Covid Safe, Thoroughly enjoyed the food, so tasty and plenty of it! Even had a few cheeky cocktails. Can’t wait to return. I cannot work out why this restaurant isn’t right at the top of the trip advisor list for Ely? If you haven’t been go!

I totally recommend 11A for lunch and drinks although the menu is limited the food was excellent quality and large portions. The service although very attentive was very slow, without doubt we would have ordered more cocktails had it not taken 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken and a further 20 minutes to get a drink. That said the cocktails are very good. The kitchen closed at 2.30 and we were unable to order from the dessert menu. I observed another table with an afternoon tea at midday; which looked absolutely wonderful. It would appear that a trick is being missed as 11A as the kitchen closes before most people would choose to have tea My advice is keep the kitchen open your product is excellent just a bit slow. We will be returning.

Food was excellent. Cocktails were delicious. Service was phenomenal (Johnny was our server and we wish we were rich so that we could tip him the millions he deserves). Atmosphere was fantastic. I genuinely cannot praise this place enough!

A first class dining experience as always with 11a. After rather a stressful day in the office, this amazing ‘Charcuterie’ board & a cold bottle of white wine was just what I needed! I dined with my friend, who ordered the ‘pork’ board and wow, that looked just as amazing ! I was greedy and ordered a sharing board (didn’t finish it I may add) so there is plenty for just £15!!! The deserts were equally delicious, and just enough! The ‘boards’ are new to 11a and I can’t stress enough how delicious they were! I will return, and try some of the others! Credit to the staff tonight who were impeccably polite, the restaurant was spotless and Covid-Secure. Hope the photos will tempt you 🤗

Visited the Ely area on holiday and picked out 11A as our restaurant of choice whilst in town. Service and food excellent (and reasonably priced) and was struck by the personality of the duty manager (male) throughout our evening. Great cocktails too, as well as very good social distancing measures in place. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone local or visiting the area.

Had an amazing 3 course meal with cocktails on Saturday 15th August. Food was delicious, well cooked and presented. Ditto for the cocktails. Staff were lovely (if a bit slow but that’s to be expected in the current environment given the limitations on the number of staff allowed in the kitchen for social distancing to be maintained)

Not sure what happened on our visit. Went for lunch on their limited (but still good) menu. it was fairly quiet (3 other tables), but service was very slow, and the waiter seemed very clumsy around the COVID rules, and gave a very poor response when we told them we were in a 'rush' (we only had an hour and a half). Drinks were slow, the waiter was back and forward forgetting things. Food was generally good, but nothing amazing. I'm sure we just had an unlucky experience, and would be happy to perhaps try again with their tapas menu.

We went out as a family for lunch. It was not overly busy in there and we had pre booked. We had to wait over 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken. We then asked for them to take our food order to try and speed things up. There only seemed to be 2 front of house staff working and service was very slow. The menu was quite limited, and 2 of the main dishes were not available. We ordered two steaks, and chicken and chips. We asked what one of the dishes were (bravas fries) and the waiter didn’t know so he asked the other man, and the description given was “it’s just the fries with tomato in a tapas dish” what came was potatoes with a spicy tomato sauce covering the potatoes. We waited over an hour and 10 minutes for our food to arrive. I appreciate that the food is cooked fresh, but service was very slow. The people on the table next to us also commented twice to staff about how long things were taking. When we finally got our food, it came out in dibs and drabs, one dish had been forgotten about and we had to remind the waiter for this. We were not given steak knives so we had to ask for them. We were also not asked if we wanted any condiments like salt and pepper. The food was served to us at our table with the waiter passing the plates to us. Yet when we finished the other man asked us to stack all of our plates up for him! We eat out quite often, I know that there are restrictions in place due to Covid but as yet I have never been asked to help clear the table. Overall an experience I do not wish to repeat.

5 of us ate here today. We arrived at 12.30 and told the staff we needed to be finished by 2pm. It took the staff over half an hour to get us all drinks and our straightforward meals didn’t arrive till 1.45. The staff were fairly offhand and explained that they had other diners....yes they did, 2 more tables. Heaven help them if they are full. The food was ok but not a patch on that served when they did tapas. Like the staff we won’t be a hurry to return.

