On a very busy Friday early evening we called in for a drink prior to our restaurant booking across the road. It seemed odd that with almost every city centre bar packed to the rafters with the after work Friday crowd there were just four people in the Guildford. I soon realised why after ordering our drinks. As we walked to our seats by the window there was an overpowering smell of urine, stale beer and body odour. We stuck this out for a while and then left. Not an experience to be repeated!

Las 2 bebidas por ronda era 9 ish, que para la ciudad era razonable. Hubo una fiesta de despedida de soltera y muchachos para el fútbol, ​​era ruidosa, pero todo el mundo era realmente agradable y sin problemas. Mi novia y yo nos sentamos en los asientos del bar, ya que estaba ocupado, pero pasamos un buen rato y la persona detrás del bar nos preguntó si estábamos bien, lo cual pensé que era agradable. Llamado aquí el fin de semana pasado, estaba lloviendo y queríamos salir de la lluvia lo antes posible. Solíamos ir a este pub regularmente hace bastante tiempo y fue decepcionante ver cómo había cambiado. Había un juego de la Copa del Mundo, la televisión mostraba subtítulos y la imagen y el sonido en la pantalla grande estaban distorsionados, simplemente horribles, y tenían que apagarse. Cenamos y nos fuimos?

Fui a tomar una copa con 4 de mis amigos y me sorprendió gratamente descubrir que habían empezado a servir comida. Las comidas pueden salir en muy poco tiempo y la calidad fue excepcional. Personalmente me dieron la hamburguesa que me ofrecieron todo lo que pude pedir, aderezado perfectamente y servido con todos los extras. Volveremos, deffinelty pronto.

Popped in here when we arrived in Leeds for the Stone Sour gig and it was a lovely pub, friendly and an irish theme going on which suite me just fine :) Lots of character and well worth a visit

This street runs west to east in front of the city hall. Now much restricted to make it more pedestrian friendly but it remains busy. Large shopping centre to the south of the street.. most types of high street shops represented with some interesting independent shops towards the quarry bank end of the headrow.

A large group of us (25) met here before going to visit the Leeds Light Show. Tom was very helpful and efficient making sure nobody had long to wait at the bar. Will definitely use this bar again.

The traditional frontage draws you in, it stops there, shocked to find our round of two drinks where £3 more than any other public house we had visited in Leeds over the weekend, be warned if you plan to use the Headrows 'FREE WIFI' you will end up with a very nasty & hard to remove app on your phone called z blocker it changes all your settings, didn't hang around long, I really wish we had not gone in.

Had to pop in to check out this pub which advertised itself as music venue. Nice traditional pub inside with nice decor and layout. Barman was friendly and helpful. As it was quiet (Wednesday and a sunny early evening) Drink selection was ok, cider on draught was Strongbow, not my taste, but bottled selection included an overpriced Mout flavoured cider, that was nice. The bar was clean and tidy, barman kept himself busy and was polishing fixtures in his quiet minutes. Friendly and welcoming, I'm sure would be worth a weekend visit to check out the atmosphere then...

Eventually Found this place after a friend recommended a visit. Loved it's beer hall. Nice drinks.friendly staff. Clean loos. Went back at night but restaurant was fully booked. Will defo go back when next in leeds.

We had been told by staff (and from the owners) that a band would be playing on St Patrick's Day. There was no band!! One good way to lose customers. The beer selection is also terrible. Not really worth going to - as there's still no food. Very poor.

Along with friends called at lunchtime. Very quiet. Below average drinks with a high price tag. Woulld not return.

Both my Wife and I came across this pub in the Headrow one afternoon in August whilst going back to the hotel, so we popped in. The pub was very clean and the barman was very friendly and quick . We both had the Guiness, which was as good if not better than a lot of places we have been to, and after a couple we said that we would be back, as i travel to Leeds about every seven weeks, When back in Leeds in October we went back there on a friday night, and we were not dissapointed, we had a great time, and we are looking forward to going back there in December.

I used to frequent this pub 20 years ago when it was a good city centre pub. Sadly it has failed to move with the times and whilst I am still a great fan of the traditional city centre pub, there are many far better than this in Leeds. Only one bitter on cask and that was the mass market John Smiths Smooth. Not very advantageous.

