The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Torbay South West

Had a cancellation last minute and called us back to book the table. Excellent service and superb food. Our server, Ella, was fantastic. Would highly recommend

As ever a great meal in a traditional restaurant. Background music is quiet and unobtrusive. Lighting is bright enough so you can see your food. Werner the chef/patron chats to all the guests when he's finished cooking.

Imagine if wetherspoons did greek food and you get the idea. Service was staggeringly poor also.

Attentive and kind staff in a perfect location, but some key things fall short of a 5* experience at £300/night (and feel more like a budget hotel): 1) Room: Well furnished and designed, but the pillows are uncomfortable clumpy synthetic filling and the towels cheap and thin. 2) Breakfast: Very mediocre, no fresh vegetables and limited you to one “warm” dish per person (so you can’t have eggs AND pancakes, only one of the two, god forbid you want both!) 3) Spa: Hotel guests can only enter the spa free of charge between 8-10am and 7-9pm (the least convenient hours, when you want to have a meal!)

We were friends guests. Very friendly locals, and very pleasant staff along with very nice furnishings.

What a great place to eat Breakfast Lunch & Dinner. A great eat as much as you like breakfast buffet. Cannot fault the place. Will Brody's ever open again in Torquay anyone?

Unexpected quality and value for money with really friendly service to boot. We over ordered thinking the portion sizes would be smaller for the pricing..... big mistake! Generous portions didn't need a side, and a starter to share (the whitebait) was ample. It was quite quiet, but I don't think that was what made the service good - I think the staff were happy in their job and it showed ?!? If I'm wrong they hid it well and either way a credit to the Boathouse!

We just ordered food from here and unfortunately it was terrible. I never leave reviews but this needed to be said.

I never leave bad reviews as a rule but I’m really sorry but this was the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had. We were on holiday in Brixham and had a delivery one evening. Four different curries (chicken tikka masala, king prawn korma, butter chicken and a chicken korma) and both my children couldn’t eat theirs and they LOVE curry. Their butter chicken and prawn korma had the weirdest texture and a very funky flavour. I tried both and wouldn’t have been able to eat them either. I had a chicken tikka masala and it was ok but not the greatest. All meals were very hot (not spicy hot) but the quality was not good at all.
