I get treated as if I am an annoyance by the staff and should not waste their time coming in to the shop. I was owed £30 this morning which they did not have in the till at the kiosk. I was asked to come back in the afternoon...really...Waitrose! I stood my ground and said I would not be coming back, so eventually a member of staff went and got the money from the finance office after making me feel bad and embarrassed.

I bought an organic christmas turkey crown 22/12 use by 26/12. I cooked according to instructions on christmas day. The worst I have ever attempted to eat, dry and tasteless. Very disappointing. However the dogs enjoyed it.

I use Waitrose delivery ..every week. It's diabolical nowadays. They have increased delivery price & decreased the service. Usually late & often significantly. No good if you are going out to appointments. I cannot recommend this service nowadays & I have used Waitrose for many years. Shame.

Visit here with my toddler almost weekly. The cafe offers great coffee and whilst they tend to run low on supplies by late afternoon I appreciate that this results in less food waste. The prices are fair for other similar local establishments and I like the fact you can choose to get things in store after trying them at the cafe. There is really useful family bathroom facilities which can be hard to find and their parent and child parking spaces are generous and close to trolleys which is well thought out. Other reviews have mentioned empty shelves but I've never found this to be the case except for during extreme weather. They have a good selection of non food items as well, better than most other local supermarkets of the same size.

Possibly the tattiest branch of Waitrose with a lack of staff, empty shelves, broken tills.......Lidl in Partick is cleaner & better stocked, plus you don't have staff smoking outside the front door of the store. Clearly poorly managed.

I shop there regularly, there is a good selection of quality food and the butcher counter is excellent - good quality meat at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff in all the departments. The shop is also very clean and bright - a pleasure to shop there and have a coffee in the cafe.

They have a new Sushi counter where they made fresh sushi in front of customers. It is better than restaurant quality and the price is reasonable. it’s a completely different experience we love it!. We also order the platter for our family get-together.

Staying locally went for breakfast on Saturday 9th October, ordered the traditional breakfast, waited 25 minutes but the breakfast arrived beautifully cooked and presented, a real pleasure and not expensive. Flushed with success, I returned on Monday to repeat the process. Not only did the person on the till not know whether breakfast was available, I waited another difficult to understand period, the breakfast arrived, what a disaster, who stacks two fried eggs on the top of each other? I can only assume someone with little or no skill was preparing food on Monday, it was so bad I began to doubt that I had been to this Waitrose on Saturday, food was both undercooked and over cooked, presentation was, well had to be seen to be believed. Hopeless, who ever prepared that breakfast maybe should get back to something unskilled.

10 minutes in the fish deli area sole person waiting, others gave up, I spent this time watching a 'partner' who really should have a trained parter with her 'really butcher' a leg of lamb, in the end after a seven minute attempt she gave up took her hat off, then mask then apron to go and get help, 5 minutes later a guy came along and sawed the leg in two, (I think it had simply decided to give up the fight). The girl then decided to wash her hands and put the hat back on, then the apron again, to come to the fish deli to serve me the only two lobster tails in the counter display. I was asked how many I wished and repeated 2, to which she said how many of these (there were only 2). The shop had one person on three deli counters all requiring different hygiene needs. the only staff member with a trolley just wandered past and looked at me uncaringly. This store has taken a nosedive and its leadership is appauling. Just take a look at the reviews, it is your only means of contacting a MANAGER.

Visited the Waitrose Milngavie store last week in order to purchase my daily shop, was struggling to find a brand of milk I was interesting in purchasing, as I approached one of the members of staff in order to recieve some help she greeted me with a stern, aggrovated posture. When I explained my problem she looked at me with a look of disgust and pointed her finger in a direction. I am appauled at this girls attempt at helping me !!! Will not be returning.

Been in twice this week and on both days had the spiced apple tea, and on both days told no cinnamon. Could they not just nip into the Morrisons next door and get some, or would this reduce their tax evaded profits?

After spotting this little place on the way to the waterfalls we had to stop for something to eat. If you're lucky enough to get a seat outside when it's sunny. You won't be disappointed as the view is awesome. However. Once you do sit down, be aware you will likely have to ask for a menu as we waited for a good twenty minutes before we realised the waiting staff were walking past us. Pleasent though once they realised we hadn't been seen. The food itself was not up to scratch for the prices. My girlfriend got a baked potato with cheese, I got an £8.50 goats cheese salad which was literally a handful of chopped lettuce, two super thin slices of goat cheese, sprinkle of pine nuts and zigzag of balsamic. No where near worth the 8.50. my girlfriend's dish was a hard skinned potato, a teeny bit of cheese, iceberg and some crisps. We were both disappointed. This place is missing a trick. A reduced menu with some locally sourced ingredients focusing on a more homely and better cooked and presented product would be best. Maybe due to the weather they were low on ingredients, but until I see some better food, I'd be reluctant to go back. The place is now called The Glen Cafe and Bistro.
