Had 2 burgers that were tasty. Arrived hot and had good taste.the only thing I would say the smashed burgers that are advertised are not smashed patties and are your standard 1/4lb burgers . nonetheless would order again

I went there this morning with friends and we were thrilled with the amazing food that was fairly priced and excellent drinks. The staff was friendly and altogether a great atmosphere. Definitely would recommend and i will be going there again

Went to KFC but there were no tables and spotted this next to it so I thought I will try it. I have ordered Dynamite chicken burger. When it was served it looked really plain and burned. It tasted the same. Very dry, salty and burned. There were 3 options of heat - medium, hot and insane. I ordered insane and it was barely medium, maybe due to the lack of sauce they put it in. After eating I have looked on the menu again and noticed that my burger should come with lettuce which my didn't have but it was too late to mention it. Unfortunately will not be back again. It would be 1 star but fries were good so extra star for that. Btw it was Saturday lunch time and place was empty. I think due to the fan heater on the ceiling on full blast. I had to change table twice just go find the right spot as I couldn't breathe it was so hot in there.

TL;DR - great food, but service is lacking. I've ordered from here a few times myself. The food is amazing, much more premium than other burger places in town. Top notch stuff 👌 I also work as an Uber & Just Eat delivery driver and frequently collect orders from here. Last week was the third time I had a really bad experience. I arrived, gave the staff my order number, and was told to wait 15 minutes. That's totally understandable - it's a busy Friday night and they had plenty of walk-in customers. I came back after 15 mins, and enquiried about my order, and was told to come back in 20 mins. The member of staff didn't even check my order details, just fobbed me off with the 20 minutes. I had to tell him I've already waited 15 minutes and asked if he can double check whether the order is ready. He kindly checked and insisted I wait another 20 minutes. No apology, totally indifferent and carried on talking to someone else. I don't mind waiting - in fact, I expect it. But I draw the line at outright lying to people, or at the very least, setting false expectations. If you can't manage your delivery orders in a timely manner - go offline for a bit, pause. If you don't know how long an order will take to prepare - just tell me that and be honest! Customers and drivers alike won't usually mind waiting - as long as we're told about it and expectations are managed. That way I'll know to cut my losses immediately and unassign myself from it, or come back in half an hour, on the off chance it'll be ready by then. I'll be happy to update my review if, in future, I've had a positive experienced consistently over multiple visits.

Incredibly rude customer service agent Sharon gave me the wrong order and then upon complaining about it made me wait 15 to 20 minutes without any feedback. Then she proceeded to argue with me about the order and wouldn't agree to switch it and argued that I'd eaten the order when I hadn't and without them checking the facts. Wasted my entire lunch hour and shoddy customer service with very overpriced menu for what it is. I will never return to this store again. On top of their very bad customer service for example leaving the shop front empty for 5 to 10 minute at a time, failed to acknowledge their mistake or apologise to any extent

4/10 is generous. Food has next to no flavour or is too salty no inbetween. Go wingstop instead

Ten burgers are expensive and had to wait like 20 mins for one. Taste is not like the money they take.

Actually for the money a decent burger and fries, at least as good as Burger King with a variety of different burgers. I had hollumi with a chill sauce. Very nice.

AVOID! Food was cold, had been sitting there for an hour and twenty minutes. Paid £21.51 for two burgers that were smaller than my hand, and 4 boneless bites that tasted bland. Food was horrible, and SO overpriced.

DO NOT ORDER TAKEAWAY. Ordered food tonight and it took over 50 minutes to arrive, when the food showed up the chicken was cold and the fries were soggy! Even the delivery driver complained about the restaurant! AVOID ORDERING DELIVERY

I asked for a plain chicken burger. I explained this meant that the burger would have nothing on it except for the chicken itself. The woman I spoke to still kept on asking me if I wanted stuff (like gherkins) on it or not. I never said anything about taking my order out for collection, but they put my burger wrapped in foil in a paper bag. When I confronted them about this, they said I’m supposed to use the foil as a plate. They have no plates. They should explained this beforehand. Also, I couldn’t understand the servers accents the entire time. The chicken burger was bad. It was too greasy and I feel like the chicken was raw. On the inside, it was slightly pink and when I bit into it felt like I was biting into muscle. I was the only person waiting for my meal in the restaurant, and it still took the staff a long time to prepare my meal.

