Now home to Dubrek Studios (Hub of Derby Music) which has studio space and rehearsal rooms available for hire. Bar/cafe area is spacious and there is a good range of ales to enjoy.

Well laid out and very well decorated bar/cafe/restaurant with great opening times. Breakfast was very good, I would have liked it a little bit hotter, but good ingredients, tasty and filling and at a decent price all washed down with a large mug of tea. Service is welcoming and friendly, well worth giving it a try.

34 Sadler GateAmazing steak house, food cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced. Quick service and welcoming staff, who regularly checked in on us. Perfect place for a date or get together. Would highly recommend.

166 Swarkestone Road ChellastonOur second trip to Hickory's Derby was nearly cancelled today. This was due to my partner, who was still ill from the flu not feeling well enough to have a sit-down meal. We stopped by to let them know we couldn't dine in as planned and they offered to provide a takeaway meal for us. The BBQ brisket, cheddar/jalapeno sausage, pickled onions, fries and coleslaw are amazing, had a great little birthday 'donut cake' added as a treat for her birthday. We are sorry we couldn't eat-in, as the atmosphere is fun, especially at the chef's table where you can watch the action. We'll be back when she is feeling better and certainly appreciate the manager and staff going the extra mile for us today. Thank you for making my partner's otherwise dreary birthday a nice treat! x