The Headrow is a main shopping thoroughfare in central Leeds, renowned for its diverse array of shops and eateries. Although it is impossible to park on the Headrow there are many car parks close at hand. Wonderful for a days shopping and maybe a drink and meal. Always busy however and the pavements can get quite crowded

Great for dedicated shopping fanatics,you can find anything on this Main Street in Leeds city. Close to all attractions and transport a must for serious shoppers.

I have only visited the Headrow a few times for drinks only so I can't comment on the food. The Headrow is a nice pub which seems to have recently re-themed around an Irish bar and a focus on live music. It's always clean in there and the staff are friendly, that said I'm not sure it stands out enough and I can't give it 4 stars due to the competition in Leeds. Some of the music they were playing wasn't great but that's just my personal preference. It's a nice building, in a good location and offers decent value for money so I will continue to visit but if you are visiting Leeds for the day I would recommend other pubs above this one.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante in quanto vicinissimo al Radisson Hotel. Locale ampio ma chiassoso , servizio scarso e cibo pessimo . Hamburgher bruciati e Steack Ribeye che sembrava suola di scarpa. Per il prezzo elevato il servizio dovrebbe essere di altro genere. Lo sconsiglio vivamente.

Quietly tucked away but worth seeking out if you fancy something freshly cooked and original. The place is stylish and relaxed. Staff are young and friendly. The menu offers an original array of dishes which are well priced. I had the smoked avocado on toast which was subtle yet really tasty. My friend had the steak which was well cooked and served with cheesy eggs and crispy potatoes. I liked the brunch theme for daytime. Both dishes and two drinks was under £20. We will most definitely be back to sample the evening menu. Best new place in Leeds.

Came across this pub after trying to find a decently price place. Excellent food and friendly staff. Only complaint was the neon 115 Sign that flashed on an irregular basis and was a bit distracting. Would visit again

We visited on 28th of January, by accident, as we were going to eat near the First Direct Arena, but it was so congested, so we walked down to the headrow - Di Marios was full so we went to 115 The Headrow for a pub meal / drink. We arrived a little after 6.00pm, and were told that chef ceased at 6.00pm - however- the bar assitant did ask chef, and he prepared something for us, for which we were grateful.We ordered 2 Paninnis containing bacon & chicken in BBQ sauce, with garnish and it arrived with a portion of chips about 25 minutes later. Good generous portions, nice choice of drinks, and good service for about £18.00.Nice clean "pub", clean toilets and generally enjoyed the experince. A little rushed at the end due to the 25 minutes waiting time - but hey- they could have refused to serve us as it was after time for meals.Would recommend if in Leeds & would certainly visit again.

Whilst in Leeds my colleague and I came across Headrow House and "The Ox Club" restaurant. What a find indeed!!We were fairly hungry but looking for something quick, nutritious and simple!! This venue is based on the ground floor of the establishment, with good lighting, clean, contemporary lines and an open kitchen. It's very compact and probably does around 35 covers.The menu is small, simple and with the emphasis on local produce.We ordered 2 starters and two mains and a bottle of Soave wine.The ham hock starter was to die for and our mains of medium rare steak were stunningly presented and "cooked with love"....If your looking for a quick meal, reasonably priced and in pleasant surroundings, try this little gem!!It's a small menu but ample enough for all tastes.The service was unobtrusive and personal.Highly recommended!!

Went in for an early evening drink on Saturday. It had obviously been busy but no effort had been made to clear the tables which were literally covered with glasses and plates. The bar man swilled a dirty glass under the tap before serving my drink in it. We drank half our drinks and left as quickly as we possibly good. Wouldn't go back if you paid me.

We booked an early evening table for Sunday dunner at 115 Headrow. We arrived on time and were seated, given menus and a drinks order taken. All good. The place was quite busy, so we didn't really think it a big deal that our order wasn't taken that quickly. But, after half an hour my GF went to ask if we could order. She was told that the food service had finished. Luckily, before any complaining could start, one of the bar staff backed us up by pointing out that we had been seated, and given menus, well before food finished. So the table staff finally took our order and we got our food pretty quickly. After all that, the food was nice, and (other than the obvious), the staff were friendly and nice.

