I am a local living in Finsbury Park & I been eating in the restaurant for many years & I love the food because its home cooked with best quality produce . This restaurant has a big local following especially on match days when Arsenal are playing at home !!! Uncle Bulgaria aka George knows how to produce top quality food at a reasonable price hence the reason us locals keep returning !!! The homemade goulash is the best you will find anywhere this side of Budapest!!! The quality of the meat has to be noted as you will not find a better sirloin steak in London town for the price & the home cut chips are cooked to perfection!!! I love the place as it has a friendly atmosphere & good food !!!!

This was my second visit to this restaurant. The first time around was with friends and this time, with my other half, for my Birthday. The table was booked a couple of days prior to our visit as the last time I was there, it was quite busy. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is quite spacious. We got there half hour later than planned (I called the restaurant to make sure it was okay for us to turn up later than planned and was told it would be fine). We let the waitress know that we had a booking and we asked if we could sit in the other section, away from the front door. We were told that this would not be possible as the section was booked, so we were taken to a table near to the bar/front desk. We ordered our food and 15 mins later a couple came in without a booking (they were within earshot) and were shown to a table in the section that we were told was booked out (no one had left the restaurant so it wasn't a case of a table becoming available), which was really annoying. We pointed this out to another waitress and she told us that the other lady was not a waitress and didn't know that the area wasn't booked out. I thought that the fact that there were tables available in that section would be a good indication that it wasn't booked out. We had our meal and would normallly sit and talk for a while but I just wanted to leave. The same lady (the one who is not a waitress), proceeded to ignore our empty plates and pick up plates, glasses and cutlery from other tables. If that is not unprofessional, I don't know what is. As much as I like the pizza here, I won't be going back in a hurry as we didn't feel welcome. Very disappointing.

Pizzadelique is my go-to pizza place near Finsbury Park / Arsenal. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, delicious food, a great prices!! I often go for the Fiorentina Pizza which is very tasty. They have plenty of veggie options too and something on the menu for everyone. I always love coming in when I have friends or family staying, or ordering food to take away as well which is always very speedy and faster than most delivery app type options! A lovely little place, 100% recommend.

This is a restaurant we keep coming back K to and has been a great hit with our friends and family over the years. I don't get the weaker reviews as the food and service has and is great. I've tried other places in the area but keep coming back to here.

8 of us booked a table.,which was a good idea. I had penne arrabiata which was very good, with a couple of Budvars. Next time I'm going to try a main course and a dessert from the extensive blackboard menu.

I have used this restaurant for many years but was very disappointed today when I phoned to order 3 pizzas for collection and on picking them up discovered that they were half the size of normal but the same price. Was told that this was because arsenal were playing but no mention when I ordered. I feel cheated. Pizzas were great though. Shame they are so tiny for £23!!!!!!!

I was brought by a friend who has been a number of times. It was very quiet because if the World Cup, but the ladies were extremely friendly and solicitous - they just couldn't do enough for us. They were also tolerant of us reversing our initial decision to eat outdoors, deciding after the drinks that we would move indoors as the wind got up. Pizzas were huge and generously topped, if pretty workmanlike. The calamari starter was the highlight. Prices were reasonable.

Been going to this place for over 20 years before arsenal games, always loved the food and atmosphere and while the service was hit and miss ,it was always friendly. The nice young waitresses have been replaced by a couple of surly eastern European Shot Putters who ignore you then grunt rudely when you try to converse with them. Yes,sure football days are busy but it really shouldn't take 75 minutes (!!) from ordering food to receive it, meaning it has to be wolfed down to get to the game. The owner/manager should take their share of responsibility, surely its obvious to employ an extra pair of hands in the kitchen (they were working very hard) and waitress on football nights, and maybe restrict the menu like others restaurants in the area do. Food was good as always but the combination of incredibly rude service and slow cooking means we sadly won't be returning until they get their act together.

Nice location just of main road. Varied menu Italian, Mexican and English. We visited on a Tuesday night, so not busy. There were eighteen of us and the service was excellent. I had Rump Steak with peppercorn sauce, chips and salad 🥗. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium to well done) . If your ever in the Finsbury Park area of London I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Pizza is far less than the food offer here. No wonder Italians love to keep this secret. Too easy to miss a great treat. If you're in the area in need of a great little get dinner ( or lunch) cone here and enjoy

I came here this weekend with my family, we were in London for the marathon and my brothers birthday. We initially went to another nearby restaurant who turned us away because we didn't book, and it's a good job too otherwise we wouldn't find this lovely little place. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, very generous portions and great value for money. It was a little quite for a Saturday night but we did eat rather early and having a child with us suited nicely

We live round the corner from this place and it has been our favourite local restaurant ever since the children were young. The pizzas are excellent and, unless Arsenal are playing (when it's really busy), the service fairly swift. Try the sizzling fajitas if you're sick of pizza. My kids like the spaghetti carbonara (even the kids size portion is quite big) though I find that dish a bit garlicky for my taste. 1 of the waitresses is a bit sour faced and brusque but the rest of the staff are fine. Quite a nice ambience in the evenings. Tables outside in the summer which is nice with the family but watch out for sliding drinks as they're not flat!

