The best restaurants serving Turkish food in City Centre Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

We tried lahmacun and pita. You can even go there just for lahmacun :) The carrot slice baklava was also delicious. I recommend!

I’d love to make some comment here about the quality of the food, but I never got to try it. Two of us went in and ordered mixed kebabs, after 10/15 mins one of us was served, of course I naively expected mine to come pretty quickly. After 5 mins I asked the waiter where mine was, he went to the kitchen and an arguement seemed to ensure with lots of pointing at our table, then he came over as said my order had been sent to someone else and they were making me another one (fair enough mistakes happen). After 20 further mins, I said to the waiter I’d now waited longer than the original order took, twice I asked to speak to the manager and twice he just looked over at us and literally walked the other way. I understand that mistakes happen, but was is appalling is pretending they haven’t happened and managers or owners just ignoring it. If you want my advice, visit somewhere that values your custom more

Delicious food, attentive staff, authentic flavors of the Mediterranean. Lively area. Small restaurant, so book ahead. Frequented by local - which is always a good sign!

Rude service. Overcharge what the menu says then blames customer for misinderstanding menu which has hidden costs. Why bother supporting local when local just cares about drunk peoples money. Wouldnt go here with free voucher.