Been in here a couple of times, staff always pleasant. Good wines too!! Not eaten here but food looks good and it's reasonably priced

We visited the bar today as I had a groupon voucher for Sunday lunch. The table was reserved with our name on it so we sat down and chose from the menu which had about 3 starters and 3 main courses which were roast beef or chicken sunday lunch and a vegetarian option followed by a choice of 3 desserts, I chose the chocolate brownie with vanilla icecream. The food and the service was really nice but nothing out of the ordinary for a pub, its worth a visit.

We visited here as we had a Groupon for Sunday lunch. The staff were very welcoming and friendly but unfortunately the service was fairly poor, although there was only 5/6 tables in the didn't really seem to have a grasp on things. That said, the food was good, we both had fishcakes for starters and chicken for mains. Definitely worth a visit for food - just need some patience with the service.

Visited here today again with my husband & our 2 friends. Them 3 ordered a starter each, they said it was lovely. 3 of us ordered beef Sunday lunches & 1 ordered chicken Sunday lunch, the meals were all very tasty & plentiful. I ordered a chocolate brownie desert for pudding it was delicious. Again we had excellent service & was greeted with a smile. We will definately return, this bar is now our local when we're out in town, definately worth a visit, manners & great customer service goes a long way. Well done Ronan & the team we only return because of your great service.

Lovely food and nice atmosphere but ruined by the slow waiter. I can understand if he was new but it was a hot day and we had to wait fifteen minutes for our drinks! He stood there like a lemon!

Went for Sunday lunch. The food was good. It was very busy and had a good atmosphere. Was impressed by the super efficient bar/waiting staff who were also friendly, attentive and worked very hard. This is an old pub in the city centre of Leeds which is now a pub/bar/restaurant. Still like a pub inside and not what you would describe as a restaurant so it's pretty basic and not "posh." I would revisit when around that area of Leeds.

I visited here on Wednesday 27th May with my family before heading to a show. I chose the venue as it was in a good location, close to where we heading for a show and the menu was varied enough and catered for the fussy eater. On arriving, the bar was very quiet, with what appeared to be regulars gathered at the bar. The female member of staff was very attentive and came straight over to seat us. She took our drinks order and delivered straight away, meaning we could take some time ordered our meal. We made our order (2 burgers with skinny fries and a selection of 'bits & bobs - including southern fried chicken strips, sweet potato fries and garlic bread). All arrived within 15/20 minutes and plates where full, with attractive presentation and lots of it!Unfortunately, there was a slight problem with one meal and on calling the member of staff back, she took the meal and offered to produce a completely new plate and would deduct it from the bill. She left the skinny fries and salad and when she returned, she brought with her a completely fresh plate with everything! We really could not fault the service in any way, shape or form. All of the food was fresh, hot and delicious. Only reason I'm giving it a 4* review is, it did look like it was in need of a little cleaning up and redecoration. Other than that, lovely food and great service!

Called here for food before going on to another venue and we were very pleasantly surprised.The place was empty but we expected this for a Sunday morning and on entering the bar staff (one pleasant guy working alone) was very welcoming.We ordered our food and it arrived in no time at all... and boy was it good!Great location, lovely atmosphere, fab food and great staff. Just what I need for a Sunday morning!Thanks for a great eating experience.

Poped in for the first time on Saturday night with a few friends, they had a live dj playing and a free shooter on your first round of drinks. The place was buzzing, great atmosphere, good chat out the staff even though they were busy. Great looking venue, good value drinks and a cracking night out, definitely going again.

Visited this little gem Sunday 26th April & was very impressed with the customer service & food, so decided to return this Sunday(3rd May). 4 of us all had lunch. My husband & friend both ordered beef Sunday lunch which was delicious. I ordered little people's hot dog & fries, this was a generous portion & very tasty. My friends husband order Mac & Cheese, looked lovely & he said tasted delicious. The service once again was excellent. The staff go above & beyond their duties to ensure your visit is pleasant & comfortable. A dj was playing good varied music, something for everyone. I come 115 quite often after work with my friends and we love the place it's just what you need to unwind and relax. Great atmosphere and the playlist is amazing. All the staff are friendly and hard working. I recommend everyone comes here!

