The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Highbury West Islington London

A large group of us visited Alcedo for our end-of-term ‘do’ and I cannot recommend it enough! The food was absolutely wonderful. Every dish was cooked to perfection and portion sizes were very generous. The drinks were reasonable and service was flawless. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. When the last customers left (other than our group), the music was turned up a few notches and we were able to enjoy a dance and a few more drinks. What a wonderful, warm atmosphere! Will definitely be paying this place a visit again soon. Thank you Alcedo!

During my trip to London and Florence, I've had my favourite meals at Iznik. The vegetarian mezze platter has a great variety and tue smoky babaganoush is out-of-this-world. Everything is fresh and tasty. The Malbek wine complimented my meal and the ambience is peaceful and atmospheric. Lovely to watch the happenings at Highbury Barn. I just love this family business and applauded them on the cleanliness (even the toilets smell divine). I'm trying to fit in 3rd night here on my short trip. Bravo!

I am a local living in Finsbury Park & I been eating in the restaurant for many years & I love the food because its home cooked with best quality produce . This restaurant has a big local following especially on match days when Arsenal are playing at home !!! Uncle Bulgaria aka George knows how to produce top quality food at a reasonable price hence the reason us locals keep returning !!! The homemade goulash is the best you will find anywhere this side of Budapest!!! The quality of the meat has to be noted as you will not find a better sirloin steak in London town for the price & the home cut chips are cooked to perfection!!! I love the place as it has a friendly atmosphere & good food !!!!
