Went in to order. Don't accept card. Tried to order online to collect and the prices are more expensive than advertised in store. Didn't order and left

Always a good place to go for a decent coffee and a chill

This review is for the show that was located in the violin room. This old historic building is both beautiful but clearly showing its age. As I ascended the amazing staircase I did have to dodge the puddle and drip from the roof. A safety cone had been put out but I feared the danger remained. The upstairs bar was small but staffed before the show. A lack of seating have everyone shuffling and looking uncomfortable. The floor is also, amazingly old and worn, is slightly uneven and leaves you feeling like your on a boat. The fire place was a nice touch. The football table was entertaining while we waited. Once in the violin room, there was plenty of room about 80 chairs laid out for the show. It was clean and nice. A little disconcerting having a window taped up with bin bags, I assume to make it darker. Lighting was good and sound good. A small stage had been made and the act could be seen fine from where I was. Sound was good, he had a microphone. Over all the experience was ok. Staff were super helpful and friendly. They just need to get their leak sorted.
