The Best! Never dissapointed with howards chips are always so good never dry, the ribs and battered cod, curry sauce 10/10.

The best chippy in Canvey. It always seems to be busy. Asking for items to be cooked whilst you are cueing will minimise your wait time.

We stayed 1 night at the hotel as we were attending a function there. The building our room was in had a strange odor and there were leak stains on the ceiling outside our room. The hotel still uses keys, not key cards and you are provided one set only. Upon check in, you are advised the wifi is poor in the rooms. The room itself was very basic; no doors on wardrobe, no shelves in bedside cabinets, stripy carpet. The bed (a small double) was disproportionate to the room size & the mattress was very hard. The bathroom was very dated. We ate at the pub restaurant which was general pub food but agree with other reviewers there was not much knowledge about the ingredients. The function room was a great space, so would recommend this. I would not book to stay in the hotel again.

Absolutely unreal service so kind and welcoming felt like I belonged there more than my own home!!! And the food oh my days the food was incredible like nothing before and the atmosphere was so lovely I would recommend 1000%