We had a lovely experience at 11a. Fantastic service, staff were very polite and attentive throughout. Cocktails were superb. Starters of aubergine and hallomi were very tasty but steak for our mains were overdone but all in all, a good meal. Would definitely return.

A nice place to go for a fancy dinner in Ely! Great food and atmosphere. We especially liked the paella!

After visiting an event at the Cathedral my friend and I were desperate to get some late lunch. We came across This Spanish bar/restaurant by chance. What a great find. Because of the time after peak lunchtime only a few tables were taken it still had a lovely ambiance. There was good music playing at a comfortable volume. Decor and seating inviting with choices of style and numbers at tables available. We enjoyed three choices of tapas between us and we couldn’t eat it all. Great relaxing experience with well presented delicious food.

We visited "again" 11a last weekend with my partner. This time was different... we discovered the menu had changed ! And WHAT A SURPRISE ! A very interesting menu full. Big choice of Tapas, interesting mains. I personally had the Fish Stew and the flavours genuinely took me to another country, absolutely divine ! We even had the head Chef Fabian coming to our table to serve us the tapas and say hello. All the staff was super attentive and friendly ! We ll see again soon !!!

We went with my partner and It was a spectacular place with an exquisite meal, it is always cooked from fresh ingredients and very good treatment, we will definitely repeat.

We had a lovely time at 11a today. We were seated and served by very welcoming staff. The food came out promptly, it was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. We will definitely be back!

Are you really sure about this when do you get a scotch egg in Spain!! come on try and get it right and the rest of the menu really poor this place can't make up its mind what it wants to be.Shame the food used to be good and service much better

Very good food and service but the salad and ceviche were served on hot plates, and when we complained we were told there were only hot plates in the kitchen!!! Obviously not enough common sense to put under cold tap for 10 seconds, or else couldn't care. A real shame as this unprofessional attitude let down an otherwise excellent meal. If you are having a cold dish here, make clear that it must be served on a cold plate.

Went for evening meal with friend, for a special meal. Looked at menu online as my friend is vegan, and were happy with idea of going.Unfortunately we were only presented with a dinner menu on arrival, no vegan options. She chose a vegetarian option instead, however this situation seemed a bit odd. The drinks were very pricy for what you get, almost London prices, as my cocktail was £8.50. A mocktail was £5.50Food and service was good, reasonably priced and different. Friend commented that the mushroom became a bit much after a while, but overall happyFelt a bit odd that a Saturday evening was so quiet, there were only a few other tables taken, but did not put us off

Since moving into the area a little over a year ago, 11a has become a firm favorite, owing mainly to the sumptuous decor, amazing cocktails and wonderful staff. Every time my wife and I visit, we are so well looked after, they really make such an effort to ensure that we have a fantastic time.

Visiting wonderful Ely for a long weekend and being foodies we naturally checked out 11a ; first for mid day drinks , as a wine bar . The welcome was warm and open . And surprisingly our drinks were accompanied by a full-sized complimentary tapas of a bass ceviche, and it was delicious. It also decided us to book dinner here for the following night . We arrive on time and are soon shown to our table . Drinks come promptly and we order from a small but well balanced menu . Unfortunately the wine menu is quite small and not particularly appealing, nor well suited to the quality of food being served .

I had my first and last visit last night with two friends who had been before. Sadly the menu online (even today) does not match what they are actually serving. Apparently the menu changed earlier this week and if we’d seen it, we wouldn’t have gone. We hadn’t been told this when we booked over a week ago and anyone booking today should defo check by phone because the online menu isn’t correct.

5 of us ladies visited for a traditional afternoon tea & savoury afternoon tea.

Called in for lunch whilst visiting Ely. We were told there would be a 30 to 40 minute wait for food which surprised us as there only appeared to be four tables occupied, however on the positive side it seemed that food must be freshly prepared.

