Great place for beer. Regular Friday session enjoying the happy hour

Really bad smell like blocked/leaking toilets or sewerage beer was cheep

Brilliant place to come for a few drinks. Best get here early though because tables are limited.

I’ve been here a few times and the amount of people vaping inside is just too much. I get it’s not illegal but I hope regulations change soon. The place basically turns into a shisha bar sometimes. I don’t like smelling vape clouds, and it’s especially unhealthy for families coming there with babies. Some of the substances in the vapes like nicotine is known to cause SIDS (Sudden infant death syndrome). They are in their full right to let people vape, I think the place has turned into a magnet of people who vape so if you don’t you are basically screwed. I guess it’s fine for them otherwise they’d seen a drop in business but if you don’t like vaping then don’t come here.

Went for a few beers and to watch the football here tonight, all I can say is the barmaid with the long black hair needs to sue the charm school she attended...Find a new job luv because working with the public is not your calling.

They have a large window at the front which they kept open for ventilation as it was hot today. But there was a group of men sat by it who talked to their smoking friends stood outside for the entire time I was there. The pub stank of smoke as a result and the staff just ignored it.

Sunday afternoon drinks at this busy venue. Good atmosphere, live music. Fish and chips, large portion and tasty

First time here, a nice atmosphere and plenty of seating. Had a young girl singer giitarist on who was very good too.

Everything great, and great ale. Singer a big wall pushing kopite. Go the exselsior or Denbigh Castle. Singer thinks she's Scouse but has a brown bin

Good vibes, sometimes has great live music.

Been there a few times now, staff and customers are decent people and always feel at ease and welcomed there. Give it a try 👍

Called in for a Sunday roast and wasn't disappointed. Food was not overcooked and presented very well. We were the only ones in, but weather was bad, so could be the reason for that. Will go again.

Had funeral wake here food was amazing

Can get very busy and a bit rowdy sometimes music can be a bit loud also

The whole team are super friendly, served by Ruby who went above and beyond. Paul the chef was extremely helpful in catering to my dietary requirements, really sad to see him go.

Poor service. Try the Dog House, Penny Lane Wine Bar or The Crafty Swine instead

Sunday lunch was mediocre. Visited at 1.30pm today, apart from an old fella at the bar, we were the only people in there. Service was quick and efficient, shame the cleanliness behind the bar wasn't as good ☹️

Visited July 2022: We booked the upstairs room here for a birthday party. The staff were really helpful and lovely. Food was fantastic. We really appreciated the efforts of the staff to make it a great day.

Enjoyed a lovely evening at the 21st Amendment. Staff were friendly, food was delicious and we were even treated to some live music (on the Thursday evening). Looking forward to visiting again. Would definitely recommend the 21st Amendment.

Spacious pub with friendly staff and the music is a good volume. Tad expensive but nice for a couple!

This place has everything. Good food. Great ales. Pleasant and diverse clientele. The only niggle is the use of amplifiers. Everything is too loud and you, the customer, end up shouting all night. Not good for the vocal chords!

The "chips" were huge wedges of partially cooked potatoes, the burger was not the best at all, wasnt really very nice but the staff were absolutely lovely

Looked really lovely from looking in the window, so booked it for my Husbands birthday, we weren't disappointed.From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly served drinks really quickly and took our food order. Our party had a variety off the extensive menu from Cod, Steak pie, chicken on sourdough and Sirloin Steak all with chunky chips and it was delicious. I recommend you try this place, great atmosphere, live music etc...welcoming staff, a great experience overall.

This lovely bar is so relaxed, comfortable and pleasant to be in. We have eaten here a couple of times and haven't been disappointed, the food is very good and the service is great. Manager Jamie is also very helpful.

Been a couple of times before lock down., decor and ambiance very good, staff friendly and helpful, had a booking for new years eve but government put end to that, will definitely be 1st there when doors reopen, best of luck