We went here on a Groupon deal for 4 people. The deal was 4 x 10oz Burger, Fries and Coldslaw and 4 Beers or Wines.When we got there our table was set out and all reserved for us. We bought a bottle of wine and then our food arrived. The Burger and Coldslaw was served inside a metal mess tin with the fries being served in a metal paint pot. All was delicious and to be honest I am not really a burger person but it was delicious. We were then sent over 2 bottles of wine as all four choose the wine as our drink of choice. As it was nearly 2 glasses out of a bottle he gave us two bottles. Throughout the whole experience we received great service which I know sometimes have been lacking on Groupon deals.I would recommend this place to my friends and we will definitely go back and try the full priced menu as some of the meals we saw coming out all looked delicious.

Used to drink here when it was the 'Northern Monkey' few years back and haven't been for sometime until this weekend...... Was very pleasantly surprised by the new vibe of the place and was quite busy (which was unusual for this pub!) Looks like changes have been made for the positive and we were impressed with our food and drinks - both price and quality! Good work - keep it up! :)

A lovely evening in 115 with friends and thanks to Adam for looking after us. I hope to be back in Leeds soon and this place will be my first stop.

What an awful experience, we booked our table for early Saturday evening and arrived to find the eatery full of drunk groups and no tables empty or reserved, the waiter was out of his depth and one group of people were just short of fighting. Never mind the food and drink will make up for the lack of atmosphere, Nooo ahhhh! The beer was awful, the fosters did not taste right and the real ale tasted like sheep dip, we ordered the 10 oz burger and skinny fries eventually, in between the waiter having a heart attack.I'm afraid it got worse the burgers were raw in the middle, so we complained and the waiter said pick a replacement and he would bring it for free, fair enough you say, but then he became the invisible man and he never came near. We gave it up as a bad job and left, yes i can truly say this is the worst dining experience of my life!

Absolutely gorgeous burgers in trendy surroundings. Our kids were very very well looked after by the extremely friendly staff. Probably the best burger we've ever add, as every ingredient was done to perfection. Attention to detail was impressive, even down to freshly laundered napkins. Such a lovely, clean and happy place to eat and drink. If only everyone could serve with as much kindness and with as many smiles, the world would be a happier place :) We'll definitely be back very soon! It's a must-go-to place!

After purchasing a Groupon voucher I phoned 115 The Headrow to make a reservation only to be told that the voucher didn't start until tues after Easter. I was then offer a voucher card for 50% off the food instead well who wouldn't jump at the chance so I accepted and made the booking. We were shown to our table and asked if we would like to set up a tab. Our waitress was friendly and polite and couldn't do enough for us. we ordered our starters, loaded potato skins and southern fried chicken strips these were very good and we shared. Our mains were the twisted mac & cheese and fish and chips. The fish and chip were excellent and would get them again. the mac & cheese was good but I would try something else next time. When we go back to use our groupon voucher we can't wait to try the burgers. the music on Saturday night was amazing all 80's took us both back. Us and many other in the pub stood up to Radio Ga Ga great night. Would defiantly make 115 The Headrow part of our night out in future.

Walked past the bar. Saw 2 for 1 cocktails and we like our cocktails. We're priced at a reasonable £7.95. Ordered 4 different cocktails and to put it simply..... They were pretty disgusting, and were served in coke glasses! Disappointing.

I visited for a lovely family lunch. We had delicious pulled pork sandwiches and a mixed platter for my son of which he particularly enjoyed the sweet potato chips. Ambiance and hospitality excellent. I would encourage anyone to try it

I have been coming to this establishment every night after work since November 2014 and the staff are extremely friendly with a calm atmosphere and good planned nights, especially the new DJ night on Saturday. Lacey is always there to put a smile on your face and an extremely hard worker!Would recommend this bar to all visiting friends and family!The bouncer is always very welcoming and the drinks are good - Try the cocktails!

