The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Porthleven and Helston South Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

What a magical place to sit and watch the boats bobbing around in the harbour. The atmosphere is wonderful. Sitting down in the harbour, great music, cocktails, staff and setting.

Great atmosphere, beautiful view. But they didn't give the full menu, I wanted coffee with dessert, but they only gave the drinks menu. When they gave the menu, the coffee was already finished, the mood was a little spoiled.

My husband has followed Dan Dan the Lobster Man on Facebook and we visited Porthleven purely to eat here. Sadly we were disappointed. The food was expensive and the crab sandwich was bland. We waited about 45 minutes for a bland crab sandwich and a pot of cockles. The cockles were tasty. Other people sitting near us had a sharing platter which looked good. Go and try it and make your own mind up.
