I went 210 for a valentines meal and it was amazing. The food was exceptional, the sky bar was lovely with a great view over the harbour and service was excellent. I can't wait to return as everything on the menu looked brilliant

Despite working less than 10 minutes away - and having walked past a few times I’m sad to say I’ve never visited until today. Following a conversation earlier in the week at another restaurant taking part in “Aberdeen Restaurant Week” on their recommendation we gave it a go…. Why did I not try here sooner! Despite being a walk-in on a busy Saturday we got a table in the Sky Bar - and a near overwhelming choice of menu’s - but the special for Restaurant Week had some great choices and my wife knew exactly what I’d order - and I knew exactly what she would have…. Which was lovely. I had the Port Belly - a generous portion of porky loveliness with superb accompaniments of rosti and mushrooms…. Followed by a sublime Sticky toffee pudding with sauce and ice cream. Didn’t look to see what the usual price was - but the special week menu made it very good value. The three staff in the restaurant had a good mix of friendliness and service with a bit of personality and banter. Will definitely be back to try more of the menus!

We were initially met with a warm welcome upon entering 210 bistro, however unfortunately this was the only pleasant aspect of the night. Upon receiving the medium rare steak requested, I cut into it and was greeted with a raw bloody mess, when I say raw, the steak was raw, a blue steak would typically be cooked for longer. To this day I’m still unsure if the cow was even pronounced dead during the kitchen accepting delivery of the meat. Upon complaining our waitress shared our disgust, exclamining that even the sight of the steak was making her feel sick. The staff kindly offered to remove the steak from the final bill and as an apology offered a free round of drinks, all fair and well until the final bill actually came. We were greeted with nothing less than the expectation that we were to pay for the steak, when questioned it was explained that this was down to the head chefs discretion and that the bill would be looked at again to remove the steak. When the second revision of the bill was received, the steak was in fact removed however the “complementary” drink had now made a mysterious apperance on the receipt. Utterly baffling. As well as the drinks now being charged, the waitress also made it very known that she didn’t appreciate being “annihilated” by the customers, despite us being as polite as humanly possible in such a situation. It should also be noted that the whole experience took 2 hours, meaning that our reservation at a cocktail bar was missed. If there is one takeaway from this meal, it’s that I will never be visiting this establishment for as long as I live, which judging by the done-ness of the mouthful of steak I consumed won’t be long. I would love to hear from the restaurant manager to discuss how the establishment deems this encounter as suitable treatment of paying customers.

Very disappointing. I booked private room for my 50th and had someone come to decorate room before arriving she advised me that the manager Darren was rude to her when she arrived and told her to stop whilst he was speaking to some random person. I was advised £20 per head and I paid for extra 2 as they couldn’t go but didn’t want to say. Now checking bill I have been given a £30 service charge which I was never advised about. After settling drinks and food bill no one came to me and asked if everything was ok, so we just up and left even though we had room for another hour and half. Wasn’t willing to spend any more money. Will say food was lovely and bar staff was pleasant enough. But just found the guy Darren very off - not sure if he owner or manager but seriously needs to brush up on manners if he wants people though that door! Everyone asked me today how Bistro 210 was - gave them the honest answer- won’t be back!

SET dinner for Hogmanay and it was excellent. Prompt service that felt personal. Five courses and everything tasted and presented well. The views from sky bar amazing but it was dark so try going during the day . This is our 10th visit probably and never fails to impress me.

Booked the festive afternoon tea online for a pre-panto treat. When it arrived, we were glad to see there were plenty of savoury items, which we prefer over sweet. Everything was delicious, one of the best afternoon teas we've had (and we've had a fair few!). My favourite was the pigs in blankets sausage roll, although a tiny pot of ketchup would've been ideal with it. The cake pop & spiced orange scone were so good. We both had a pink gin, and the bill was a reasonable £48. Staff were friendly, and views over the harbour were great.

Unfortunately not what I expected going by menu and previous reviews. Paid £46 for 3 course Christmas meal, including service charge and excluding drinks. Had a nice private room. Service ran late due to previous sitting. Lots of different groups going about not knowing where they were meant to be. My starter of pate was quite nice, but had 2 small slices of chicken which were wet and looked like they were straight out of a packet. Main course was salmon wrapped in sole but looked more like fried scampi. Totally over done. Cheese board was quite non descript, nothing special. I don't like to give negative reviews but I wouldn't hurry back. Poor value for money and they need to get their act together for better managing multiple groups.