Was introduced to this place by the wife and have to admit was pleasantly surprised. Very good place to visit if you only want a coffee or a full on meal with drinks. I’m not a cocktail drinker but my wife says they are the best in town!

Four of us had lunch in 11A yesterday and we were very pleased to find the food was as excellent as it had been on our previous visit. We were greeted by a friendly waitress and shown to our table. A cocktail to sip while we perused the menu, then a lovely meal followed by superb pudding and coffee. We all had a lovely afternoon and fully intend to return. Thank you

Me and my friends popped in last weekend because we heard 11a offered a new selection of cocktail. More than 50 to be exact! How amazing is that for Ely?

Delicious afternoon tea and mocktails! I treated my mother in law to afternoon tea and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. I asked for some of the sandwich fillings to he changed as I couldn't eat some of them and they were very accommodating. Will definitely return.

Popped in here with friends and enjoyed several cocktails which were made by a lovely barman called Daniel, He was really friendly & took the time to explain what was in the cocktails and recommended some to us and we were not disappointed! Watching him make the Cocktails was great too. We will definitely be back very soon!

Called in here last week for a couple of cocktails as it was a friend's birthday on the Saturday. Got chatting to the Bar tenders Dan and Tim; Ended up enjoying a flaming Zombie with some 67% rum in a passion fruit shell. Great stuff and definitely something different for Ely. A very enjoyable experience; cheers Gents! Would recommend the cocktail list for sure.

We had a lovely meal here with delicious food. My husband had the cheese soufflé and I had scallops - both of which were excellent. The cod masala was beautifully cooked and my falafel and bean burger was great - rather too much to eat with the huge fries/wedges. The crumble was very tasty as was the brûlée. Would definitely eat here again.

Visited 11a last Saturday evening with friends for supper - great menu choice, excellent dishes with courteous and smiling table service !! The place really has a great vibe and were impressed by the whole dining experience - we will make a point of returning soon - a real gem of a find !!

I met with 3 friends for lunch and we decided to try 11A. We were not disappointed- Shannon served us, she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. At first I thought from the menu, it was a vegetarian/vegan restaurant but there was a good selection of burgers and fish and chip options too. Portions were good size, the burgers looked amazing! My salad was good and the dessert of malted milk parfait with chocolate mousse was fab! All in all a good meal in nice surroundings, good service and we were not rushed so had a good catch up!

I have been here a few time when doing business in Ely, and I can say we have never been disappointed with the quality of the food and wonderful service, it’s so nice to walk-in a place and the staff remember your name.

I just love this place. The cocktails are amazing! The food is second to none and the bar man Tim is truly amazing - he will do any cocktail you like and make it better than you could imagine. Please visit this place - it’s fantastic!!

It’s really nice to see a varied menu, and as the waitress explained to us everything is made fresh and in house. For the variety on the menu this is a rarity, especially considering all that we had was absolutely delicious.

I have enjoyed going to Eleven A since they opened and am never disappointed in the range of delicious cocktails available. The staff are always welcoming and deliver great quality service. The food is delicious and I'd highly recommend it.

My favourite place in Ely for coffee, cocktails and food! We recently came for a family dinner with a party of 13 and had a great evening. The staff were so welcoming and attentive and the food was fabulous. It's no mean feat to deliver all the meals at the same time for such a large number of people but the service was seamless and the food up to its usual excellent quality. I regularly pop in for a coffee and, in my opinion, the quality, value for money and atmosphere is so much better than the chain coffee bars.

Have dined here approximately half a dozen times over the past few months and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food and service.

Such a great service, the staff is just so friendly and always looking after you. The food is really great and with such a great ambience its definitely in my list of 5 Stars. Will surely come back more times. The cocktails are great and I did miss the caipirinhas so was really happy to be able to have a couple.

We visited 11a today for a family lunch! The food was so lovely, we shared the whitebait, the crab, the mussels and the haddock rarebit. All those fish dishes were really enjoyable in this hot weather :) First class service from the staff we will be back soon!

