but wouldn't be my mate for for long....was cold...missing a kebab......salad comprised of 20 pence worth of lettuce and slither of onion ,bit of sweetcorn on top and some shop bought coleslaw, all in all pretty poor experience.

First time ordering from Adam's. Took a wee while but oh my word. Very,very, very nice. 3 different pizzas, steak chips and very nice garlic bread. Thank you. We will be ordering again