Went for a Prosecco afternoon tea. Was given terrible service from the moment we walked in. Never given a chance to order a drink, never received our Prosecco even though that was noted in the reservation notes. Once we received our food they never checked on us until we were done our food. Food was really good but was overshadowed with how bad the service was. Once we finished our food it was 15 minutes until they cleared our table (which they only cleared half). When we asked for the bill it was another 15 minutes we waited until we finally went to the bar trying to settle and leave. The manage then looked at our table saw we didn’t have Prosecco and saw our gift certificate said Prosecco ignored it and said it was fine and we were good to go. I would never go back to this place, it was clear we were not the only ones that were receiving terrible service. I would highly discourage anyone from going here, the food is good but not worth fighting at each step for service. Very disappointing.

Had an excellent meal with my son. Staff were friendly and looked after us well. I had the half lobster and my son had the burger. Good views across the harbour. Unexpected find. Would go again next time I'm in Aberdeen.

An interesting space in a part of Aberdeen you wouldn't expect. Probably made more accessible in recent years by being close to Union Sq. Restaurant week brought us here but will be back again as the food and location are very good.

First time here and an absolute delight. Excellent lunch. I had the salt and pepper pork belly with a black pudding crumb which was absolutely fabulous. We both had the chicken Schnitzel dish which again was very tasty and plenty of it. My partner completed the meal with salted banana pudding which she said was very tasty but perhaps a scoop of ice cream would have made it even better. All in all a great experience and somewhere that we shall return to in the near future. Very friendly and helpful staff also.

We came here for my wifes birthday and to be honest, left very disappointed. Arrived and were shown to our table, great views of the harbour. Ordered cocktails which were great and orders for food were taken. It then took 50 mins for us to recieve our starters, by which time our drinks were empty, 2nd drinks order taken and a further 20 mins for our drinks to arrive. Starters were very good once they did arrive, however the main meal took a further 35 mins to arrive after taking our plates away. I ordered the "dirty burger" in which the meat was very dry and arrived without half the bun. Not sure if it was an off night for them or if they were a bit too pre-occupied with the larger parties which were also in the restaraunt but dont think we'll be going back.

Absolutely beautiful, food was excellent, service was superb.Staff are friendly,helpful and courteous. Would definitely recommend for any dining experience. We went for a quiet intimate meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary for just the two of us and will be back again soon.

Took my wife here for her birthday. We have had a takeaway valentines cook at home meal from here and it was good. We always wanted to go back and try the restaurant. On 3rd floor you get a really good, if unusual, view of the harbour. On a bright early summer night it was lovely. The men is very good with lots of good choices. The food is very well prepared with some interesting, not the normal, tastes and flavours. My wife had tempura scallops to start and the were lovely. My lamb duo as main was fantastic. Friendly service. We will return. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a Supper Club, set menu on Thursday night, everything was so delicious, well presented and great value for money. Service was also first class 😊 Will definitely be back 😊

Table for 7 pre-booked for over a month 745pm sitting. On arrival advised they only had 1 sirloin steak left, they'd run out of olives, they could only do 1 seafood sharing platter after accepting our starter order for 3 platters, the red wine took an age to come out and we were advised further bottles would be cold from the cellar, the pigeon substitute for seafood platter was rubbery, the lamb main had only 2 small pieces and the gluten free version had to be sent back due to containing gluten (no alternatives were available and were advised would have to check with head chef who later served 15 minutes after everyone else). Poor waitress had to work multiple tables by herself with little to no support from more senior staff who appeared to be doing nothing. Atmosphere was cold and sterile office block feel with poor signage where to go for lift, stairs and toilets. Very poor and will not be back or recommend

I booked 210 Bistro for my 40th and hired the 1st floor private function room - in my opinion one of the most beautiful small function rooms in Aberdeen! Food was great, communication on the lead up to the event was fantastic, and the service on the day from Adele and her team was faultless. Thank you so much Lainey.

Great food and selection of drinks, some of the best food We've had in a while, and the ice cream to finish was absolutely sublime!

Went here on a date night with my husband and unfortunately we were not very impressed by the service or the food. Our starters were nice but when it came to the main courses it was disappointing, I had the duck breast which didn't really taste of anything and my husband had the steak which was over seasoned and the fat wasn't cooked. The staff didn't offer him any alternative eg veg when he asked could I have something else instead of mushroom and tomato please nothing was done about it. For what you get its overpriced and the service is poor, no one came over to our table to see how things were which isn't good. I don't think we will be back due to the quality of the mains and poor service from the staff.

For a Xmas night out the dinner was pretty good and service excellent

The steak was burnt, waiters never came to ask if we wanted dessert, and we waited a long time to be able to pay. On top of this, the atmosphere was extremely noisy and it was hard to talk to our family. I don't understand all the good reviews when the food was very unimpressive and looked nothing like the pictures.

Great views from the sky bar. Service was faultless. Food was really good quality and very well cooked. Only niggle was that at the end of the meal we were still hungry as the starter and main portion sizes were really small. Got the venison loin special and it could have been amazing but the sizing is why I've marked it a 4/5.

