Alcedo Bistro & Bar in Islington

Un gran grupo de nosotros visitamos Alcedo para nuestro final - de - término ‘hacer’ y no puedo recomendar lo suficiente! La comida era absolutamente maravillosa. Cada plato fue cocinado a la perfección y los tamaños de las porciones eran muy generosos. Las bebidas eran razonables y el servicio era impecable. El personal no podía hacer lo suficiente por nosotros. Cuando se fueron los últimos clientes (que no fueran nuestro grupo) , la música subió unos cuantos escalones y pudimos disfrutar de un baile y unas copas más. ¡Qué ambiente maravilloso y cálido! Definitivamente voy a volver a visitar este lugar pronto. ¡Gracias Alcedo!

My aunt who came from Colombia to visit and had no idea about prices, was charged by this man 20 for a lunch meal including soup. The lunch was chicken and chips salad and a bit of rice, the soup was butternut squash - nothing special. Judge for yourselves but 20 for that? Is ridiculous!!! When I challenged it he said it was 13 lunch and 7 the soup. But when I see the menu there is NO such prices specially for a soup He lied in my face and tried to make himself look like he gave us a good deal. Dishonest and as you would say in Spanish aprovechado. Simply because my aunt didn't speak English. It's not even so much about the money it's the principle!

Hemos disfrutado de una magnífica cena de Nochevieja, ensalada de pato con salsa a base de soja, pechuga de pollo con salsa de vino blanco y cerdo al horno con mote, todos espectaculares, de postre "sherry trifle" y pera al vino, realmente deliciosos. El precio más que ajustado. En cuanto al personal, nos pareció muy atento en todo momento y amable, en definitiva, nos sentimos como en familia. Es el tipo de establecimiento al que me gustaría ir habitualmente. We have enjoyed a magnificent New Year's Eve dinner, duck salad with a soy-based sauce, chicken breast with white wine sauce and baked pork with mote, all espectacular, then for dessert Sherry trifle and pear in wine, truly delicious. The price more than adjusted. As for the staff, we found them to be very attentive at all times and friendly, in short, we felt like family. It's the type of establishment I would like to go to regularly.

C’est un petit restaurant sympathique . Le patron est super gentil et très accueillant et le repas était excellent . Nous avons même eu droit au digestif offert ! Toilettes propres.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment ! Le magret de canard et le cheesecake étaient délicieux et le serveur très sympathique, un grand merci !
