A La Turka in Warrington

I won't be coming here after seeing a manager speaking to a female security terribly and witnessing him grabbing her and pushing her against a wall. Continuously shouting and screaming at her and throwing a table on the floor out of anger. The manager had ahold of the female security officer and when asked several times to let go he wouldn’t. It looks like a an unsafe place for females to work. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!!

Fantastic staff, service and food. A family group of 22, all orders correct, hot and beautiful.

Ordered prawns and chicken doner. Prawns was amazingly tasty, but the doner was a bit hard to chew. Else, the taste of both was good. We went on a weekday, so the place wasn't much crowded. The ambience was pretty and the service was good too. Definitely recommended place.

A group of 9 of us spent new year's eve at A la Turka and we had the best experience! The staff were truly incredible and so amazing! the food was lovely and they kept checking on us! I must say they made our new years so special! Thank you so much to all of the staff!

We booked A la Turka for our Christmas Day meal and cannot praise the restaurant highly enough. From start to finish the team were so attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The food was abundent, of great quality and perfectly cooked. I the salmon for starters which was wrapped around cream cheese. All very fresh and so much of it I could have stopped at that. For main I had a seafood parcel which contained king prawns, salmon and monk fish - cooked to perfection with vegetables and baby potatoes with a side salad. Also on the menu for starters were soup, mese, lamb and baked feta. For mains there was lamb shanks, steak, and traditional roast. The choice was perfect for us as we have very different tastes. My only advice is don't wear anything tight around your waist as like I mentioned earlier there is an ambundence of food. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and we will be booking again for next year.

Came for our works Christmas meal and it was amazing. Great food, staff and service all round. They even accommodated a last minute birthday request.

We went on a whim, so no booking. There were only two of us, but we were greeted in a friendly and polite manner. They quickly found us a table, service was prompt, and friendly. Food delicious, and cannot fault anything. It sort of felt a wee bit noisy, with folks talking, but we were easily able to chat to each other, and hear one another, music was there in the background, but not overpowering. Prices were very reasonable for good quality food. Super, kep it up folks!

Based on Google reviews we decided to have a go and try the food of this restaurant but we have been disappointed and never go back again and even we do not recommend to whoever we know or people who reading this feedback, Please do not put fake feedback because other people based on the reviews might waste them money . We ordered spicy lamb however it wasn't lamb and god knows what kind of meat was it ! Anyway it was just mushroom and onions with three small pieces of lamb in it ! When I told them they said we never had complain about it and I'm the first person ! And also at the end charged us extra £5 for service charge ! Waste of money.

I was looking for a Turkish restaurant in Warrington . La Turka have a mix still of English with Turkish food, not what I spect. Portions are small for the price. Food quality is good but preparation and testing can improve. We other some starters and main. Humus come with pita bread from Tesco, not what u spect if you go to a Turkish, it should be home me Turkish bread. Falafel , only 3 small portions, flat, dry and based with some lettuce and came with sweets chili sauce... Not good. The calamaris , was good , small portion only 5 or 6 small pieces and again decoration with lettuce....alioli sauce helps. The mains was lamb, quality meat, but expensive for the portions. Drink and cocktails good, however I don't go restaurant for drinks, so only ordered one . In conclusion, I don't think I will back before check other options around.

Amazing food with above and beyond service. We have visited three times now and have had a consistently great experience. In particular our last visit all members of staff were very accommodating of our two year old son. Providing him with great entertainment and some complimentary fruit/ ice cream. The food was of a high standard and is great value for money would highly recommend.

Lively Turkish restaurant with good, friendly service and great food

We went on Sunday - had a reservation for 5pm then had to change it to 7pm - staff was very welcoming and helpful. The venue looks amazing, it certainly has an atmosphere but it was the food that was an absolute winner - we ordered some starters and various mains - every dish was amazing - and very generous portions! Staff was very attentive and we had an amazing time. Can only recommend!

2 Stars because felt a bit ripped off, with the add on to upgrade to sharing platter, we thought it was an extra £8.00, but it was pp so £16.00, it would have worked out cheaper to just add 2 extra starters, the £35.00 eat for 2 ended up nearly £60.00 and the meal didnt reflect that, the starter was okay, but the special kebab was poor and not so special as it was just basically meat and a flat bread, the chicken kebab was looked okay. Been here before for light meals, won't be back as I did feel a bit conned with the extra £16.00, and another £5.00 service charge, staff are pleasant until I mentioned the additional charge, they probably get this a lot as they quickly gathered together saying its in the print, so felt ganged up on and just wanted to leave to be honest.

Can't beat a la turk - fab food, great service and brilliant atmosphere! My favorite place to eat. Always guaranteed an excellent meal !

We went for a 60th birthday. Staff sang and brought the cake out and made it that extra bit special. The was gorgeous. The service was outstanding. Thanks to all of them that work there.

Last visited La Turka a few years ago, unfortunately I only get to go there when Im at our Head office for meetings, but so pleased I had the opportunity to visit them again as it was a great night, food and service were excellent, thank you for making our visit a really good experience.

