Choi main had hardly any chicken or beansprouts just noodles the duck rolls were full of Grease n driver short changed me

I went for a takeaway, our first time at A and R and was told the wait time was 10 to 15 min, true time was 28min, and although the food was fine, when we dished up we found a large black hair in the food, this instantly put us off, and we will no longer try this place again.

I discovered this takeaway when I stayed in the area. The food was so good that I returned three times. I had tried other Chinese takeaways in Whitstable and Herne Bay and found this one to be the best. It is top notch. I was not expecting much, to be honest, but was pleasantly surprised. The service was very good too. I will certainly always use this one when I stay in the area.

Absolutely amazing!!! My mum Doesn’t actually like Chinese food at all but I twisted her arm to try here as I’ve loved it for years and my god she absolutely thoroughly enjoyed it and I quote “the best Chinese I’ve ever had and actually eaten all of” it’s. A miracle!! We’ll done a&r if next time is this good we’ll be your locals

Food is average quality and a little pricey, especially smaller additions like extra pots of sauce. They also sneak an extra service fee onto your bill without telling you even when you're collecting (it's not huge, but it is cheeky). It's a nice place with friendly people and there's nothing explicitly wrong with it, but you'll find the food is "cheap and cheerful" and the pricing of it is not.

This takeaway appears to be closed. However its telephone number still rings and there is no answerphone.

The food from here has always been very good. We always phone order through and collect as delivery takes forever. One of my daughters is really fussy but she really enjoyed all the food she ate.

Tried them out but the food is very bland the just an average Chinese Take Away also on the menu it says free delivery within a 3 mile radius I’m in Swalecliffe 1.6 miles away and got charged delivery so beware also we normally use the China Chef in Tankerton but they are closed at the moment for a holiday I think and they are a 100% better

Been going to this take away for years, unfortunately I won't be going there anymore as they have increased their prices significantly; my takeaway cost in excess of 25% more for the same things as on my last visit !

Delivered to our door,no extra charge,piping hot. Quite a small order but generous portions allowed second pickings for the next day. Enjoyed Singapore rice,duck with cashews,crispy lamb ,all very tasty. Delivery very punctual,friendly efficient service,best in town thus far

We have had a few bad meals from here either wrong thing been given to us, Something missed off our order entirely, food burnt, or today food wasn’t even cooked properly. I have never experienced raw onion and frozen peas rockhard in a curry before. The chicken was like rubber in the curry and tough bits of pork in the rice. By the time I had picked out everything that was inedible it left me with a bit of rice and a bit of curry sauce. The chips were fine, but if I wanted chips I would’ve gone to the fish and chip shop across the road.I have in the past complained, returned things, gone back for things they have missed and none of it has made any difference.As the title of this review suggests I now give up and won’t be returning.

We had been struggling to find a good Chinese and been trying a different one each month, but this was so delicious that we have decided this to be our new regular, and right on our doorstep. Hot, not at all greasy and really full of flavour. Highly recommend this take away *****

Great food, piping hot and the order was correct. Nice touch with the free prawn crackes and Pepsi Max. Deffo to go again.

We haven't been here for a very long time as our experience of it wasn't good. We went to our friends last night, and they had order from them. The order was wrong, and it was almost as if most of it was reheated, dried up, chewy, and no taste to it at all, disgusting, is all I can say, and we would not go back there at all

So disapointed..prawn prawn balls were full of oil and burnt but the batter inside was raw and sloppy..noodles were dry and tasteless iv never left feedback before but felt i had to this time..please dont waste your money.

Out of the last three Chinese takeaway is we have ordered from this takeaway, all three of them have been wrong.The first one they gave me prawn curry instead of chicken curry, which could’ve been dangerous if I had a seafood allergy, as it is I just can’t stand prawns. I found them I was asked to take it back and I would change it but they wouldn’t change my rice so by the time I got home that was cold.The second one was a family meal where six of us were eating, and this time the sauce was missing.The third time today it was just my husband and I and we shared a curry and rice between us with chips. Only half the chips were edible, and I do believe curry powder was missing from the curry as it tasted more like chicken and onions and peas in gravy and it was very watery. Unfortunately we won’t be using them again.

Local Chinese takeaway which i use on the odd occasion. Good food and good service. Pleasant staff and easy to find.

I got a very big House Special Chow Mien. It was only £4.60. It was great quality quickly cooked. I liked it.

We use this establishment quite a bit. Friendly service, never a mistake with the order. Sometimes a little slow when busy. Food is good.

Mistakes with orders unfortunately became a regular thing so unless we're collecting from shop, we use other take aways now.

This is our local Chinese and never fails to disappoint! The food tastes so fresh and flavoursome, always use this Chinese!

El servicio era frío y por alguna razón desconocida dado un pequeño pedazo de papel con un número en una vez que usted haya pedido. Yo era el único. Que dada la mala calidad de la comida, no me sorprende. Patatas fritas y arroz bien. Platos principales estaban muy extraño. Salsas o cocinado demasiado o no lo suficiente. La carne estaba bien. Y después de volver a casa, nos dimos cuenta de que no habían aún dado el cambio correcto. Uno de evitar a las personas.

Elegí para usar esta llevar esta semana ya que tiene una puntuación de 4 sobre 5 en la evaluación de la seguridad alimentaria del consejo. No use nada con menos de 4! Fue dada esta clasificación en 2015 Noviembre. Pero como el otro comentario dijo el pollo tenía una muy extraña textura - muy muy suaves, las setas estaban viejas y seca, la salsa en las patatas fritas era una gingery / color orangey y muy dulce, el huevo frito arroz estaba bien. Era justo bajo 10 libras por arroz, pollo y patatas fritas, así que no es que a un precio razonable. Comí - no estaba mal pero me voy con ellos de nuevo ya que no era lo suficientemente bueno. A juzgar por la calidad del producto me sorprende que han sido merecedor de una puntuación de 4.

We have used this take away a few times and the food is above average except the chicken it always has a slimy soft texture and if you want a home delivery good luck as they always try to talk you into collecting it and don't like cards only cash (I can guess why !)
