The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Fochabers Lhanbryde Moray Highlands and Islands

Stopped here for lunch with the dog. Lovely food, good service and the cakes looked delicious - we didn’t try any though. Recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to have a coffee/cake or lunch.

Great little coffee shop The couple were helpful as I do not drink coffee and were very friendly and nice Had Earl Grey and a cinnamon swirl - nice It was torrential rain but they were open on a Saturday in October , with local customers getting their roast and carry out cuppa Well wort a visit.

I decided to take my children for a after school treat and took them to the parlour. We got greeted with friendly faces and lots of different ice cream to choose from. We sat inside and one of the ladies came over to take our order, (very patient with the children making their all important decision😅) . While we were waiting for our ice cream, one of the girls came over with crayons and paper for the kids. The ice cream was delicious 😋!! My girls nipped to the toilet and on the way back, the owner gave them a sweetie which they were obviously delighted with. It's a lovely little place to go for that all important treat!!

The cakes looked and tasted amazing but it was ruined by the smell of old fryer fat, it was so bad I felt sick and had to wash jackets etc when we got home, it really ruined the experience as it was that strong. Also I don't mine paying an extra charge for sitting in with cake but do think it needs to be a set charge for each cake say 20p per cake bought, my son's cake had a 30p charge but mine was 70p extra added, doesn't seem right to me, I'd rather see a set charge instead of what cake I buy as that put me off. Cakes tasted good though but I wouldn't rush back due to these issues.

We had the best afternoon tea at Threaplands! There was sausage rolls, quiche, a good mix of sandwiches, delicious cakes and copious amounts of tea! All served by friendly, helpful staff. A great experience. We’ll definitely be back!

We took the opportunity to attend an evening event of dinner at the Walled Garden cafe. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere with divine food. Some of the ingredients were straight from the walled gardens themselves. Small and intimate was perfect. Staff were knowledgeable regarding ingredients and clearly proud of the quality and selection - rightly so. What a lovely evening. We really hope there are more dates in the diary. Well done team.
