200 Degrees Coffee Shop in Sheffield

Extremely pleasant staff! It’s not often I am in sheffield and this visit to the city wasn’t under great circumstances, however I stopped by 200 degrees… Gabriel brightened the day, and stuck to being an angel and I can’t thank him (and the wider team) enough for their kind personas, hospitality and generosity! I didn’t get to try the pastries unfortunately however they were very tempting and I bet almost as good as the coffee. Thanks for cracking not only the beans but also a smile on my face!

First time visiting here and the coffee was lovely, one of the nicest brews we have had in a long time 😀 We'll be back again soon !!!!

Lovely staff and lots of room but the coffee is indifferent and the food quite poor. A step up from Costa but not by much. It seems to be so easy to find a decent coffee in the wider Sheffield but the city centre is just a dead loss.

Having been a fan of 200 degrees for years, when I visited the Sheffield branch with my partner I was expecting a reliably positive experience. Overall though, it was disappointing. The classic loft-apartment style decor still looks good and the coffee was excellent as you'd expect. However the service was disappointingly show: we ordered via the app and then waited. And waited and waited some more....! Eventually our drinks arrived but no food. When the food was finally served we quickly regretted our order. My BLT was a soggy and unhappy affair and almost devoid of taste. Surely it's not that hard to combine a handful of fresh ingredients? This tasted like a motorway service sandwich that had endured a brief encounter with a microwave. Terrible. I understand that 200 degrees are revamping their food menu so perhaps some improvements will be made but this meal was truly dismal and far below the standard you would expect in a premium coffee shop. And without some major changes to the front of house service you could be waiting a long time for it too.

We met our daughter and grandson in Sheffield and before we went for a meal we called into 200 degrees. We had two teas, a coffee and a milk shake. It was busy, friendly and relaxing the drinks were good too.

I’m really disappointed . I was one of their first customer , and I used to go there as pregnant then with the pram like almost every day . Today me and my friend both with 2 toddlers been told off that the kids couldn’t walk around . And this is not the first time , the staff is really rude - to a point that my friend had to leave the place ! … .Shame cause the coffe is really good and the owner is super nice ! But if the staff is rude then is a slippery slope : felt embarrassed today cause the staff attracted everybody’s attention to us ! ☹️ there are plenty of coffe shops around so not stepping into that place ever again . They don’t tolerate babies or kids . Really disappointed!

I have been a regular customer. However lately the service seems to be slipping down. I visited the shop today and ordered a cup of tea. The man on the counter clearly seems distracted and as I waited for my tea, the lady waitress arrived with a small coffee. Once I advised her of the correct order, she asked me to go to the till and pay for the tea again, which I did. I then waited for almost ten minutes for the tea but it never arrived. There were hardly any customers in the coffee shop waiting for their order. I then noticed the lady making tea gossiping with the some people on the counter and not giving any attention to my order. I had to cancel my order walk away. Absolutely dismal service!

First time at this cafe. Walked in and was unsure if it was table or counter service. After a brief conversation was told to order food and grab a table. There was only one table spare which was dirty. I mentioned this at the counter. My daughter quickly made her food choice and sat at the table. Again I felt I had to make a very quick decision on what to order. I sat down with my daughter and no one came to clear the table. Our drinks arrived and were put down on the dirty table which the server took several trips to clear. Then our food arrived. (No attempt was made to wipe the table clean). The food was a disappointment. Cheap ingredients and poorly presented. Also, a lot of the staff didn’t have their hair tied back. This is basic food hygiene. I won’t be back.

Was so happy to stumble upon this coffee shop on a recent trip to Sheffield. So friendly, excellent coffee and lovely cakes. The WiFi is really good so you could work there and there is a QR code to order from your table. Highly recommend!

I came across this cafe from a poem I recently read about the moon: so glad I popped in for tea and cake. It has a very artistic Bohemian feel to it, very relaxing, with a tempting choice of cakes.

The staff are trying their best, but service is slow compared to other popular coffee chains. 10% more expensive than those chains too without any gain.

What a nice little find! The staff are brilliant and a real credit to the 200 degree chain. 22/10/21 the 2 ladies who were serving us- you were great and never stop being yourself! Such a nice friendly vibe, we’ll come again!

Lovely cafe. Good prices, with seasonal drinks that sound amazing. Unfortunately I didn’t get the drink I wanted but the drink they replaced mine with was still delicious!

This café is quite large and when I was here it was quite busy. Great atmospere. A bit lacking in comfy seats but there are 2 by the electric light ‘fire’ . I ordered an Aeropress coffee, Kiwi lime and mint juice drink and a Vegan sausage roll. They only had vegan brownie as a dessert so I passed on that. I sat by the ‘fire’ and pretty soon the juice and roll arrived, the café board had warned me that the Aeropress would take a little longer. I have had Aeropress in other places so when it came I was a bit disappointed that it was acid tasting and lacking coffee taste. I asked for another which was duly provided, and which was lovely and tasty. The Vegan sausage roll was pretty good and the juice was very good. Pleasant staff who were happy to replace the coffee.

Top class all-round experience. Spoke to a lovely lady about the sourcing, roasting and traceability of their coffee beans and the difference between their blends on offer. She was very helpful and knew all about their products which makes a nice change from the usual, impersonal service from large coffee shop chains. Delicious drinks and cake and even bought a bag of their own beans to brew at home. Was very pleased to see that the beans are traceable to the single farm on which they were grown, especially for likeminded coffee enthusiasts! Will definitely be returning when I’m next in Sheffield. Superb!

Called in about 9.30 am. It was fairly busy. Friendly staff but coffee took a long time to arrive. £3 for a smallish cappuccino. Music too loud, so as a result people were talking louder to compensate. I chose a table at the back but it was in the vacinity of the entrance to the toilets - the smell was very unpleasant.

My favourite cup is flat white. Unbelievable, they served me with rose drawing in my cup. Definitely go back again. Also I love the decorations and their design. 💕

I Love this shop and the food and drink are always great but the customer service from the waitressing staff today while struggling to find a place to sit somewhere in a busy lunch left me feeling like I will try somewhere else in future.

Second visit in a week and stayed for lunch. I had a lovely baguette with some proper lemonade. Very busy but managed to find a seat, staff are very helpful. Great place to go for a coffee or a light lunch.

Proof there are still great places out there that don't have a gazillion postive Tripadvisor reviews. Have visited several times over the last year, and 200 Degrees has been consistently excellent. Friendly staff, fantastic sandwiches and fine coffee. Totally recommended!

This one of the best cafes in Sheffield. I’ve tried the flat white and it was good 8 out of 10. I think 200 degrees in Leeds has the best flat white. The location is good and the overall atmosphere is great.
