What was once a friendly local supermarket now seems focused on virtual shoppers. It is not the fault of the staff who are first rate but the fact that Waitrose Byres Road is all about Deliveroo. It is often difficult to access the food as there are 6ft high trolleys being stacked for home delivery taking up the space with staff having to concentrate on fulfilling the online orders.