Great dinner with elderly parents. Delicious dinner, lovely atmosphere and Chico and the team were helpful and friendly as ever.

I had my birthday on the 13th April, the staff are just wonderful, always make our nite, sang happy birthday, had amazing cake with a sparkler on, my favourite place always to go, thanks to all the staff, especially sero, chico and the waitress who I don't know her name but shes lovely 💕 Live music was fab too.

Came for my neices 18th Birthday 12 04 2024. Every expect was amazing, staff are more than just staff, so welcoming, friendly and soo helpful. The food is perfection. Would definitely recommend this place for any family gathering. The live music was lovely too! I walk with a stick and was offered help multiple times, as the toilets wete up a flight of stairs they approached me and took me to their staff lift. Extra speciality was when they brought the birthday cake out and the staff walked up singing happy birthday to their birthday music 5* service.

Having visited this restaurant regularly since it opened, I can only say that it goes from strength to strength. The food is tasty, the menu is always fresh, and they regularly update dishes and improve as they go. Deals can be had, and you are always greeted with a smile, and each visit is a joy. We recently had our wedding reception in The Loft. Chico and his team made the planning easy, and on the day, we can only say that we felt special. Our guests felt cared for and well fed, and the venue lends itself perfectly to live music. After hearing we weren't having a cake, Chico ensured our desert table had a stunning centre piece, and I couldn't thank them enough. This place holds a special place in our hearts.

We couldn’t fault the staff, very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food was average, over priced and it felt like dining in a night club with loud music and lots of loud young tables Wouldn’t rush back.

My food was served so hot I couldn't eat it for 10 minutes, honest to god the steam coming off it could have powered the hogwarts express! Once I got past the heat, my ottoman chicken turned out painfully bland and over priced. They add a service charge to the bill so look out for that. The wine was excellent and the staff were lovely and very attentive so I can't fault them at all!

This restaurant is decorated beautifully and the owner was lovely and friendly. The belly dancer was great too. The waiters were quite rude and would say "what" instead of pardon when we tried to explain we didn't order a pizza and he kept insisting we did and we were in fact missing a chicken dish. The sharing starter dish was nice. The chicken and feta dish someone had was nice but 3 of us who had chicken skewers was completely tasteless and rubbery and chewy. The service of drinks was incredibly slow and they kept trying to give us drinks we hadn't ordered but then we had to wait over 20 mins each time we ordered a drink. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend due to how poor quality the food was.

Was absolutely amazing with a live singer and piano being played. Each table had its own decoration and also 30% off the bill (Mid-week 2024). Food was amazing as well as the atmosphere. We've been here many times over the years and it doesn't change which is so amazing. Love this place as well as the most helpful staff.

Went here tonight for a friends birthday meal. The service was really good , staff very friendly and attentive . The food was lovely and at a good price too . The only thing was that the lift for one of my friends with a disability issue was round the back of the pub next door at the slug and lettuce and the toilets were 20 steps up and down 🙁 this really needs to be addressed as it is an issue for people with a walking disability . We all enjoyed our night out but feel this is an issue that needs addressing .

Been here hundreds of times. Went last night and had a particularly good meal. Calamari to start and beef ribs for main. Probably the best meal I’ve ever had in Stockton Heath… and I eat out there a lot! Service is second to none too!

Went to The Loft bar above A La Turka for drinks with friends. My boyfriend was overcharged for a drink (£25 for one drink) and when he refused to pay, a bouncer was called over to intimidate and force him to pay. On the way out, the manager spoke to my boyfriend about it but rather than offering a refund, he argued with my boyfriend and told him he didn't want to help him and he didn't deserve to have a good night. We left and will certainly never return again! Looking at other recent reviews, it doesn't look like we are the only ones who have had problems with this Manager.

I have visited this restaurant twice with friends. The staff are always welcoming and the service is exceptional. I had the honey feta and a shish kebab this visit and both were delicious.

Visited A La Turka this evening for a festive meal, quite a large booking in terms of numbers. All was going great until the booking ran slightly over although we were told we could have the table a bit longer. Desserts removed and table cleared before anyone had a chance to eat them! When we queried this with the management we were met with a very rude and abrupt guy (the manager) who simply blamed his staff which was not fair. The staff tried their best and were very accommodating but the manager was simply RUDE, the way he spoke to his staff was appalling and us as customers shocking. Very very RUDE and in all honestly a bit aggressive! Well done to the staff but shocking management.

Fabulous evening celebrating Mum and Dad’s big birthday with the family. Great atmosphere and all the food and drinks were delicious. The A La Turka team were friendly and really helpful and made the evening a really special experience.

An absolute gem with superb food and a great place to book a celebration party.

Unfortunately we were turned away from an empty restaurant despite making an online booking a week in advance. Refused to honour a Groupon voucher which expires in 8 weeks. After chatting with the manager who could not offer us an alternative we were told to 'piss off'. Hopefully he doesn't treat all his customers like that.

Exceptionally good meal, coupled with perfect service with a smile.

A little quiet at lunchtime hence the 4 star but very well treated. Have to climb stairs to get to it so unsure of wheelchair/disabled access.
