What can I say brilliant meal good friendly staff toilets bar etc very clean have payed a lot more for a lot less else were. Same to keep going back to this bar

Busy wee place with really good food and a friendly atmosphere.

Called today for the usual 1 tea 1 coffee and sandwich, it's is always well presented, today was vastly different, sandwich left in the packets and I wad told that's the way it is, very sad

We were a party of 5 we called into Antoinettes Cafe late afternoon and they quite happily seated us. Excellent service very welcoming. Good choice of food on an easy to read menu. The food came out quite quickly the meals looked good and appetising. We all had different meals from soup and wheaten bread, all day breakfast, warm salad and 2 open sandwiches. I personally had the breakfast which was delicious especially good sausages. The lattes we ordered were very good indeed 1 shot and very creamy and frothy altogether a very good experience and I highly recommend a visit. Reasonable prices and well worth the money I felt.

Love this place tucked away behind Downhill forest. Does the best coffee and also so many lovely treats. The atmosphere is serene and to top it off you can sit out the back surrounded by peacocks. I usually attend with my partner but would also bring my nieces as they love feeding the peacocks and the drinking yummy hot chocolates. Dan, Rebekah and the rest of the team always welcome us with the biggest smiles. Definitely a must go for tourists (&locals) visiting the North Coast - no other place like it. oh and it’s also dog friendly :)

Stopped by for breakfast when staying at Kintala Resort in Dungiven. Lovely local cafe serving fresh, local food. Went for the omelette and my fiancée got the mini breakfast, both were lovely. Great coffee also!

Everything was great .Fantastic food, fantastic service, and a great atmosphere. Prices are more thN reasonable. Don't believe me, try the carvery for yourself it won't be beaten.

The food is good here but unfortunately that is all. The service is horrendous and really lets it down. Staff are ridiculously slow to clear tables and in particular to take orders. On several occasions we called in on a Sunday morning for breakfast and were met by a lengthy queue but when we got to the counter on time to place our order before 12 noon, waitress debated whether to plqce the order at 11:57 and then decided not to so we had to order from the lunch menu instead and we were told 12 was the cut off point for placing a breakfast order despite still being early. We called today at 11:47 to order breakfast and a different waitress told us that the breakfast menu was now finished because the kitchen was backed up and had finished at 11:45 today. Not good enough when we travelled a distance to get there on time. I politely informed her that we had been told 12 noon was the last order time to which she just said we could place an order from the lunch menu but she couldn’t do that until it was 12pm. (So we would have had to stand there and wait for another 15 mins. ) Clearly Waves struggle with handling orders. Due to poor service and inconsistencies, this place is not worth the visit. There are better options with better service that is more deserving of your customer elsewhere. Won’t be back!

I got 2 hot chocolates and a latte on New year's eve, the coffee was fine, the hot chocolates were terrible , they tasted very salty and were undrinkable. The service was slow, taking about 20mins in total for 3 drinks. I will avoid there in the future. So I didn't avoid going back, I was in today 21/1/25 , and order a chicken burger for myself and my husband. They were terrible, as I was biting into the chicken the oil was literally dripping out the other side of the burger, at first I thought it was juice from the tomato or chicken but it was grease. The other burger was exactly the same. It was really unpleasant. I did not flag it to the staff as today wasn't the day to make a complaint. The skinny fries were good. I simply can't recommend this place...

Called today at 3.45 to find the food covered, the lights switched off and the impression they were closing (even though they don’t until 5) from the extremely rude lady behind the counter. This isn’t the first encounter with this staff member, we said nothing but feel it needs brought to managements attention now as they must be losing vital business due to her lack of customer service. The poor elderly couple behind us were treated no better, they were so nice and didn’t deserve the treatment they received either. Definitely won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

went here for lunch last week having been here several times before, we noticed it was not as busy as it had been in the past and now we understand why. we realise that cost of food has risen but not to extent of the price charged of such small portions. chips as a side were not fresh as only luke warm and poor quality. we only ordered chips as on previous occasions the mix veg is alwa.ys cold so would not have them again.
