Whoever is your Indian customer person on the line , i would politely ask you to change him. We had an issue with our order and he said i will give you those items for charity. Rather then being polite and try to solve something he said i was wasting his time. Even for a small amount the reason a restaurant stands out is because of the customer service.

Really horrible food! I wish I could give negative stars to this restaurant. First of all for similar items that we get in many other restaurants is sold here for double the price and less quantity the lady at the counter put in an extra 6 pound in the bill thinking I wouldn’t notice!! And also I asked for normal tea and she made it herself and served and charged it 7 pound!!! Such horrible experience and food! Please warning you people this place looots your money in all ways possible. Will never step foot in this place,

We eat at Indian restaurants when we travel and this was probably the best we have been to. The atmosphere and mostly importantly the food was on point! What stood out the most was that although there were many dishes that you always see on Indian menus, there were many dishes that were a welcome change. We ordered the khatal, lamb keema and kofta. All incredible. If I lived in Sheffield this would be my go to restaurant!

First time in Sheffield, and out come my North Indian food cravings for no particular reason... I walk into 400°C for some papadums, sabz sangam, tandoori rotis, jeera pulao and masala chaas, expecting nice food... An hour in, the 100% freshly-prepared meal is indeed delicious, but I also get a dessert on the house! All thanks to a great conversation in my native tongue with Christy, the very professional yet friendly manager. Highly recommended!! P.S.: I also observed how the restaurant helps feed the homeless, which, Christy tells me, happens every Wednesday through a local charity. What a wholesome place!

Food taste were average. Delay in serving food. Almost 45 mins to get a starter. Then again waiting for main course. Less quantity and worst quality. Over priced compared to other Indian restaurants in Sheffield but taste wise failure to compete with them. additional VAT charges to food bill on top of this. Totally disappointed ☹️ Edit:For the owner reply: Pity on someone who jumped in to a conclusion after reading my review that I didn't tell anything to the server. Me and my husband did tell the server that it was taking long time for the food preparation and she apologized for it too.And your reply saying, it was served within 25 mins when Im telling you that food was served only after 40 mins. Soda water came to the table opened, was flat. It was changed. They mixed up the chili level. Plain rohti came as butter rohti. When I complained about the chili level mix up - I was told I should have made the lady aware when she asked how was the food! The problem is, my daughter hadn’t started on her main meal when the lady asked!! Then a big argument on the gratuity that she took the liberty to add on the bill. I refused to pay it. Terrible place.

First the good. Taste wise the food is amazing, very little ghee which I hate as it's often overused., flavours sublime. The guy serving us was completely overwhelmed because he was serving, I counted 18 diners. Doing drinks, serving food, taking orders clearing tables all by himself which was quite frankly ridiculous with that many customers, I felt sorry for him and it was to the detriment of the overall experience. Which was a shame. The other thing I just didn't understand was our main had six huge king prawns, very generous and absolutely delicious. But a naan bread cost £6 and was just three tiny slices nowhere near enough for two of us like we were told. Which resulted in us ;eaving lots of sauce that we'd have moped up with more naan. Just seemed odd to be stingy with flour but generous with expensive king prawns. Would I recommend this restaurant. Absolutely but please get someone to help this poor guy. We had a table next to us that was uncleared when we arrived and still uncleared when we left. More staff would provide a service reflective of the fine dining experience it could be. In response to the reply. We were told our order for our naan bread would be sufficient for two. It was not, it was tiny. Regards staffing levels on the day. I'm not sure what your saying. Are you telling potential customers that it's pot luck whether your going to get good service or not. Other restaurants manage, the level of service was well below what other restaurants offer. The reasons are irrelevant to your customers. That's the experience