Go to McDonald’s instead , or subway which are both nearby , You will save yourself an absolute fortune by dodging this place . My friend ordered a double burger with only one patty inside and mould on the bun. Markets it’s self as an authentic American diner which reflects their high prices but have cheap nasty ketchup and mayo sachets and serving drinks in a can when sitting in , it’s an overpriced Chicken shop at best , seriously do not be fooled by the California and New York licence plates on the wall .

I like trying places other than your usual fast food joint. Unfortunately walking across the street away from "12th Street" would have been the better option. Friendly staff, but EXTREMELY slow service, and then they got our order wrong. We kept the food anyway, because the wait for the food was too long the first time round. The wings are tiny, and I told my daughter off when she said she didnt like her burger... until I tasted it, and had to apologise to her for telling her off because it was horrific. The onion rings were good though, but I'm not going back there just for the onion rings.

Burgers was delicious, we ordered the buffalo fries had way too much sauce on , we then ordered their dynamite BBQ chicken Wings which took 30 minutes to come out! ,service was ok With a few tweeks this place could be amazing.

Ordered 2 burgers and they got the order completely wrong. Had to go back there and they claimed it was my fault cos it was closing time. I had ordered my food at 11:30pm and they close at 1am. Went back to the shop at 12am. They had an hour till close. Not impressed. By the time he had sorted my food it was cold. Would not go back

If I could give this place no stars I would. The food was greasier then a skillet full of oil and dry, very dry at the same time. Also it was so bland I didn’t even think it was possible

Avoid, do not waste your money. The food is overpriced and its very poor quality. The burger was burnt and the chicken tasted like it was old. Also ordered the cookie dough but was given a milkshake instead, staff were very unhelpful.

BBQ Crispy Chicken Burger was quite good, so were the wings. Shakes are yummy as well. Maddy was quite cheerful, kudos to him.

The most average burgers, we paid £25 for 2 burgers and one fries. We ordered cheesy steak burger they gave us normal ground beef burger with a cheese that wasn’t even melted , the other burger was dry and burned. Horrible do not recommend . Save yourself the money and go to McDonalds it’s cheaper and tastes better

Ordered on just eat. Took the delivery but there was a burger missing. When I called the restaurant they were very unhelpful and rude and said that due to the fact they don't have their own drivers there's nothing they can do. They took no accountability and did not offer another burger to be sent. They said I would have to order and pay for another! Not acceptable.

The food was really good, had the half and half fried wings in garlic butter and buffalo flavours. Loved the garlic butter ones the most. The fries were good too and went well with the dips. The ambience was good and our server Ovi was very cordial and friendly. Hope to go back there again.

Had lunch in there the other day , chips were from the previous day i ve asked them to be change , guy didn t pay atention to anything didn t bring us the drinks and also a few guys were taking the bin bags out through the restaurant a couple of times leaving the bin juice on the floor and the smell . Worth the visit for sure. Staff are good people, beef burger was flavoursome - not dripping wet all over the place - just good and filling, chicken burger nice and saucy. The cookie dough desert was very rich, good for two people to share. There’s a good range of choices, I’m trying the double patty burgers next. And the interior is very nicely done! Will be back for more on my next visit

Twice now we have ordered and didn't get what we ordered. Thought we'd give benefit of the doubt first time as was a busy Saturday No option to get a refund on just eat, just having to wait for them to respond via email. Food is disappointing at best, over cooked chicken wings and soggy chips drenched in far too much sauce. Will not be returning

Smash burgers just yes. Tried this place many times gotta say very tasty and well seasoned. Burgers always were a hit. Fries are crispy and especially with the dips, honey mustard to be precise. Tried the buffalo style fries they were okay I mean I won’t get them again but that’s just me. Buffalo wings I have had on a few occasions and have been really good just once it was lacking a little sauce but all forgiven. Overall really nice spot for Southend. Wish them the best.

Way too many mistakes with the order. No mushrooms or eggs available, instead of contacting us they just didnt include them Wrong amount of onion rings Overcooked, dry meat Too lazy to phone and say they dont have what we ordered but happy to take the money

never had an issue with sides came in this evening to order a technically, a larger size of a mcmuffin and asked for no ketchup due to allergies. spoke to staff to get it replaced, when it came back there was more ketchup. when we spoke to another staff (who was in the kitchen when i was ordering) to get it replaced the staff seemed angry and made someone else to deal with it, they finally gave me my order and finally they got it right.