We went to the tasting menu night (Thursdays). The food was amazing - innovative, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. I had avocado salad, veggie haggis scotch egg, and apple pie with calvados ice cream. It was a very high standard for the price - fresh and homemade, top quality ingredients. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, but not overbearing. The evening ambiance was lovely too, with subdued lighting, real pillar candles, and amazing views over the harbour. Highly recommended to others.

Bistrò superlativo! Se siete in zona dovete assolutamente passare (prenotate). Il bistrò si trova al terzo piano che da sul porto e ha quindi una bella vista. Abbiamo preso 2 piccoli antipasti, un hamburger del giorno e una bistecca di Angus più due dolci fatti in casa. Prezzi assolutamente accessibili. Si respira italianità sopratutto nella scelta di piccoli ingredienti che fanno la differenza, infatti uno degli chef è italiano. Davvero complimenti.

Booked a conference dinner for 20+ people at 210 Bistro in June 2022. The food was great and the service was excellent. All went smoothly and the guests had a wonderful time. Really great experience!

Itison Deal, 5 tasting dishes and a bottle of Proseco! Cooked fresh should have taken a photo, but got the view! Good value for money. Have to come back!

We had a lovely family dinner here last night. The service was amazing, very friendly staff and they went out of their way to cater to some very difficult dietary requirements. The food was all top quality and delicious. We were in the pop up sky bar which has lovely views over the harbour. They have a lift so it is fully accessible. I would highly recommend👌

Rihanna was our bartender this evening while visiting 210 bistro for a drink. I have never received such great service and had such a friendly bartender while out in Aberdeen. 10/10 will be returning soon.

Came here for the tasting menu during restaurant week, food was fantastic particularly the pigeon which should be a permanent feature on the menu and the cocktails were good too. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, will definitely be back!

Great place for first aid training

I never, ever leave bad reviews but felt compelled to warn people about the dire food at 210 Bistro. I can honestly say it was the oddest meal we’ve ever eaten. I had the tuna steak which tasted nothing like any fish I’ve ever had....

Thalia was our 3rd attempt during Covid restrictions and so pleased that my husband persuaded me that we could enjoy an alcohol free lunch . We ate I. The Skybar with such spectacular views that I have asked to book it for a milestone birthday next year- fingers crossed . Food was excellent. I have a garlic intolerance advised in advance so suitable food was highlighted . Cannot fault the venue, food and covid service ! Go there - but don’t take our table !

Was a wonderful experience, we went early so we could enjoy the views of the sun going down, views of the harbour were stunning. Then there's the food, everything was delicious, excellent quality for the prices. The staff were very attentive and it felt very well organised and covid safe.

I ordered an Afternoon Tea delivery for my parents. It arrived on time, delivered by a friendly lady and went down a storm. They enjoyed all the treats and even had some left for the next day. I also found the communication with Adele very efficient and friendly.Would definitely recommend 210 Bistro. I hope to visit when we are able to.

Small plate starters were very good. We all had different mains and we were all happy with meal. Wine was good.<br />They ran out of 2 different beers.

If I could I would give this place 10 stars. Very friendly staff. Dishes are marvelous, beginning from starters, then mains and drinks. I wouldn't even be able to pick my favourite cause it all was so tasty. Highly recommended. Definitely will visit again and try something else 😁

We dropped in today for some lunch, great service and excellent food.

Attended a 4 day training course here but also used the restaurant area at lunchtimes. The facilities are clean and fresh and the staff are all approachable and friendly. The menu is a mixture of traditional dishes with some unique ideas mixed in. Good choice of draught & craft beers available at reasonable prices. All in all a good little find however limited parking unless you use the Union Square Car Park.

Great staff and good food. Good selection of wine, beers and spirits. Good for sit down food, just drinks or nibbles.

We were not impressed with the food we ordered. We all had battered fish with chips. The batter was not light &amp; crispy, but uncooked &amp; soggy. Not pleasant to eat. Maybe it was just a bad choice. Would not recommend.

La comida aquí suele ser excelente, pero me quedé muy decepcionado con el pescado y patatas fritas que pedí. La masa era muy espesa y todavía cruda, tan poco comestible en lugar de crujiente. Le hice saber a la camarera y me ofrecieron una disculpa, pero no ofrecí llevarla de vuelta a la cocina y reemplazarla. Pensará dos veces antes de regresar.

Great food!! I also love the change in the menu with every season, it's always a surprise to find out their specialty.

Poor service it took over half an hour to get a drink, then everything slow after that, the staff were under pressure in a restaurant that was at best half full

Great locations with seeing the boats come into the harbour😃 food was delicious and really great how the menu is changed every season. Proves the chef cares about what food is in season. We will definitely be coming back.