I wanted to express my appreciation for the delicious Chicken Dam Biryani which i had from your restaurant. I must share a small concern. I noticed that the quantity of chicken pieces in the biryani was quite limited, especially considering the price of the dish. While the taste was delightful, the lack of an adequate amount of chicken was a bit disappointing. I understand that maintaining quality and balancing costs can be challenging, but I believe it's essential to offer a proportionate amount of ingredients to ensure customer satisfaction. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed the overall experience of dining at your restaurant, and I hope you take this feedback constructively. Authentic Indian Cuisine at 400° in Sheffield: A Culinary Delight During a recent work trip to Sheffield, my colleagues and I had a strong craving for Indian tea after a long day. Thanks to the recommendation of a friendly local, we discovered 400°, a delightful restaurant that not only satisfied our tea cravings but also introduced us to an array of mouthwatering Indian dishes. The experience left us impressed with the hospitality, speed of service, and the flavorsome offerings. Here's a detailed review of our visit to 400°, a place that deserves recognition for its authentic Indian cuisine. Ambiance and Hospitality: Upon entering 400°, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, including a server who, like us, hailed from India. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting ambiance, creating a comfortable atmosphere for our dining experience. It was fascinating to learn that many Indian students work part-time here, adding to the authenticity of the place. The servers were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making us feel right at home. Culinary Exploration: Our server graciously recommended some must-try dishes, allowing us to delve into a delightful gastronomic journey. We started with papadum, crispy Indian snacks, accompanied by three delicious dips. These tantalizing appetizers set the stage for what was to come. We followed our server's suggestion and ordered samosa chaat, chicken tikka, fish fingers, and laal maans. Delicious Flavors and Quality: As the food arrived at our table, we were captivated by the aroma and presentation. The dishes looked enticing and lived up to our expectations. The chicken tikka and fish fingers were exceptional, with well-balanced flavors and tender textures. While the laal maans didn't surpass the taste of the original we had experienced in Rajasthan, it was still a flavorful rendition. The dishes showcased the chef's skill and commitment to preserving the authenticity of Indian cuisine. Service and Efficiency: One aspect that stood out at 400° was their impressive speed of service. Despite our large group of 17 people, the staff managed to serve us promptly without compromising on the quality of the food. The servers were attentive, ensuring that we had an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. The efficiency of the team was commendable and contributed to our overall satisfaction. Value for Money: Considering the quality of the food, the warm hospitality, and the overall experience, the prices at 400° were reasonable. For our smaller group, the bill came to around £95, which we found quite fair. Even when we returned with a larger team of 17 people, our total bill of approximately £850 still felt justified given the fantastic service and delectable cuisine we enjoyed. Ownership and Accolades: An interesting aspect we discovered about 400° is that it is owned by a Punjabi, adding a personal touch to the restaurant's identity. Additionally, the talented chef, Sidharth Singh, hails from Rajasthan, India, and was recently honored with the prestigious Bharat Gaurav award. This recognition speaks volumes about the chef's expertise and further reinforces the authenticity and excellence of the cuisine served at 400°. Conclusion: Our visit to 400° in Sheffield left us delighted with the rich flavors and warm hospitality. The restaurant's dedication to offering authentic Indian cuisine, combined with the efficient service and inviting ambiance, made for a truly memorable experience. While the taste may not surpass that of India's finest establishments, 400° stands out as a remarkable option for those seeking a taste of Indian gastronomy in the UK. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant to satisfy your cravings for Indian food when in Sheffield. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Now the bad part - Hell expensive, papadom basket cost you around 5 / basket, quantity is way too less, the amount they charge is way to expensive. Main course is very average nothing great. If you think this review is not authentic then pls experience it yourself. At the end .. they add VAT additional on top of final bill.

Had a fairly enjoyable meal here. The server was very polite, making sure we had everything we needed. We did have to wait quite a while for our food considering we were the only people in the restaurant and not many people came in for deliveries, however this is understandable as the food is obviously cooked fresh. I had chicken pakora for my starter and enjoyed this a lot. For my main course, I had chicken tikka masala and this unfortunately did not taste much like a masala and had quite a kick to it when this is meant to be a mild dish. However, it was still fairly tasty.

The combination of a genuinely friendly welcome, and authentic deliciously spiced fresh food, makes this a great restaurant. Recommended.

One of the best, if not the best I've had in a very long time.. portion size isnt amazing but the quality more than makes up for it. Will be eating in when passing now!

First time visiting the place, it is almost empty, around 4 tables of customers. After seated, we waited for 10 minutes until a waiter showed up, and we had to ask for the menu. A different waiter came a couple minutes after to take order. We were not ready and asked for a little more time. 20 minutes later a waiter came to take my order. From entering the restaurant to getting our food it took an hour. The waiter did ask us if we want papadum, didn't know is cost £4.95. The food is ok.

Really lovely, delicately spiced food. Not sure the naan was worth £3.50 though, it was very small for that price. But overall, very happy and would order again.

Super tasty food from Bambukat!!! Chole bhature and paneer shashlik as good as Delhi food. 9/10. They didn't give mango chutney. They gave rattan which I couldn't eat as I don't find raw veg to be hygienic anywhere outside the house. Amaaaazing their samosa chaat is fab too. Hubby wanted to rogan josh to be tender. 5tara does it nice and tender he said but bambu's sauce was tasty. Ordered so can't say reg the ambience Best Indian food in Sheffield. This is coming from a Delhi girl.
