Otra comida fantástica. Han aumentado de tamaño y ahora viven en Deptford. La comida es fantástica como siempre y el nuevo ambiente se ve elegante. El servicio habitual y amable y los sabores son fantásticos. Estaremos de vuelta y nos alegramos de que todavía están alrededor, sirviendo el menú increíble de siempre.

Although I have not been impressed with the service for some time now and have tried to avoid having g to write a poor review, unfortunately I was utterly dissapointed with today's service and had to break my silence. I have been coming to this place for years and it's always been really nice (hence the reason I kept returning with friends and family). However, the past two years it has really changed. I attended today with a friend and family after hyping up the place to my friend and they were very excited to come. Withal, I couldn't help but notice that, not only they I creased the price, making it very expensive, but they seem to have reduced the buffet and the new buffet does not seem to reflect Brazilian food as it used to be. Instead they seem to have removed many dishes and only have basic/ standard salad items, two types of rice (plain boiled and some type of fried rice) some bland mushroom soup looking dish and some watery bean soup and some tapas type stuff, pasta and what looked like ratatouille- all very substandard. To add insult to injury, we kept being rushed off our table, despite today being good Friday and the restaurant being almost empty when we arrived until we left. There also used to be a diverse team of waiters, however; I've noticed that the past few times, there are no Portuguese speaking waiters, and everyone seems to be Asian (it seems the restaurantis under new management), nothing against that, but one would expect he waiters to provide information about thr food and to see a diverse team (as previously) that were knowledgeable about the dishes and ingredients, or how they're the dishes are prepared. However, the recent team has no idea about the dishes and do not seem interested, I stead they only seem to want people to eat and rush out, even though they were not busy. Not impressed! £126.90 for three people and £42.40 for one a one glass of drink (wine and cocktail/ cocktail + £16.93 for service charge seems a bit much for substandard food that we could have elsewhere for a half of the cost. If the service was the same as previously, I wouldn't have minded, but it's really bad for that amount. I will not be returning here.

I've no desire to hammer a restaurant for a single bad experience but from other recent reviews it seems we are not the only ones to suffer. I only wished I'd seen these reviews; I'd looked on Google where they are much more favourable (though, with hindsight, a recent 5-star review there now reads suspiciously). We booked for 8 people at 5.30pm, allowing plenty of time to relax before an 8pm show at the O2. I received an online confirmation, from Rico Sabor/Maracuya. When we arrived, the restaurant had no record of our booking. The explanation was something about 'two websites', which we didn't understand. No matter - the place wasn't busy. Our drinks order came relatively quickly, though one drink was incorrect. Again, no matter. We had booked expecting a Spanish restaurant, and we wanted to avoid the generic chains inside the O2. The menus offered were Spanish, Latino and... Ukrainian. Not what we'd anticipated. Again, no matter. We ordered 8 mains and a couple of side dishes from the Spanish/Latino selection. By 7pm no food had emerged. A couple of other tables arriving after us appeared to have received part of their orders. At 7.10pm, our first dish arrived - and it was wrong. A very harassed staff member promised 'five minutes'. By 7.20pm, two other main dishes and one side had emerged, of which another one was wrong. There was no sign at all of the other six main dishes. At 7.30pm, we abandoned, to join the queue at the O2 and grab something to eat inside. The staff member who spoke to us had passable English. None of the others appeared to speak more than basic English. Again, that's no problem providing they can take and execute a food order. One insisted they were 'very busy' - which was simply untrue. Another table abandoned as we had. Speaking to them outside, their experience was identical to ours. We suspect there is some sort of change of ownership going on here and a repositioning, perhaps to a fully Ukrainian restaurant. However, the Rico Sabor site is still taking bookings (is this the 'two websites' business?). This is a prime location and rent can't be cheap. If our experience is anything to go by, they simply won't survive. But unless they seriously up their game, they don't really deserve to.

Empezaré diciendo que este fue un intento aventurero de algo diferente y que no estábamos familiarizados con la cocina nigeriana de antemano. Así que no estoy seguro de si lo que experimentamos fue auténtico o no, pero ciertamente puedo decir que no fue agradable. Probamos algunos platos africanos, incluyendo Crain Crain, Okra y sopa de aceite de cacahuete y todos eran increíblemente aceitosos y tenían un sabor horrible, creo que los fhjs vinieron de la 'salsa de palma pil' todos los platos fueron descritos como servidos. El servicio era bastante lento y un bjt hit o miss pero principalmente miss. la lager tampoco era genial y una marca que no conocía (el Roma creo) que a £ 7 una pinta era muy caro por la calidad. Puede ser genial para algunas personas si se trata de una auténtica cocina nigeriana. Pero realmente no era para nosotros; tuvimos que parar en otro lugar en el camino a casa para obtener algo para quitar el sabor insípido!

Travelled up to the dome from Warwickshire for the weekend and stopped in at Moms Fabulous hotdogs while waiting to enter. Dark haired girl needs some training in customer service! Snapped at us for requesting stuff on the menu that were not in stock ( we arnt mind readers!! ) All dips out of stock, no soft drinks All she had to say when ordering was sorry we are out of dips and and coke but we do have drinks in the cooler. Absolutely embarrassing behaviour and we certainly will not be using this again.
