The food is really authentic with lots of unique twists. Serve is always really welcoming and friendly.
15/01/2020: Called in to get a couple of takeaway pizzas. This was fast food but with quality ingredients and attention to detail. The staff were really good and it’s nice to see a big vegan offering (not that it interests myself!) The pizzas were amazing and I’ll definitely be back into the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Thin crust.
Ample filling.
Good quality ingredients.
Freshly cooked.
Great pizza 👍

06/11/2019: Ignore the queues downtown and the black and white. Drive 3 mins up the high street to the Top Chippy. Fresh cooked, lots of menu options and friendly service. Delicious!
06/11/2019: I have lived here in the village for a while now and very safe to say we use top chippy all time as they have very big portions all very nice people who work there and I'm very pleased with what they do I have tried black and white shop down the front and safe to say it's not as good as top chipppy not as much chips were oily.

05/01/2020: Menus are a on the blackboard from breakfast and lunch to afternoon treats ,What i did notice is that they had two puddings available Gluten Free one was a crumble and the other was a chocolate orange sponge pudding . As it was lunchtime on offer was sandwiches / jacket potatoes etc with lots of choices for fillings , They have GF bread rolls so I went for a ham filling with a side salad . Nice cosy little coffee shop .
22/12/2019: Small. 100% standards met for the past 100 visits in 2019. The menu is glorious. Staff know the menu, can advise and are suitably friendly. The food is fresh and prepped in the moment. The menu includes bejeweled salads, hearty stews with herby dumplings,homemade scones/cakes and a daily special which has without exception been outstanding in concept flavour,content,creativity and presentation. Service is quick and the atmosphere is colourful. Clients include walkers with dogs and local people dropping in who seem wonderfully relaxed and happy to talk, making it perfect for solo walkers.

Good choice on menu, and specials.
Tasty brisket chilli. Well prepared Greek salad and chunky chips. Four of us well pleased with our food.
Reasonable prices. Choice of 4 draught beers.
A very enjoyable evening.

30/11/2019: Enjoyed the chunky well cooked chips crispy battered fish and the lovely freshly made mushy peas and curry sauce. The staff are very welcoming and the place is Immaculate with seats outside and in for the good weather. The best chippie all around.
20/06/2019: I enjoyed a free delivery and a really tasty pizza with lovely fresh toppings both for the first time. Great service and best chippie in a 10 mile radius.

25/01/2020: My husband and I visited the Ivy 2 days ago for lunch as part of a special birthday treat (his). It was bustling and busy but we were greeted straight away and asked if we would like to take a seat at the bar while we waited for our table. The bar lady was immediately attentive and offered us the drinks’ menus and was also on hand with recommendations if we weren’t sure. When our table was ready, she collected both us and our drinks and accommodated us seamlessly!
23/01/2020: A superb birthday lunch at the iconic Ivy. Leonardo and Charice were brilliant in a very busy booking situation ... Charice calmly showed me to the amazing bar whilst the table was prepared. ..a great meal followed by truffles and birthday creme brulee ...my thanks to Bernadetto and Tamas and the amazing Kaitlin and Theo ! I shall return again soon especially thanks to Charisse ...

11/01/2020: My husband ordered a takeaway pizza for himself as I was out. He said it was the worst pizza he had ever tasted - very sloppy base, overloaded with tomato and tasteless and he couldn’t eat it. Shame because his expectation was high after reading good reviews.
07/01/2020: Very good pizza restaurant. Cooked very well.
Downstairs looked more elegant, although upstairs eating area look a little bit bored. Suggest to ask for downstairs table.