I've been wishing for a bar that does good quality cocktails in Ely for a while, safe to say I've found it. After a recommendation, I was a little skeptical seeing as it seemed to be more of a restaurant, however the small bar area at the front provides a great atmosphere, especially as they opened until late on the Friday I went. The staff had a great knowledge of cocktails, including the classics which were not on their menu! (I am always annoyingly particular) I was greatly accommodated too and had a great time with my girlfriend in a relaxed and high quality late environment, which I can't wait to go back to soon

I went to 11a yesterday for lunch and I was so happy to feel the cold air when I came in! The lunch menu offers loads of varieties for everyone taste and it's such a good value for money! The drinks were lovely so as the staff and we will definitely be coming back to try the dinner menu! Genuinely can't wait!!!

I came to 11a for an Afternoon Tea to celebrate my sisters birthday. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. We had the Savoury, Cheese and Traditional options and the food was outstanding! So much choice and truly delicious! We even took what we didn’t eat home as we couldn’t bare the thought of leaving it behind. The service was friendly, welcoming and really made the whole experience.

I came to 11A last Friday night and had the best time with my friends. I had heard that the cocktail menu had changed and it definitely did for the better. Thankfully I wasn’t driving as I wanted to try at least five of them. Wonderful atmosphere, great music and the staff were very welcoming! Will definitely recommend a night out at 11A!!!

I had dinner at 11a last Saturday and everything was lovely. The way we have been greeted at the bar to the table was really professional. The scallops and the cod masala was absolutely delicious. My partner had the Cheese Souffle and a burger and really enjoyed that!

I discovered 11a last month. A lovely restaurant hidden on Forehill. We went there with my friends for Sunday Brunch,the food was outstanding and so cheap ! Terrific value for money we will be back :)

We (my wife and I) have had lunch twice at Eleven A. And the food and service were excellent. The cocktails were great but a special mention for the truffle fries which were delicious. We will definitely be going again. I honestly couldn't find fault with the place.

We’ve eaten here a few times for lunch and one for Sunday Brunch and we really love it. The interior is well done and there’s a nice laid back atmosphere. We’re always made to feel welcome and not rushed at all. They do a good selection of meals including vegetarian and vegan. The tofu Thai curry is amazing. They also do fish and burgers. We would definitely recommend this place.

We (party of 5) visited on a Saturday and it wasn't hectically busy, which was lovely as the staff had a proper conversation with us. We mixed our own cocktails as our entertainment and it was great! Friendly staff with lots of helpful hints for making the cocktails pretty! 10/10 would recommend.

I went here with a friend for the first time last night. The staff were outstanding, attentive but not too overpowering, friendly but not invasive. They have got the customer service just right. The food was outstanding, we had a starter and main course with a lovely bottle of Chardonnay. Couldn't fault it. Freshly cooked but didn't have to wait ages and the ingredients used was very good quality. I have recently had to choose for Gluten Free options, these were clearly marked along with other allergy advice. The food is presented in a delightful way but the portion sizes just right for my friend and I, who both have healthy appetites. There was live music while we ate which again was excellent and added to the atmosphere. A bit of classical would also fit in well here. We left our table and had a night-cap at the bar which also had lovely staff. This was an excellent experience, so much so that I would go as far to say my favourite eating place in Ely. I will be telling all my friends and be back soon. Thank you for a lovely evening. Ps I hear the cocktails are excellent too ;) 5* all round for us.

I had dinner with a friend Wednesday evening and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the salmon with risotto. It was very tasty and nicely presented. Maybe could have done with a bit of extra veg or salad. Dessert - baked Chocolate pudding - was delicious. Thank you

It is a lovely place to enjoy a drink or cocktail but the food has deteriorated when first opened was great.

I have visited 11a several times now. The cocktails are amazing, not your vat of sugary rubbish but fantastically imaginative and well thought out combinations. I have only eaten here once but the burger I had was lovely. The staff are helpful and professional.

