The first good weather day this year April 2024. We met with family and friends. Loved it. So relaxing. Would be lovely for a childs party. The owner and staff all family were so busy. Not being professionals there was sometimes a wait. But who minds waiting in such a relaxed country area? Cant imagine how they got set up with rain wind and mud. But they have. Well done. Wish you well.

Great little hidden gem! Quirky place with outdoor benches and seating on the bus upper level. Breakfasts range from full fry up to delicious pancakes, hot drinks were a good size and freshly ground coffee beans from a barista machine. I can see why this place is popular for both campers and local residents

Firstly it was apparent they didn’t want us to order as they were too busy. I had to ask 3 times if we were able to order & after a discussion between them where 1 was surprised the other would take the order they took my order. I should of seen the alarm bells and not ordered but we were hungry & not knowing the area were not aware of our options. The chicken satay is not worth the money at all -rubbery 4 tiny bits of chicken on small sticks. Rice was burnt. Ordered yellow curry got green. Ordered vegetable noodles got chicken. I would not recommend to others. Order a dominos or other takeaway to the campsite like I wish I had! Also the guy kept coughing & was not wearing a mask!

A group of us used to go up to the Rainbow Bus Cafe twice a week for a coffee and cake and occasionally a Thai meal......not any more.. The prices have gone through the roof...a coffee in a cardboard cup now costs £3....where else charges prices like that? The Ritz? I had a coffee and a slice of lemon cake a few days ago and it cost £8....that is outrageous for what is basically a little caff in a field with wooden benches to sit at. What overheads do they have for an old bus parked in a field?.........WE WONT BE BACK.

I decided to visit for a catch up with a friend as we had heard good things. I think the person serving might have been struggling on her own but this was the weirdest experience. We asked for two vegetarian breakfasts, the staff member took our order and went off to cook it. In the mean time several other people arrived but she didn’t serve them and just carried on cooking. After about twenty minutes she arrived with one breakfast. We said we’d asked for two. She apologised and said she would cook another. We paid for both and waited and waited and waited. After an hour had gone by, my friend went to ask if her meal was ready yet, especially as other people had received their orders ahead of us. The staff member laughed and said she’d forgotten to cook it! My friend got a refund and we left. It was a funny story at least but we won’t be going back!

Visiting here after a walk around Longleat forest. Lovely food and drinks served from a double decker bus. Plenty of outside seating for Covid secure dining. Definitely coming back.

We stopped off after a walk around Longleat forest. Delicious hot chocolates made with milk and with loads of cream and marshmallows! A real treat on a cold day. Still open during Covid lockdown.

We have had takeaway from here a number of times now and it is our favourite takeaway in the local area. It doesn’t leave you feeling greasy or really naughty afterwards as the food feels as if it’s really fresh and well cooked. We can’t wait to get takeaway again soon! We have also visited for ice creams etc with the children, it’s one place the children will walk to without moaning as they love the ice creams and the selection so much. The staff on the bus are always really helpful and lovely. A real gem x

Absolutely delicious food made and served with a smile. Highly recommend. Home made Thai cooking as it should be cooked by the lovely Suree from Thailand!! Thanks

Really surprisingly good Thai food which were it being served in a fancy restaurant setting would not be out of place at all. Also serves decent bacon/sausage/egg butties and full english. However, cash only so probably doing themselves out of some serious business from the campers (we had to forego our booked full english as we had insufficient cash left on the final morning).

What a lovely site with the added bonus of this bus cafe. We arrived Friday evening and had a gorgeous thai curry. They do fab kids food too. Icecreams, shakes. We had a full fry up on Sunday morning. You can pre order and i highly recommend as it gets very busy. You can camp and not have to cook!!! Marvellous!!!

Lovely staff and good grub in an ancient double decker bus...No..It's not a Red Route Master Classic but good food at reasonable prices in a fun environment...You don't need to be camping either...Just drop in and drop out! ...Or pig out.

Having ate here before and had a good time I thought it would be good for a birthday meal for 4 on a Monday lunch time how disappointing it was. 2 Steak & Stiton pies ordered although very tasty lacked Stiton and was meant to be served with veg we had to ask for the veg which when it arrived after several minutes the excuse was we only have 2 microwaves not the excuse I wanted, the other 2 meals were fine, unfortunately we will not go back.

We visited on a Sunday for breakfast. Arriving a couple of minutes after 10am (opening time), we queued for a table and then again to order food. There were plenty of tables but appreciated it was busy - not all tables were full. We waited for 50 minutes for our food to arrive, although coffee arrived much earlier. This was prompted by us asking where our food was/checking the order had been made, to which we were told ‘we’d just have to wait because it was busy’. The food arrived 5 minutes later. The food was tasty and we’ve no complaints about the quality or price. But, something about the system here just doesn’t make sense, queuing at every point and then waiting another 50 minutes for scrambled eggs on toast and a bacon sandwich, doesn’t make sense. We arrived at 10 and didn’t leave until 12:15…. People had started arriving for lunch! Sadly, we’d not return. There are just other places nearby that are doing it better.

The location of this establishment is strange because the shop/restaurant sits within what is essentially a business park in the middle of nowhere but it is not hard to find. The setting was ideal for a summer lunch with lots of variously covered areas to shelter from the sun or rain if it happens. Then you realise that all these covered areas are, in fact, the restaurant! I saw no evidence of indoor seating. The main seating area is fundamentally a plastic marquee attached to a shop unit and all the seats are picnic benches. They have an interesting menu, which changes regularly I understand, and it is obvious that this establishment is not trying be a full all ‘singing and dancing’ restaurant and they do make that clear. It uses locally sourced quality produce for Deli style light meals, specifically lunches, and also snacks. The people running it are personable, welcoming and efficient. We found them very helpful and attentive and the food was delicious. Overall, the food menu is a little overpriced I feel but not excessive. That said, a few dishes do seem “over the top’ for what they are. It is the shop where the prices are eyewatering expensive and I think they have gone too far. I can here them now saying that they are supporting local suppliers and that this comes at a cost but times are hard and I do truly believe they, or their suppliers, need to face reality as the pricing is far too high. We need to support businesses like this but they have to respond too! Did I enjoy my meal? Yes, fantastic, Would I go again? Yes, definitely! Would I encourage you to go? Yes definitely! I just warn you that your visit will be enjoyable but not cheap so be prepared.

Visited Marlborough for the day and popped in for a coffee! We were greeted with quick, friendly service and were excited about the range of pastries we got to choose from! We were very impressed with the cleanliness and style of the cafe and would absolutely love to return here when we’re down again!
