It was wonderful experience, atmosphere was excellent, service was fantastic and quick, food was very testy and authentic. Food was quality was large in the reasonable price. Amazing experience, really recommend to all.

I tried the Samosa Chaat, Pav Bhaji, and Pani Puri here, and they were incredible! The Pani Puri had the perfect balance of flavors, the Pav Bhaji was buttery and rich, and the Samosa Chaat was deliciously crunchy and tangy. The homely atmosphere and warm service made it even better. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures! I’ll definitely be back for more.

A Brilliant Vegetarian eat in or take away outlet. They serve great food all round, but have to say Dahi Vada are out of this world, I would go so far as to say best in the Midlands, and very well priced.

I have ordered 6 mixed pani puri and 4 somossas, it was very delicious. Specially there Pani puri was very tasty. I have tried Pani puris in different shops, but this one was the best. And also the customer service was very supportive, helped me to understand more about there menu.

We recently ordered pani puri and dahi vada from Avkaar, but our experience was quite disappointing. The major issue was the portion size: we received very little potato filling for the 20 puris we ordered, which was far from sufficient. This left us feeling unsatisfied and frustrated with our meal. In addition to the poor portion size, when we called the restaurant to address this issue, the owner responded very unprofessionally. Instead of understanding our concern, he became annoyed and started shouting at us. This level of customer service is unacceptable and added to our overall dissatisfaction. Overall, the food quality was subpar, and the customer service was even worse. We expected a pleasant experience but were left quite disappointed. We hope Avkaar improves their portion sizes and customer service in the future.

We visit their yesterday, excellent in taste as we had pani Puri really like it pure indian taste with full of potatoes with onion , sev on top ...must visit there ..

I have been to this place twice since I came to England. BOTH TIMES THE FOOD DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! The dosa is super delicious and the samosa chaat was divine!!!! The staff is super friendly too. I will definitely go again

Great chaat. This is a must for anyone who likes Indian snacks. In a city like Leicester which has a surfit of desi eateries, Aavkar is outstanding for food.

There was hair in the pav bhaji, found towards the end of the meal by my friend. When we brought it to the manager, he said we should have told him when he served the food and that the hair does not look wet so it must not have been from them. My friend who found the strand of hair was a hijabi and the people handling the food wear not wearing hairnets. We explained that we are only bringing this up because we do not want this to happen to anyone else and it is unhygienic. It doesn't feel like our concerns were taken seriously, and we did not receive an apology for this incident. After much discussion we received a refund of the cost of the 1 pav bhaji. Disappointed with the way the situation was handled.

I had a fantastic experience at Aavkar! The speed of service was impressive, and the prices were quite reasonable. The best part was the outstanding customer service - the staff was attentive and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed their delicious Indian snacks such as pani puri and will definitely be returning for more. Aavkar is definitely a gem for anyone seeking great food and a pleasant dining experience.

The food tastes amazing it reminds of India when I use to be there so whenever I feel homesick I go to Aavkar and enjoy the delicious food . It has a lot of flavours and medium spice level . But you can definitely ask them to make it more spicy and remove any ingredients you don’t like . I love this place . Their masala dosa is the best dish they offer it’s tastes so nice . Overall I give it a five star rating .

I used to go here very often about 2 years ago ,I would order mostly 1 or 2 samosa chaats as they tasted very nice . But after like a month of collecting my regular samosa chaat ; all of a sudden when I'd eat it, the next day or a few hours after consumption I'd have very bad diarrhoea and stomach pain or sickness for 1 or 2 days because of food poisoning !!! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought perhaps its not their samosa chaat , it could be something else . But no , after 1 or 2 more separate occasions of ordering and eating their food , all of a sudden I had the same episode of food poisoning . RIDICULOUS! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO ELSEWHERE AND AVOID THIS PLACE , unless ofcourse you like food poisoning 🤷‍♂️.

Best dosa, special chips and springrolls in Leicester Portion sizes are brilliant aavkar offers both small and large portions. The food is always flavoursome and I'm never disappointed. I regularly order via Uber or in person .Packaging is well thought out and food is always well presented and looks great . Really friendly staff. Aavkar is a small family business that really cares about pleasing their customers ! Whenever I have guests I always order from here as the food is lovely

Nice cosy place for vegetarian food. The menu has changed compared to before and these prices haven't increased much which is great. Food is fresh and spicy. I definitely recommend you to try. Won't be disappointed.

This place has improved a lot compare to how it was. They always make you wait for the the foods that they tell you the food will be freshly made. It’s a local shop so I can comment much towards customer services or waiting time. They always short on staff that makes it longer waiting time for food orders. Food 🥘 as always taste much better but on few occasions I have thrown a complaint in relate to few things found in food but like always there was nothing done towards a Complain that’s why 4 🌟 only. In-door table serving improved a lot compare to being served in Bagasse Burger Box (it looked unprofessional) No access for wheelchair No toilets available for customers (it’s small mid-terrace shop) Street parking free Hand wash facilities provided now.

Not only is this the BEST Indian restaurant in the country (maybe even the World), the staff are incredibly friendly making you feel welcome and really at home. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but personal favourites are the Dosa, Pani Puri, Dahi Puri and Samosa Chaat (so basically half of the menu). Well done all!

Nice veggie food here, wife likes the chutney Puri, sweet Puri and dahi Puri. I prefer the wada pau. Tasty food at a reasonable price. Normally quick at making the food and serving it quickly.