Atmosphere: the decor reflects Eleven A's multifaceted operations as a cafe, restaurant, bar and late night entertainment spot. As you walk in there's a small bar area with a table and stools facing the bar counter. The walls are in a very dark blue or slate grey and the series of five unusual and attractive semicircular banquettes in the main restaurant area to the left of the bar are immensely comfortable and upholstered in a fetching shade of teal blue velvet. Attractive pictures are mounted everywhere. The music was good and not obtrusive: it didn't get in the way of conversation. Food: soft shell crab and chorizo arancini, slow roasted pork fillet with broad beans and a wine reduction and fillet of red bream were all accompanied by apt trimmings, and perfectly executed and plated with care and attention by someone in the kitchen who takes pride in their work. We were all too polite to lick the plates but wanted to. Puddings: lemon tart with raspberries and creme fraiche, charred pineapple with raspberry puree and sorbet, creme brulee and the cheese plate were all exemplary. Kudos to the kitchen who know that cold puddings and cheese should be served at room temperature and not chilled from the fridge. Such a small detail but an important one. Can't pass comment on the wines or cocktails (my martini and a bottle of claret at lunch days are behind me, alas). We settled for tap water which was brought promptly and refilled regularly without asking. Service was relaxed and professional and for the first time in a long time I tipped more than 10%. Pricing is just right for the area and the competition but the quality of the food was such that it represented excellent value for money. I wish there were an equivalent close to where I live. If you decide to branch out, please come to Tooting. We all agreed lunch was at least a 9.5 out of 10 and that we'd all love to go back for drinks and dinner another time. Fortunately for you my dining companions are local - you'll be seeing them again soon. Keep up the great work!

Great place for an evening out.

So, I have been to 11A and enjoyed it previously, and wanted to take my husband, as it was such a nice place to eat. We went last night ( Thursday- the "New" grill night) and as you can see I have waited till today to review as did not want it to be a "knee jerk" reaction review.

We booked a meal here for a family get together with various dietary requirements. They were very attentive and checked our requirements at the time of booking and on arrival and managed them well. When there was a slight mistake they sorted it quickly without issue. The food was very tasted and enjoyed by all; the Thai sauce certainly had a kick. Would recommend.

A busy Saturday evening spent at this excellent restaurant and bar. The service was very attentive but not over the top. The menu had so many temptations and the food we chose was delicious. This is now my favourite place to eat in Ely

The cosy stylish décor sets the tone for a guaranteed first rate experience. It feels comfortable and yet luxurious at the same time. Everyone is welcoming and the customer service from the hospitality team is amazing. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and attentive. Rebecca in particular deserves particular acknowledgement, she is a true example of how to treat guests. She is an absolute asset to the team. Lunch was fantastic and was obviously prepared with a great deal of thought and expertise. We had the charcoal burger and the beef. We were so impressed that we immediately booked tickets for the anniversary dinner. It made our day off work perfect.

The food was amazing. Service was fast and efficient. We tried each other's food as they all looked delicious. There was a good atmosphere and buzz!

Cappuccino coffee with almond soya milk and a slice of lemon cake is to die for, staff are very attentive, seating is casual but comfortable and easy for solo guests

We were married in Ely on 21st December & wanted a small reception for 34 guests . We chose 11a & we couldn’t haven chosen a more perfect restaurant . The staff went beyond & above to make our reception as perfect & stress free as possible . The food was absolutely perfect & all dishes came out piping hot for us all to eat at the same time . I couldn’t recommend 11a enough , from our wedding to Sunday lunch or afternoon tea it was fantastic . What a much needed little gem we desperately needed in Ely .

From the moment you walk in, the staff are welcoming,knowledgeable and helpful. The food is so tasty and the cocktails are the best I ever tasted.This is a clean and stylish place you shouldn't give a miss.

This establishment consistently delivers superb customer service, cocktails and food. My husband and I regularly spend Saturday evenings here. The staff are very friendly and wekcoming making the effort to get to know their customers. The mixologists are amazing as they create clever, unique and delicious cocktails. The food is of high quality. To top it off, all of this can be enjoyed within a beautifully decorated space.