The food was not so great, wouldn't recommend. But it has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Possibly the best burger I have ever had. No exaggeration. Shake was a bit sickly and overpriced but the burger alone is enough for a 5 star review.

Ignore the 1 star and 5 star reviews. I think this is a fair sum up. In nutshell, if you’re a fan of Five Guys you won’t think much of these burgers, they’re not on the same level and the burgers are a little smaller. That being said they are satisfactory patties and you get a good amount of chips with your meal deal. I had the 12th street burger meal deal. Very satisfactory and filling!

So good! I dont get all the 1 star reviews!?!?! This place is amazing, the chips have gotta be the best chips ive ever had and the breakfast bun is so tasty. Lamb bacon is genius!!! Just ordered one and i cant wait for it to get here. Ordered from uber eats loads of times and the delivery is always quick and the food is always still nice and hot! Awesome place!

Was expecting cheesey fries with melted cheese it came with a horrible cheesy sauce tasted disgusting when I changed my mind to eat in the girl said that's fine but said to her colleague she wants to eat in like it was an inconvenience the guy kept wiping his mouth with the tea shirt uniform and the girl kept touching her mouth with her hand the burger came in a brioche bun which is so wrong it was greasy and not very nice will not go there again

This is my absolute favourite restaurant at all time , 12th street burger , Southend on sea , the food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal, waiters are also great , great atmosphere and lovely staff can’t wait to return and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat other than 12th street burger. Ps- The day I meet Gordon Ramsay at the opening day on 23th I couldn’t be more happier🤗

Save your money and go to Nando’s… Really wanted to enjoy this place however for the price Nando’s delivers so much better and literally the same price. Peri Peri chips were a joke…more seasoning found at the bottom of my spice rack. Chicken burger was a frozen burger from Iceland, nothing wrong with this however not for £10!!! Nothing homemade, everything could of been bought from a supermarket and made at home yourself. Such a shame as would of loved to support a local small business rather than a large chained enterprise but they only delivered disappointment 😩

Firstly my order had missing item! Called the shop no answer even though they were still open! The food didn't look or taste any good and the meats all had a very strong unpleasant smell, one of the burgers which had egg in ALSO HAD EGG SHELLS IN IT! It was the worst I've ever had and will not be eating from there again after wasting £40 which was not worth the money for what arrived!

Not only did I wait over 40mins but what was served was absolute slop. Fully loaded fried and one burger sent back as it was cold. The replacement fries were also cold but by this time it was over an hour so we decided to eat them. When all the deliveries (just eat, deliveroo etc) were sent away saying over half an hour wait I decided to have a look at pick up times. Just eat was not accepting orders and deliveroo had 55 min delivery…. BUT…. As I finished my burger I looked at the menu on deliveroo and discovered that ALL the meat was halal. This was not advertised on ANY menu and when I questioned the manager why is this not advertised she said there is a small sign on the door. I felt sick to my stomach as I would not have chosen to eat in this establishment had I known.

Waited over 40 minutes for the food to turn up the the fully loaded fries are cold and look like my burger just been thrown together. Had it remade 15 more minutes for the fries to turn up in 25 minutes for the burgers turn up as as I was eating my burger someone’ around me said it’s halal meat the only sign that says it’s halal meat is on the front door which is really small and says 100% halal There was nothing on the menu above, the cashier I do not eat halal never going there again There was a lot of people receiving refunds

The burgers were definitely overpriced the food took too long to come and the burgers were extremely salty !! Told the staff they said they couldn’t do much about it. Overall not the best place to go to, also waste of money, Definitely Do Not recommend

Popped in for a bite to eat with the missis. Was greeted by a lovely member of staff (Marianne). We ordered the half and half wings and a shake each. It has to be hands down the best wings I’ve eaten in a long time. Was a fantastic experience, cannot wait to pop back in

Why no menu on line and only one pic of something that looks like a Yorkshire pudding?

The quality of the burgers were really good. Warm brioche buns with fresh veggies and quality meat. Decent prices too. Also recommend the dynamite wings which has many customization choices too. Mango magic milk shake was excellent too

Quite a nice place on the Southend high street. Marina was really friendly and welcoming. Food was nice and tasty! Only criticism is the really weak plastic cutlery and the cheap condiment sachets. Would have added something to my meal if you had less watery ketchup etc. Perhaps even Heinz? thank you
