The Social Climber Café in Maidstone

Where has the cafe gone? Its all stripped out 😲 was not expecting that! A refurb??? This was the best cafe in town!

The food was amazing. I highly recommend the nachos. Definitely some of the best nachos I’ve had. The staff was great. Really friendly people and a really fun culture!

Honestly best vegan pizza I've ever eaten, they cooked it fresh in front me. The staff are so lovely and chatty, very welcoming. Perfect place to fuel up for a climb... In fact I'll pop in for more pizza when I'm knockin around town!

The café is very welcoming and has a chill, relaxed vibe and a great selection of food and drinks! 😁 I'll definitely be coming back even if i'm not doing any climbing!

The shakes are not five dollars but the taste, atmosphere and staff attitude if five star! Lovely little cafe that emulates the climbing experience in staying in touch with its community and welcoming the community. Thanks for the service guys and keep it up.

The cafe is situated upstairs from the climbing walls and offers lots of seating including sofas. It has a laid back vibe and the staff are very friendly and always around to take orders/requests. There are a variety of food/snacks available ranging from pizzas to paninis. There are normally a display of freshly made cakes available including plenty of vegan options. Great service, great food at a reasonable price.

As a regular in The Climbing Experience for pushing ones body to the limits on the many bouldering problems, I sometimes find myself venturing into the realms of the Social Climber Cafe for a much needed battery recharge. Their menu caters for all, with vegan and decent veggie options available too. (as a meat eater I really enjoyed the wifes veggie platter) The stone baked pizzas during the cooking process fill the building with luscious wafts of toppings bubbling away that make you want a slice or three, and to wash it down, some gorgeously concocted milkshakes that burst with flavour. And not forgetting that lovely waffle machine... with sweet and savoury toppings to die for, my go too; the bacon and maple syrup one! Amazing 😁 Oh! and before I forget, well behaved dogs on a lead are allowed to sit by their masters and enjoy a bowl of crisp clear water along with a gravy bone as well. So it's 11/10 from me to all the wonderful staff at the Social Climber Cafe that make it what it is. Thank you all.

Visited for the first time this evening. Lovely chill vibe to the place, comfortable seating with a real social atmosphere, super friendly staff and lots of vegan choices to eat and drink, including lots of yummy cake, which made 2 vegans very happy! Will definately be back, especially for the cake!

Came in to climb with my son today and had lunch afterwards at The Social Climber. We were spoilt for choice but opted for the healthy option. I had a salmon salad and my son had the chicken tikka salad. Both had quinoa in and guacamole. It was so good and a really generous portion. We also both had a sunshine smoothie which was delicious. The staff are so friendly too. Great place to come for lunch or snack even if you aren’t climbing.

Fab food, fab service lovely lady doing serving would highly recommend, the cafe was spotless, I would highly recommend the coronation chicken sandwich on malted bread, mouthwatering!

A cool little cafe that sits alongside the climbing experience. I had a delicious vegan green smoothie and some great, well earned cold drinks for the kids once they’d finished climbing. Pizzas looked amazing as did the cakes! Worth a try.

This really is a nice find. The range of what they offer makes it definitely more than a coffee shop, but I just stuck to the coffee & cake and they were really good.