Have visited this lovely venue on many occasions. It is just what Ely needed. It’s a lovely welcoming, beautifuly decorated restaurant/bar. Staff are always very warm, friendly and welcoming. I have had light lunches, coffee with friends and recently attended a fantastic New Years Eve party. I can not fault the place. Well done, keep up the great work.

Been there several times, both for afternoon snacks, evening drinks and for a larger meal - it's been pretty much spot on every time. A bit more attention to detail on things like having the wine that's on the wine list - but the wine itself has been very good, the food superb, and the staff excellent.

We have been to 11a several times now , lunch , dinner , Sunday lunch ...... in our opinion the food is absolutely delicious. The menu has a great selection, something for everyone. My teenage son said it was the best burger he’d ever eaten .

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed a post-dinner drink at 11A last night. The staff are always very cheerful, chatty and happy to help. The drinks are of a superb quality and always served efficiently at a reasonable price.

What an amazing place to visit in Ely. The place is simply a cut above the rest, offers amazing drink variety and the best standard of food around. The staff look after you and make you feel cared for in a very friendly and pleasant way.

We went as a group for our pre Christmas evening meal, mid week in December. The food was simply lovely and the service was excellent. The setting is very relaxing and clean, but also not too noisy, and the temperature was great ( we don't like drafty eateries!). Nothing was too much trouble and I enjoyed it so much I have recommended to my mother- who is the fussiest eater on the planet ( watch out :) )

I went here with a friend for afternoon tea , it was such a lovely surprise to walk in off the street to a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I was very impressed with the classy interiors ,just my style ! Colours are calming and the furniture was done very tastefully . The staff are very friendly and the afternoon tea was delightful. The sandwiches were fresh and scones lightly warmed. The little cakes were lovely and we were give a container to take home the ones we didn’t eat .

The staff is very welcoming and friendly, however they sometimes seem to get lost on prioritizing things.I was not planning on spending almost 2 hours in a lunch there. The food was somehow greasy and quite not impressive. Everybody has a different experience, so go try it.

We visited today for the second time and really enjoyed their Sunday lunch with a live jazz band. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. We will definitely be going back again

Just had a really lovely afternoon tea here. The sandwiches were very good with nice fresh bread, 2 scones with jam and cream each and lots of cakes. Superb service and beautiful surroundings. An all round great experience at a very reasonable price.

This place just seems to get better and better its such a shame that other peoples reviews don't reflect what we now have in Ely. There are plenty of mundane places to eat, but nothing quite like 11a, its staff are warm and welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us. The food is of good quality and home made and we love the quirkiness, nothing feels dated like trawling through a dusty wine list. I am always happy to return and would highly recommend

Visited Ely for my friends birthday celebrations on Friday. 8 of us for drinks, dinner and the ‘Twisted Disco’.

Booked by a girlfriend for our regular get together. Ely has in the past not been a great place for us to visit due to its previous lack of places that suit us. This has now changed! Not quite knowing what to expected we were thrilled walking into a very stylish setting. This is a Bar and Restaurant, decorated beautifully, fantastic service where nothing was too much trouble. Wanting a twist on an old cocktail as made for me recently in London, the bar tenders happily obliged and also recommended a few new favourites. Great Touch. The food was incredible, the vegan in our party was thrilled also to have a regular dish adapted for her by the chef. The staff here really went above and beyond and the whole experience was something that we have not experienced in a very long time. We are looking forward to our next visit in January and already earmarked our booth !! Thank you 11a....

My husband booked a table (to eat - as they should ask you this when you book if you want to eat or drink!) for his birthday for 4 people. So we turn up and sit in the lovely blue chairs in the bar area and let them know we are there...oh dear no booking for dinner, only drinks, so they apologise and say they'll set up a table to fit us in and gave us a free glass of wine, but theres no wine list....you have to choose from the bar, where they don't know the prices (as they had to go away and check) plus obviously white and rose are in the fridges and so they have to get them to show us and its just a bloody palaver!! Anyway we made it easy and had red (which was nice), The menu we were given wasn't the same as on the website, in any way! It was out of date/not updated. So what my husband had his eye on wasn't even available.

