If you are looking for good food this is the place. Authentic taste of Lahori nihari, thickness of gravy, spice, meat -all A1. Great roti. Good falooda. If you value ambiance more than food, this place is not for you. If you love your food, then a definite yes.

Ordered papri chaat and recived pani puri… called store they said they cant deliver what we ordered we have to spend 10£ more, place the order again to get what we want… very bad service by A1 lahori this was unacceptable coz atleast i should get what I ordered…

Really good little cafe / diner on the busy and manic main road, don't count on parking anywhere! A menu of properly traditional food and old school plastic tables out the back to eat at. Staff were very friendly and efficient, the young lass in particular was great at her job switching between languages with ease and advising us well on dishes / servings. The roti were particularly good, soft & fluffy (for roti!) but still with great elasticity and sauce absorption properties! Our food was all top notch, very impressive, and good value too for the amount we had. There are countless cafes / restaurants on this road so we chose this one on a hunch that it looked very trad, I'm guessing you won't go far wrong anywhere but I really liked this place, it felt very traditional yet was welcoming to us and, more importantly, serves great food.

After a long time I had the best biryani in uk I tried a lot of biryani but this one is my favourite so juicy and tasty I had best experience today thanks today I feel like I’m Having Karachi biryani

Disgusting customer service, the “woman” working there does not know how to speak to customers. We walked into this place yesterday, ordered food to take away and were told to sit down whilst they prepared the food. The place was empty apart from a small table of 4 at the back. We sat down and the woman behind the counter screamed at us “can’t you see the sign? The table is reserved” The guy brought over tea, but at this point we decided to walk out. Not spending at this place and we won’t be back.

We drove 30 minutes to have Pakistani Nashta and we were not disappointed! We ordered Halwa Puri and Nihari . Everything was authentic Pakistani. Seating area is not that great for families but the food is worth the hassle.

I realize the sub-par Pakistani and Indian food available throughout most of the UK might be due to a larger issue of lack of quality spice availability and the poor tastes dictated by the local community, but there is no excuse for messing up Nihari. There isn't even the characteristic ghee 'fried' with chili component, no side plate with julienned ginger, chilis and lime, I'm confident I recognized the exact brand of nihari prepared spice mix I can get at a grocery, etc. It wasn't poor-tasting, but it was a bit bland.

Yesterday night we ordered 3 Mutton Haleem’s. One of the worst haleem we ever had till date. It’s not even Haleem just Daal curry.

Whilst visiting Luton for the FA Cup match, I targeted this restaurant because I particularly like Pakistani cuisine I wasn't disappointed Delicious Chicken Kahari and Mutton Nehari with Naan breads cooked in the Tandoori oven Very clean Totally recommend

Really good food, finding a consistent place to eat is very hard in my opinion and A1 Lahori are always consistent with their food. Great taste which makes me miss Pakistan. I would recommend them to re do the decor of the shop so it’s more so a restaurant than just a takeaway as it has so much potential to be a great restaurant. Also the service can be improved.

Don’t try to eat haleem, coz it will not be haleem. Service was okay but could be better. Paye/ lamb chops was excellent.

Pathetic place, stinks at first, food is already frozen and they will heat it up, it is not fresh food! Luton council should visit them! The owner is one rude narcissist man, who will tell you to go away instead of listening to you as a customer. Avoid this place like a plague!!!

We ordered nihari from them, we asked for two boxes. One was completely frozen as if they made it six months back and gave us frozen one. If we have to eat frozen food, we don’t need these swindlers, and if you complain they will tell you to get out!

One of the most delicious Aloo Paratha and Chole I have had out of India. Everyone should visit it just for the authentic taste and their Dahi Bhalle/Chana Chaat

This is not the same Lahori Zaiqa. I gave them 5 🌟 last time, but today food was not good. The chicken in the mix grill was overcooked and hard, lamb chops were not brilliant but better than chicken. Overall experience was not very good. I hope this new management learn from their mistakes and improve the quality of their food. Takeaway, biriyani was okay.

It took ages for them to take my order I stood there a good 15- 20mins before they took my order and I ordered faloodas, masala fish and chips and also dahi balay. The faloodas was good and same with fish and chips but was disappointed with dahi balay as when got home I put it in the fridge to eat later in the evening, but when I took it out in the evening and took 1 mouthful it had gone off. Very disappointed and wasted my money.

I ordered 2 steak burgers, vegetable pakora portion and 1 tea, total of £8. Tea and Burgers were good, fresh, and pakora was not fresh felt like they were made a day before. We have also tried their lahori choley, Paya, pori was so light and not so much oily, best in Luton so far.. and naan was always fresh.

The food here is absolutely brilliant. Traditional as it comes. Highly recommended. The staff were helpful. We didn't have to wait long. The spices were just so tasty and fresh that you could differentiate between them. Definitely worth visiting A1 Lahori Zaiqa.