Well looks can be so deceiving, it was awful, the bruschetta tasted of salt, not a hint of garlic, the garlic bread with cheese was not hot all the way through, kaleftico had no taste, the meat came off the bone but it was so bland, spaghetti Bol I mean come on how can u Ftu but they did, it was dry, no juice, congealed is the word I'm looking for, I have to say that is the worst meal we have ever eaten out, no stars for this one

I have been here a couple of times, on the first occasion having arrived at midday for lunch was told the chef will be here later .... ok....thought I'd give it another chance, and took a few friends out for lunch, Fish soup is good, when the bill came I presented my debit card only to be told the machine was broken ( we were the only diners there ) why not tell me before we ordered. I refused to pay service charge or leave a tip as I had to pay £1.25 fee to withdraw from local cash machine.

this is a lovely local restaurant with a great atmosphere, great pizza and staff. the fish soup and the pizzas are recommendedI just wish they would add that last 10% and it could be brilliant. e.g, please pizzadelique stop serving Aldi ketchup and mustard (both disgusting) and if you are going to serve cheap deep-fried frozen scampi then dont charge £6 for it. a more general feeling of freshness and inventiveness wouldnt hurt.only saying this as i care about it as a local business and want them to do well. other than a few minor gripes its a lovely place

Some of the best pizza in the area. For a long time, they didn't deliver, which was great in its own way. You got to see the restaurant which is a great spot for taking friends and family generally. Their pizzas are really well baked, though on this one occasion, the quattro stagioni looked like the toppings had just been piled on one side rather than across the pizza...forgiveable I guess, with it only happening once in all the years I have been going there.

We were the only customers when we had lunch at Pizzadelique. This is not a bad reflection on the restaurant, rather we went in as the previous customers headed out for a match at the Emirates Stadium. We were welcomed with a friendly smile, there was no fuss about accommodating a buggy and a high chair was rustled up from somewhere. It’s family friendly – childrens’ portions are an option. Complimentary nachos and hummus completed the welcome.Pizzadelique offers a wide range of starters, thin crust pizzas, pasta dishes, chargrilled steaks, Mex-Tex and rice dishes plus specials. The portions are big – my whitebait starter and side order of chips made up a very good lunch. It would take a big appetite indeed to cope with a three course meal here. And the food is excellent – collectively we had garlic French baguette, whitebait, scampi, squid rings, roasted aubergine and ‘Free Choice Pizza (Any 4 available toppings)’ and all were delicious. We had a litre carafe of house white, which was quite adequate. Prices are very reasonable. Pizzadelique is not posh, or even particularly smart, but it is a very good local restaurant. On that day Arsenal fans will have enjoyed both a fine lunch to keep out the March cold and a 3-0 win over West Ham.

Have been eating here for the last eleven years, and whilst there have been changes in ownership the food has always been first class. Five of us went recently and you couldn't fault it.The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 was because of the toilets. Although clean, they really do need modenising.

This restaurant is always worth a visit. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 was because they were quite mean with the scampi portion today.. 6 pieces in a main course meal! Anyway this is a lovely restaurant tucked away at the back of Highbury Barn. The atmosphere suits romance or a family meal. The staff are friendly and the food is always high quality. They are more than happy to provide tap water, in a jug with ice and a wedge of lemon, nice touch.

Went recently with my partner. Ordered potato skins and tomato bruschetta to start with and a pizza to share for our main. The guacamole I asked for was just a hastily mashed avocado (they weren't busy). No lime, chilli etc. and the potato skins were all burnt. The bruschetta was just inedible and I left it. This is one of the most simple Italian dishes and all you need are 5 good quality ingredients. This was the problem, they weren't good quality. The bread was a bizarre crusty roll cut in half rather than a slice of decent grilled sourdough or quality bread. The tomatoes were cheap, bitter and tough as old boots. They were salad tomatoes rather than more appropriate plum tomatoes. The wrong ingredient. There was no olive oil or basil just some dried herbs sprinkled on top. Just a bizarre attempt at a simple dish with no pride taken in it. It cost around £6 and must have comprised about 50p worth of ingredients. I really don't like being so blatantly ripped off.The pizza we had for our main was horrible. A thick doughy base and far too much cheese with barely any tomato sauce. We had to take much of the cheese off to make it edible and it was bland and disappointing. Much better pizza to be had locally (eg Pappagone).

I wanted to like this because it's close to me and their heart seems to be in the right place, but unfortunately it wasn't very good. The delivery was late, although they did call to apologise for this and I'm not too bothered by that. The pizza was flabby. Parma ham was specified in the menu, but cooked ham was delivered. Overall it was just quite unpleasant.

I have been a loyal and regular customer of Pizzadelique for over 7 years now. Without warning, explanation or apology, they have stopped delivering to my address. Based on other reviews, it appears their service has dropped dramatically over recent months. I'm not sure if management has changed but how else could you explain such a deterioration in quality and service. Such a shame as they have built such a strong reputation over the years and i've recommended them to everyone i know in the area... now they seem determined to undo all their hard work.

Me and my partner used to visit this place weekly around 5 years ago and decided that as we were in the area we would pay it a visit. Well it was really disappointing and our memories of good times and probably the best pizza in North London have been ruined. Their pizza was always the thin and crispy making for an authentic Italian dish but on this last visit they had changed the base and it was thicker and doughy. The toppings weren't as nice either. The pizza chef is the same guy so not sure why things have changed so dramatically. Oh well...I'm not saying I wouldn't return but I wouldn't make a special trip to visit. Great menu selection as always. It's the sister of the Mexican place across the road so has a crossover with their offerings.

Visited with friends on a busy Sunday lunch time. This was my 3rd visit to this pub over many years, and it has been good each time. My friends had roast beef, and I had the vegetarian roast. We shared some puddings too. The staff were very accommodating about making things gluten free, and there are vegan options. The food, service and atmosphere were all good. The staff regularly came around and replaced the water jugs. My only complaint was that they added things to the bill, such as extra gravy we’d asked for as the food wasn’t very hot, and a bottle of sparkling water they’d put on the table without us asking for it, and we couldn’t drink it because they’d asked us to vacate the table. In fairness, they took these items off the bill when we queried them without any hassle. Overall, recommended :)