This is a trendy up and coming bar/restaurant with great staff, ervice, quality food and ambiance. the only thing letting it down is the entrance. you feel like your stepping into a neighbors door not a restaurant.

On a night out with my sister's we decided to try a cocktail at 11a. We ordered 2 cocktails and a g&t.; I paid and then returning to my sister's at the table I realised I had been overcharged I returned to the bar and questioned the bar staff only to be told that she had put a larger measure in the g&t; and therefore charged me more. There was no mention of different sizes on the menu. Be warned make sure they don't try and pull one over in you too. I won't be returning

Well,this was a none starter from the beginning. Why did this company take our booking if they couldn't deliver the end result. We were served our drinks, and our Oder was taken at 1.15pm. We waited until 1.45 before asking what was happening with our order, to be told it will be with us soon, we were getting very hungry. There were only two ladies in, who were lucky enough to actually put food in their mouths. We again asked the waitress, what was happening, the chap who was behind the bar went to the kitchen to find out, when 8 minutes later he hadn't returned, we decided we were leaving, 50minutes to,wait for our starters was ridiculous. We left the restaurant, we certainly would not return or recommend this establishment. It would have been nice for someone to have come and explained what the problem was.

What a shame we had been once before with friends and enjoyed ourselves. We booked for 1pm for four of us. It was very quiet with only two couple plus us. We ordered our food at 1.15, enquired at two where our starters were, they were on the way we were told. Asked a few minutes later to be told that only one chef was on and we were a big party!! We left at 2.15 very hungry and disappointed. We would have preferred if we had been told straight away that there was an issue with the food rather than being ignored,

We went as a family to enjoy tea and scones with jam and clotted cream. These are definitely the best available in Ely....we have tried all of the local tea shops!

We had dinner for 6. Friendly and professional service. Lovely menu and superb dishes. So nice to have somewhere to go with really nice food in Ely.

My friend and I visited for lunch on her recommendation. I was not disappointed. Friendly service and a varied menu ensured that we spent a very enjoyable lunchtime.

We walked past this restaurant on our way down to the waterfront and on our way back decided to try out its claim to provide excellent fish and chips. We were not disappointed - big portion, lots of fish inside the batter and superbly cooked. Starter of duck and chicken terrine and excellent apple and rhubarb crumble with custard for dessert rounded off an excellent evening meal. Very pleasant interior and helpful staff.

Excellent all round friendly helpful staff, for which nothing is to much trouble well thought out venue with beautiful decor.

had brunch here last sunday. our first visit and we were not disappointed. delightful place. friendly staff. i had smashed avocado on toast with poached egg and bacon - absolutely divine would definitely visit again well done chaps

The food was a very strange type. The burger which I ordered strangely stacked two different types of burgers on top of each other within the bun. Both of the styles I did like, however, they did not match. The bun and the cheese were both really good however. If I had known, I would have removed the chutney from the bun.

I’ve been for drinks 3 times now I find it really relaxing cocktails nice and wine at a reasonable price. We popped in last night and it was really busy with an 80s night staff are friendly. Also I’ve had lunch too which I cannot falter.

Booked for a meal. Menu okay with big plates and little plates and staff quite helpful . If you dont like cocktails drinks choice not great so we struggled to find something to eat with the meal and wine by the glass seemed quite expensive. Nice location .

Wanted somewhere different for lunch and knew this had recently opened. Not disappointed. Visited on a Wednesday but unfortunately was very quiet. However food was good, staff were very friendly and helpful. Great surroundings. Would definitely go again.

Food is very good indeed. I have been for dinner, for light lunch with girlfriends (small plate, wine and coffee) and for lunches with a hungry husband (he particularly enjoyed the Breakfast Sandwich).

My friend and I visited here twice over our weekend stay in Ely. We were lucky to get a table without a booking and were not disappointed with the food, wine and service. Beware if you have the falafel and sweet potato burger as after having a starter, this arrived with the plate overflowing and I couldn't eat it all! The atmosphere is very relaxing and you are not rushed to leave your table.
