The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Chiltern South East

My husband and I decided to come here for dinner yesterday after work, and we are so glad we did! We enjoyed our meal thoroughly, all the food was fresh, plenty of vegetarian options too. We were given delicious soft bread, garlic sauce and chilli sauce and a lovely plate of seasoned onions. We ordered falafel which came with hummus, crispy feta rolls, a beautifully finely chopped salad and a side of chips. My partner also got the lamb/chicken main which came with rice and salad. The service was excellent, all the staff were friendly but our waitress was really attentive and friendly and helped us with understanding some items on the menu. We couldn't fault our experience here, lovely fresh food, great customer service and a nice ambience. We will be back soon :)

Best coffee in Chalfont and amazing people

Really cute pub, great culture and vibes and very welcoming of any and all. Live jazz on Sunday’s. Child free for those that don’t like that. The letdown was lack of gluten free options - both substitutes (eg GF buns or pizza bases) but also a seeming general lack of willingness of owners to invest and take time to set up a simple system for being accessible for those who can’t safely consume it. Cross contamination is always a risk and something people accept but it’s 2025 - an easy issue to solve and would turn a good pub into a great, accessible venue.

Our two families had a wonderful New Year’s Day lunch here. Everything - from the help over the phone to book a table, to the cosy atmosphere, to the food was brilliant. I really must say that the food was outstanding. My son had fish and chips and he said it was the best fish and chips he’s ever had. I had the turkey pie which was so good it has honestly left me a little bit speechless. Homemade pie crust filled to the brim with gorgeous filling, perfectly cooked veg, and gravy on the side. I can’t fault it and will definitely be coming back again. It’s so nice to find a pub with proper homemade food, reasonably priced, and excellent service. The location is also great- some lovely walks around, although it was far too rainy for us today.
