The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Warminster Broadway Wiltshire South West

Went for a Sunday Roast Lunch, extremely disappointed. Two young ladies looking after the tables were very pleasant and helpful. Nice restaurant, nice bar area and overall very pleasant atmosphere. The food, however, was lacking. One of us had the roast topside of beef one had turkey. Food arrived only barely warm which we asked the manager to take back, which she did and apologised. When it returned it was warmer but not especially hot. The turkey was nice, the roast beef was tough - a warning sign should have been when I was given a steak knife! The veg was presented in separate dishes which is a nice touch and the cauliflower cheese was very nice and very hot, the other veg was broccoli and root veg and only warm. The Yorkshire Puddings were cold and slightly burnt, neither of which got eaten. Surprisingly, the lady manager who initially took our plates to be re-heated, didn't appear again after our plates came back to ask if everything was ok. Very unprofessional. Definitely won't be back for food.

The first good weather day this year April 2024. We met with family and friends. Loved it. So relaxing. Would be lovely for a childs party. The owner and staff all family were so busy. Not being professionals there was sometimes a wait. But who minds waiting in such a relaxed country area? Cant imagine how they got set up with rain wind and mud. But they have. Well done.
