Costa Coffee in East Dunbartonshire

Been in twice this week and on both days had the spiced apple tea, and on both days told no cinnamon. Could they not just nip into the Morrisons next door and get some, or would this reduce their tax evaded profits?

My local cafe. Staff are great, it's always clean, music at just the right levels, and just feels like a very nice neighbourhood place to have around the corner so I can come hang out and work. 🙂✍️☕️☕️

The staff are reasonably friendly and the drinks and food are always typical Costa Coffee quality.

Popped in for a quick catch up with friends. Never been in before as we would use M & S cafe before it closed. Ordered the cheese and tomato toastie - awful! No 'tomato' but instead it had tomato paste - like a pizza! At £4.00 a sandwich this was a rip off! So cheese and tomato toastie is tomato paste and cheese!

More or less self service as staff take time clearing tables

Seems to have random opening times. Tried to go but they were cleaning up and mopping with 30 mins until closing time.

Nice and quiet spot for catching up with work emails.

Great customer service from staff, speedy service too!

The staff were helpful better than Starbucks because the staff carried the items I bought for me

The staff aren’t all that chatty at all. The manager or who sounded like she was the manager was just plain rude. Expressionless face. No personality, smile, chat. Just straight and to the point. There was no other customers in the que, they weren’t doing anything before I arrived. Spoke aloud about a drink looking really good and got blatantly ignored even though the manager/maestro and her colleague looked directly at me. Spoke to the boy making my coffee instead because I was a bit embarrassed from being ignored. Really disapppnting as I used to work in costa and my brother was a manager in costa about 5 years and one of the most important things was attitude to customers and would always be reminded to be polite and chatty with people coming in. I’d strongly advise this store follows suit because it’s not the first time I’ve felt staff were completely emotionless and introverts. Plus when I asked the boy making my coffee if one of the new drinks was good he just said “yeah”. Maybe they’re all NPC’s

It is what it is, nothing special and expensive

Prices have gone up so much recently at Costa it's shocking. This is still a really nice spot tho and the staff are usually helpful, friendly and efficient.

A bit of cleaning will do, staff don't know what's frappe..

Popped into costa Friday 27/5/22 .I specifically ordered a chai latte and after arriving in the gym…tasted the chai latte,it turned out to be a latte!! Absolutely a joke in this costa,staff member who made drink obviously not concentrating on job,very poor service

The people working in the costa are nice, they are always busy, service is reasonable. My pet hate for this Costa is the fact the put the air conditioning up, full blast on cold, when you have a coffee is goes cold very fast due to this. Then hypothermia sets in and next minute your in the artic circle… this wasn’t just one visit either, every time, it’s exactly the same.

tables full.of empty plates and cups had to ask for missing items 3 times a lemon muffin and a fork to eat the macaroni

Place now looks and feels like 1950 Soviet factory canteen. Other Costa places are welcoming..Briggs needs to do the same...

Staff are just rude and unhelpful. Everything is a bother to them. I didn't dare go back to the counter to ask for sugar for fear I'd burst into flames with the stare 🤬🤬🤬. Although the burning glare from their demented faces was certainly hotter than the tea I got.

Very rude member of staff advised that 2 afults could not queue together despite being form the same household. Rude rude rude. Go to Yim Hortons nearby much better

The staff are incredibly rude and the coffee is not of the same standard as other Costas. In particular, the manager could not have been more unhelpful.

First time in my life writing a bad review. Today’s experience we waited in the queue outside 15 mins later got served, paid then waited to collect our drinks.. a blonde young girl left two hot drink cups down and walked away I asked her twice if it was our drinks, she ignored me (not good for someone with social anxiety) My partner then spoke up and asked louder if it was our drinks .. the girl said yeah from a distance then turned her back. He then thanked them for letting us know and the girl started laughing with a younger boy. I complained to the boy at this point as the girl had a face like thunder and all I got told was “he couldn’t hear me because of my mask” but he took multiple orders with customers using face masks. Maybe be kinder and don’t work in customer service if all you want to do is treat people like a joke

Large Costa, so good for social distancing. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Good selection of cakes and sandwiches.

Staff friendly and welcoming. Tables well spaced in line with the social distancing in place, good coffee.

I love Costa's coffee and the staff in my local are very nice although I did prefer the layout and decor before they changed it.

Lovely big Costa. A really nice person greeted me and made my coffee. A big space with plenty of seating. Nice clean toilets :)

Need to improve their coffee, not as good as most others

Staff were very helpful. Can’t fault them at all. Staff explained the difference between a filter & an Americano (I know, I’m such an amateur).

Nice place, pretty average coffee. M&S at the retail park the best coffee in the area.

Full fat milk used so I was expecting a a silky smooth latte with a thick creamy head but was served..... Well pictures speak louder than words 🤪

I originally gave this place 4 stars but after my latest visit on Saturday morning. I have to change this to 1 star. Although my Fiance and I very much enjoyed the toast, our drinks were awful. I had tea which had virtually no flavour, despite leaving in the pot for around 7mins and my Fiance had a so called 'latte' which he says tasted awful and had literally no coffee in it so was just milky water 🙁. Unfortunately this was the first time he had visited and will definitely be the last! Loads of tables needed clearing and the 'cheery, helpful staff' referred to by other revewers must have been having a day off! Not exactly cheap either but suppose someone has to pay for the place to have been refurbished? Very disappointed

Like Costa, this is my local one. Was not pleased with burnt toast yesterday

Visited here this morning just before eleven o'clock for a coffee. Only two members of staff on queue of eight waiting to be served. Place in chaos with tables full of dishes and floor filthy. When I went to toilet no soap in soap dispenser and sink looked as though it definitely had not been cleaned this morning. On husband commenting about lack of staff to server he answered I only work here. Needs a Manager to sort this place out.

Best coffee nice staff at Bishopbriggs

The store was a little busy but the two young girls serving couldn't have been more helpful or nice. However there was a member of staff sitting down talking to a couple while the floor was a mess, I couldn't find a clean table so I had to clear one myself. I don't think I seen her clear a table for 15 minutes !!! The manager has to have a serious word with her she should be working not chatting

Visited for lunch but had to approach the counter to make enquiry about gluten free options. Shop was very quiet, one member of staff was serving someone at the till while another warmed a toastie and one more cleared tables. We waited and the staff member working with the food turned towards us, looked at us and turned away. We waited a little longer with no acknowledgement from any staff and then the person who had been clearing tables came behind the counter looked at us and walked away! At this point we left and wouldn't rush to return!

Great place for great coffee cake bit steep but it's well worth it

We nipped in here for a wee cuppa and a cake while out shopping. Although I don’t drink coffee myself my family does and they love the coffee. The cakes were delicious and the toastie was great as well. Convenient and easy while out running the errands. The place was clean and very busy too. Enjoy!

Great place to have your lunch with friends and family.

£8.14 for a poor sized microwaved macaroni and a regular sized gingerbread hot choc, not to mention running out of cutlery, prices have been steadily creaking up and up and today I've drawn the line. The coffee shop industry was doing well because people did not want to be extorted by most lunch time resteraunts, however it's now just about the same price or more. Unless the price of the products seriously come down I won't be back and the same is for the other franchises.

Good sized Costa. To get in to it you need to park in the Morrisons car park then walk past Morrisons front door towards the main road. Plenty of seats, chairs and tables.

Good coffee, friendly staff, very community focused

Meh, it's a Costa so the internal space is like every other one. On the plus side it seems to be nice and clean unlike a lot of its breatheren but on my last few visits the staff seem glum and disengaged.

There hot chocolate is the best . The staff are really friendly and always welcoming .
