Stayed for work for 4 days, bed was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep, my favourite part about the room was the walk in waterfall shower with a shower seat, I’ve not stopped thinking about how brilliant it was, I’ve searched everywhere for a shower as nice as that one and am yet to find one. I’d come back to Belfast just to stay here and experience the shower again. Unreal

Wow a great premier inn, one of the best I have stayed at. Updated decor with a large walk in shower. Bed as good as usual. This one has a proper restaurant attached which has a real chef who knows how to cook a breakfast. Poached eggs, freshly cooked bacon that looked and tasted like meat, etc. This location is right for exploring some good bars and great restaurants around.

Standard Premier Inn. Welcoming, very helpful reception staff. Surprisingly quiet hotel given its proximity to the nightlife, and we were there on a Friday night. Other reviews mention noise though so maybe request quieter room

A good night's sleep is not guaranteed. The bed is its usual comfy self, but PI can't do much about the location. So much street noise till 330am some nights. Also heating is being replaced so just electric radiators which weren't on so room was freezing on arrival. Leave one of your keys in the switch and heater on low 2 and you'll come back to a comfortable room.

The rooms are good and clean, although even on the 5th floor it suffers from being able to hear street noise. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good value with continental or cooked options. Very handy for exploring the city and a short walk to the pedestrian bridge heading to titanic quarter.

Room wasn’t great , kinda clean but mouldy windows , tissue stuck in the holes in the frames , dusty We requested it to be re cleaned but didn’t look like they did much again … probably the worse premier room we ever stayed in. Couple of the lights didn’t work A weird wet stain on the floor that never dried. Extractor fan didn’t work. We didn’t come to Belfast for the room so we got on with it after a bit light cleaning from our self’s. We wouldn’t stay in this particular premiere again. Only great thing about this place was the location

We had booked Premier Inn breakfasts every day and they are delicious. After a long day trip, we were too tired to go out and eat, so we decided to eat in the hotel. Because we had pre-booked breakfasts, we could take advantage of the evening meal offer of 2 courses plus a drink, for £16. I had the salmon fillet on a bed of basil crushed potatoes, accompanied by mixed greens and sauce bearnaise. It was absolutely delightful. My wife had a double cheese and bacon burger, which was nicely presented and looked equally tasty. We both had the cheese board to finish with. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I visited here with my grand daughter while staying in the hotel ( I purchased their meal deal). While the staff were very friendly and helpful I found the kids menu was very limited. My grand daughter was very excited about her dinner but when we got the menu the only thing she liked on it was a burger. She would normally get chicken gougons or some other kind of chicken. When the burger arrived it was flame grilled and an adult size. Unfortunately she didn't like and ended up just having chips for her dinner.

Chilli beef panini with roasted red peppers, jalapenos and cheese- AMAZING! We also got a couple of boxes of chips with different sauces on them, very good. One down side, a colleague got a chorizo and cheese wrap and it was very oily and difficult to handle. I think this was a one off though as everything else was delicious!

A slightly unusual review as we actually enjoyed the food that was provided and the table service was good. The overall experience when we visited in New Years Day however was abysmal. We were seated in the half full restaurant, given menus then proceeded to try and order food. The list of food that was unavailable was heading towards half of the menu including everything from chicken wings, ribs to Camembert. When we finally ordered food that was supposedly available, what arrived was not what was described on the menu. When we asked for some rocket to accompany the mac and cheese as per its description we were told there was none (even though we were delivered a pizza with rocket on it). Bringing in punters when you have half the menu missing without prior warning is bordering on false pretences! The waiter we had was polite and helpful throughout and to be quite frank, I felt sorry for him. He was doing his best in embarrassing and difficult circumstances on the back of what was clearly poor management. When we told him our views at the end of the meal he undertook to pass them on to the manager. The standard of management continued until the end when the said manager declined to comment, apologise or even see us face to face. An embarrassing day for you Thyme. No excuses for this level of disorganisation, preparation and lack of customer service on one of the 3 most important family days of the year! Fair play to your waiter though - he was your one shining light!

Stayed at the Premier Inn and decided to stay on site at Thyme for an evening meal. Service was extremely slow. My steak dinner arrived before my drink, which they had completely forgotten about. The meal was not great. The 8oz sirloin in fairness was cooked how I wanted it, but the whole dinner was served on a awkward shaped plate which the steak was too big for. There really wasn't anything exceptional to say about it - served with oven fries and garden peas. Don't get me wrong there isn't much to complain about when it comes to peas, but the plate was swimming in liquid which was soaked up by the fries. The meal was very underwhelming, and at £15 it was overpriced. I could tell I wasn't the only customers frustrated; the table next to me ordered their food just after me and I had managed to finish my main and dessert before theirs even arrived! If I hadn't been a solo traveller I would have ventured out to eat. Belfast has some amazing restaurants and the hotel is conveniently placed in the centre. The restaurant is clearly reliant on the custom from the hotel. Sadly it's just not up to scratch.

