248 East Bistro in Belfast

Intentando algo nuevo, acabo de recibir una entrega de aquí. ¿La comida estaba deliciosa? comida de gran comodidad y entrega a tiempo? ¡Gracias sin duda volveremos a tener! Steph

El sábado fui a almorzar con mi esposa, pedí un sándwich de tocino y pedí tocino muy crujiente. . Lo que recibí fue apenas tocino tibio y ni un poco crujiente. Mi café con leche tenía una piel horrible en la parte superior como si hubiera estado sentado durante siglos. Mi esposa pidió un lado de frijoles y llegaron a la mitad de su comida que nos sirvió un chef muy sucio. . blancos sucios de chef, uñas sucias y un caso muy grave de psoriasis en sus brazos y manos que no estaban cubiertos. . quizás una chaqueta de manga larga y un par de guantes serían de ayuda. Entiendo que no se puede evitar la psoriasis, pero las uñas sucias y el uniforme me quitaron la comida y no pude salir lo suficientemente rápido. Le advertiría a cualquiera que no coma aquí porque si este es el estándar de limpieza que permiten servir una mesa, solo puedo imaginar lo que sucede detrás de escena.

Avons bien mangé le sirloin steak excellent Chines chicken un peu épicé, hunters chicken tres bien et beef and bird super Service un peu lent mais cela vaut le coup d'attendre

Llegué al restaurante con mi familia y nuestra nieta de 3 años a las 13: 10 horas. El sábado por la tarde había 3 mesas con otros comensales. Nos saludaron amistosamente y nos dieron menús y nos sentamos en una mesa agradable para nosotros Cinco. el servicio era tan bueno que nos llevaron nuestros pedidos y en 5 minutos trajeron nuestras bebidas a nuestra mesa, como dije, todo fue genial. luego, otros 50 minutos después, aún no había comida, otro comensal se quejaba de que habían estado esperando aproximadamente una hora, mientras lo hacían, así que comenzó a salir la comida. ahora son las 14: 10 horas, las bebidas se han ido todos los niños de 3 años, se ponen inquietos, etc. Pregunté por la comida que me habían dicho que se estaba colocando en un lugar fresco a las 14: 30 horas. La comida llegó a las 14: 40 horas. . . 1 hora y 30 minutos para 5 papas fritas ulster no como si fuera una comida elegante o todas las comidas diferentes. inaceptable. Si no fuera el jefe, me habrían despedido por tomar tanto tiempo para el almuerzo.

I see in other reviews about service being slow, thing is you know you're getting fresh food...... if it was too quick I would know it's not so fresh. My husband had brought his own drink I just had a lemonade. They did cater for me but unfortunately no vegetarian menu! Maybe that should be fixed, and also the oil that is used should be changed to cover everyone there's more than beef dripping now a days. In all we had a lovely meal, we had time to chat, and we did get service with a smile the staff was lovely. We will definitely be back.

The food and service is out of this world and the space and decor is just trremoudous. But I think they need to advertise more about it. Anytime I'm in there is hardly anyone ever in it. It's always quiet which is good but the food is smashing and more promotion would make it better. A must recommend!

Lovely welcome very friendly staff food was of really good standard overall very good it was in a good location not far from where we were staying but also had a phone for local taxis very good value for money

I waited 30 mins for an omelette to be cooked and the restaurant was empty. I asked for a tiny bit of cheese and it was swimming in cheese. It was cheap and cheerful but I won't be back in a rush. Bonus points for the waitress she was helpful and apologised about the wait.

Night out when visiting family in Belfast and we were all delighted with the range and quality of the food at 248 East. Okay, the service is a wee bit slow, but it is all cooked to order and all sorts of special requests were dealt with efficiently and with great service. We did not mind the wait one little bit as the quality and taste of our food was just great (and I am known for being really fussy!). We ended up sharing and tasting each others food as it was so good. This is a great place for an excellent main course - no starter options as far as I could see, but you will honestly not need one. It is bring your own bottle with free corkage, an offer of putting it in the fridge was quickly made and ice and glasses were all available. There is an off licence a few doors away if you're not organised in advance. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for fantastic quality and freshly made food. We will be back the next time we visit Belfast.

The waitress was very grumpy and not familiar with the menu, service was extremely slow, (only 1 other table with 2 people) and the food was awful. 3 people received their food while the fourth waited about 15 minutes. They did however bring some fries out due to the wait. The Yorkshire puddings were overcooked, hard and dry. Large chunk of plastic wrap found in the roast beef.

We had a light brunch as we didn’t want a large meal we ordered two small fry’s which consisted of sausage bacon egg soda bread and potato bread along with tea. It was freshly prepared and delicious. Just what we needed after all the heavy food over Christmas They have a wide variety of food on the menu and we will certainly try other dishes

We come here regularly to unwind for a meal in this relaxed bistro .The friendly staff modern decor and tasty food create a homely atmosphere. The roast beef special is a our favourite. Delicious!! Having plenty to eat and good banter brings us back weekly along with good food reasonably priced. Flexibility on the menu selection is an added bonus being a regular.
