The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Torbay South West

Food was excellent, and service was very friendly Feels like somewhere you could go and the food would always be good, with some dishes being excellent Had a venison starter, which was an enjoyable starter Pork Yorkshire pudding crackling roast potatoes and vegetables, would happily have again for a Sunday lunch Deserts were good but slightly let the meal down, though happily eat them 😀

Ignorant of The Equality Act 2010, tried to refuse my Service Dog! Fast food quality at restaurant prices. Very dried out rice, frozen chips, same base for all sauces, didn't clear starter plates before bringing mains, very disappointed would not return or recommend.

We stayed here one night and the stay itself was OK. We also had booked spa and massage experiences which were enjoyable and as expected since these are pricy services the spa is usually quiet and that feels good as you don’t want to be in a crowd to relax. Upon receiving our email confirmation we noticed that we also can get an afternoon tea for free and checked with reception if it will be free and then booked the High Tea. After having the tea just before leaving the hotel we ordered the bill expecting that it would be for free. Then the team said there was a confusion checked with reception abd confirmed we can leave without paying. 45 mins later we were charged £80 for the high tea per couple having already spent more than £500 I think a confusion like this should come with a concession but the hotel sopped replying to our emails after a while. So we had to pay for the tea although it was confirmed by an employee that it would be free. If you make sure of everything on paper it’sa nice place to stay and enjoy.

What a great place to eat Breakfast Lunch & Dinner. A great eat as much as you like breakfast buffet. Cannot fault the place. Will Brody's ever open again in Torquay anyone?

Unexpected quality and value for money with really friendly service to boot. We over ordered thinking the portion sizes would be smaller for the pricing..... big mistake! Generous portions didn't need a side, and a starter to share (the whitebait) was ample. It was quite quiet, but I don't think that was what made the service good - I think the staff were happy in their job and it showed ?!? If I'm wrong they hid it well and either way a credit to the Boathouse!

We just ordered food from here and unfortunately it was terrible. I never leave reviews but this needed to be said.

I never leave bad reviews as a rule but I’m really sorry but this was the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had. We were on holiday in Brixham and had a delivery one evening. Four different curries (chicken tikka masala, king prawn korma, butter chicken and a chicken korma) and both my children couldn’t eat theirs and they LOVE curry. Their butter chicken and prawn korma had the weirdest texture and a very funky flavour. I tried both and wouldn’t have been able to eat them either. I had a chicken tikka masala and it was ok but not the greatest. All meals were very hot (not spicy hot) but the quality was not good at all.