Thyme is convenient and value is ok as city prices go. The venue is nce, service is good. Staff are rather pleasant. Nonetheless the food lacks a punch and is basic with no aplomb or even I didnt cook this myself mood. Basic food at ok prices=not cheap for what one gets but acceptable as you may have a glass of vino included in 2 course menu. As I say convenient, that is about it.

Dined here on a number of occasions when staying in Premier Inn. Service is always good and staff aim to please. The only drawback is that the menu is quite limited and if you have stayed at another Premier Inn you probably would go for the same as last time. A good idea would be to change the menu more often.

Had a recent stay in Belfast for a couple of days shopping and sighseeing. This Hotel is fab, right in the middle of things without being too noisy. Only a short walk to all the shopping and sights. We were very lucky to have decent weather for November so we walked the whole city during day and night and as a group of Mum and 3 teenage Daughter's we didn't feel unsafe at all walking to or from this Location after dark. The staff were all very friendly and the rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. We had breakfast both mornings and the choice of food was extensive and the Hot food was indeed HOT. This is a bone of contention with me, too often Buffet breakfasts are cold and stale but the Chefs here topped up the Buffet very regularly with fresh food. Can't wait to visit again, we will be back as soon as I can find a good enough excuse to escape for a few days.Thank you to all the Staff for your warmth and welcomes, see you all soon, keep up the good work. :)

This is the third time I've eaten here now. The restaurant is quite modern and an enjoyable place to have a meal. Our server, think her name was Aine?? Was extremely pleasant, had good knowledge of the drinks and menu. A good server like herself makes your meal/time spent there all the more enjoyable. The food was excellent, the have surprisingly good chicken wings! I suggest the stack cause they're just that good! Hotel is perfectly placed but don't expect to eat without a VERY long wait. Staying 2 nights with family & on both Sunday evening & Monday morning had to wait to get seated. Told a half hour wait, Sunday night the chefs said that they're stopping cooking at 8pm, need to inform guests. Ending up eating in the bar & setting our own table! The Hotel is very clean and the rooms very spacious. Breakfast is completely self service but excellent value for money. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My only gripe would be the fact there is no parking on site and although there are concessions parking can add quite a bit to your budget. Overall an excellent base to explore this wonderful City

The room was very comfortable and the beds have to be the most comfortable ever. Great bar and restaurant too. The premier Inn was ideal for our visit as it was slap bang in the area for great bars and restaurants without having a long trek. No car park but there are loads in the city so not a problem. The same receptionist checked us out and was so efficient and bid us a pleasant day. Highly recommended for a night or weekend visit to Belfast as its cheaper than a taxi fare...

My partner and I had a lovely 3 course meal in a restaurant in the cathedral quarter and after a brief walk around the cathedral quarter, we found ourselves outside the premiere inn. We finished our cigs while deciding whether to have a night cap or just head on home. We decided on a niht cap at this establishment, and after a cuddle then proceeded to enter. The 2 bouncers told us not tonight lads. We enquirer as to why, and they stated it was a residents bar. I suggested that it was a public bar also, as both of us worked nearby and frequented it occasionally, when we fancied a relaxed pint or coffee. They were insistent, and we moved away and called a cab. A we waited, a group of 6 guys then were allowed entry. I was confused by this approach, and seeming inconsistency, allowing 6 inebriated guys in, yet refusing a sober couple! I told the door staff I wished to complain and where was the appropriate place to posit said complaint. They were unhelpful, but eventually told me I was wasting my time because it was ' entirely their discretion'Disgusted, disappointed, offended, and sniffing a very unpalatable homophobia. Disappointment, as usually, I have a great experience here. Friendly, welcoming staff.usually courteous door staff, and flexible as I have used them for work related catering and conference/rooms/meetings etc.

Not being a big Abba fan I was not expecting to be fully entertained by this show but went along because some friends wanted to go. Firstly, the food was excellent and justified the price of the ticket on its own. The singers were really good and kept us laughing and singing along the whole time. High drinks prices inflated the final bill somewhat but it was on balance a great experience and one I'd repeat if I'm ever in bonny Belfast again.