The drinks are reasonably priced, staff are fab and the place has a great atmosphere! A great improvement on the Northern Monkey! The doorman is a great laugh - much friendlier than the majority in leeds! The 241 cocktail deal meant we stayed here much longer than we'd expected and shall be returning in the next few weeks!

As a Yorkshire man in my forties I wear a flat cap. This tradition has been going on for years. To be asked to take it off after I've been sat somewhere with friends, spending money for a good half hour in a rude manner by some jumped up little oik narks me off! I asked if he would ask someone to take off a turban, the answer was no. Drank up and left. . . .Will not be going back. Mrs in a bad mood, night ruined. Cheers

Came here for some lunch last week in the mood for a hearty burger. We were not disappointed, 115 have an appealing amount of choice on the menu. We ordered the burger, which came in a double layer with lots of cheese stacked high with onion rings, a good portion of fresh fries and the nicest coleslaw I have ever tasted! It was all presented well in a steel tray (this seems to be the new hype with burgers) very tasty and freshly prepared. Roughly £10 (but we got 241 with tastecard) for this meal was a good price compared to the higher price burger places such as 'almost famous' & 'GBK' that really aren't worth the extra money. 115 also had a great atmosphere, relaxing, nice décor and a cosy vibe on a cold day. I will defiantly be returning again!

We'd already pre booked a meal elsewhere and were looking for somewhere to have a drink prior to this. We bobbed in here (after walking past several other bars ) as it looked welcoming without being overcrowded.The atmosphere was lovely with a complete mix of people. The bar staff were great and brought drinks over to us. Will definitely come back and especially to try the food.

Passed this place many times as the Northern Monkey, I did not feel it was my sort of place.Rebranded 115 it could not be more different, just called in a few times for a drink. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, saw the Sunday lunch appearing it looked nice but we had already eaten so we decided next time we called we would try the food.

My gran came to visit and we went out in search of a Sunday lunch without the mess and cooking and decided to try 115 The Headrow. I loved the style of the place, it was vibrant, modern and cool. The food was great, really well thought out and reasonably priced.The staff were all friendly and eager to help, really good service.There was a good amount of drinks available including draught, spirits and really well priced cocktails, which were great!! Loved it!!

Whilst on a desperate search to find somewhere to have lunch on a weekend in Leeds we stumbled upon this place after walking out of subway due to a long queue, and we're glad we did. The interior of the bar was trendy and interesting, the menu looked great and I had a hard time deciding on something. There were ribs, frankfurters, pulled pork and burgers which I settled on. The food came in baskets and army mess tins which was a nice touch.

Came for lunch mouth was watering at the choices on the menu. Arrived to be greated by lovely and friendly staff. place has a vibrant cosy feel to it. Our Sunday roast was beautiful and tasty I will defiantly return I give the food 10 out of 10. 115 is the place to be :)

This was our first visit to this bar/restaurant that has been open just over a month.I did call in during it's previous life as Northern Monkey,but used to visit it on a regular basis when it was known as The Guilford pub in the 80's and 90's.It appears to belong to a group of bars called blounge.co.uk who seem to have a few others on the go mainly in Manchester and one in Chester.We called in tonight,understandably it was quiet as most bars are on a Sunday.They do have a menu for food available.It was £8.60 for 2 pints of Heineken,which seems par for the course in city centre places these days.There was background music playing which wasn't too loud,as to make conversation impossible.We would visit again!.

Rip the Northern monkey long live 115 the Headrow.4 of us had food and drinks last night on this on trend establishment. As soon as you walk in you are hit with the impressive overhaul, hats off to the owner. I caught myself staring all over at the detail that's gone into this place. Freindly welcome, nice buzz, good music in the background and we secured a great table for food. The drink selection was impressive while reasonably priced, and we were all drooling over the menu. Pulled pork, Mac and cheese, steak burgers, smoked hot dog were just a few examples. Food arrived in quirky baskets and mess tins, a real treat for the eyes and tasted as good as some of the other larger more established food bars. We soon polished it off and can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu!Staff were attentive, the venue was just a treat for the eyes, drink was flowing and the food was lip smacking good!Highly recommended ! This will be revisited again and again.
