Monday lunchtime visit, 3 for a quick lunch. Had pizza which excellent and quick. The service was also good although it was quiet for a work day lunchtime,

The manager of this pub seems to hate the pub and his customers. Really rude. Doesn’t look anyone in the eye. Couldn’t care less. Comes across as so rude and unwelcoming like he’s constantly ‘over it’. I waited at the bar for ages while he was on his phone texting before serving me and others, even though he acknowledged us. Shame because I live locally and find this place so hostile and horrible because of him. On the occasion I go and he isn’t there, the staff complain how he treats them terribly. What a terrible place and how sad given pubs are struggling now to get back to normal and this one makes no effort to even want people there

187-189 High StreetChose this restaurant as we were looking for a quick Turkish lunch with a spacious interior . We had a cold selection of mezze for 2 which came with only 2 dolmades along with hummus,tzatsiki and 2 other dips. For mains ,we ordered a platter of grilled meat with fries,mixed salad and pitta bread. Food was tasty and of a big portion. Service was friendly. Enjoyable meal.

12-14 Lodge RoadWent there with two of my friends for the classic English breakfast. The food was really good and copious we couldn’t even finish the all thing. I took the salmon bagel and it one of the best I tried. Definitely recommend 🙂↕️
